i dont get the point of manga when there is ANIME

I too would always watch an anime over a manga. To me its just....I dont know.....common sense.
I could never get off to looking at a Porno Mag....which is why I would watch a video.....same concept applies for anime (Cept the obvious stuff)
Plus, I already know there would be scenes in a Manga that I wouldnt be able to understand what just happened.

its because its cheaper to make and produce, so people are willing to take more risks with it rather than produce a whole anime only to make no money, thats why a lot of anime are manga first

Maybe it wouldn't be so annoying if you actually read a physical copy instead of reading online, but then that means you'd have to (gasp) spend money.
And what's so great about the anime versions, filler arcs are the reason I stopped watching.
Not all anime come from manga.
Not all manga get turned into anime.
Not all anime are completely faithful to the manga they are based off of.

Agreed. Anime like Naruto and Bleach is just full of fillers but I still prefer anime because it gives "life" to manga pictures those can't move.

well.. i think i prefer manga better because the drawing details in manga are usually "cleaned up" or simplified in anime, and although it might be stupid one of the main reasons that draw me to a particular anime/manga is the art style. i also kind of agree with the above posts- anime usually gives you fillers and sometimes even changes the story a little.
but that doesnt mean anime is bad or anything because like the above person said, it brings "life" and its also easier to work out whats going on (like in an action manga) and it can also be more entertaining. but i think if you just want to know how the story progresses then you should read the manga because the only "fillers" it will have are those omake things (extras but theyre usually funny).

Quoted for truth.
Anyone with the mental capacity to handle reading a manga already knows that not all good manga get turned into anime. Some that do are done horribly wrong(here's looking at Rosario+Vampire). Some are just completely different stories entirely(here's looking at Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome).
I almost didn't reply but I wanted to at least put this out for anyone who fails to notice the OP is just trolling.

How stupid.
You know, if there wasn't manga, you wouldn't get half the anime you see today.
Seriously, animes like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Reborn, and ect. came first in manga form.
Manga is entertainment too. Plus, not all mangas get made into animes. It's that simple.
Whether you read manga or watch anime is up to you, but you have to appreciate manga too because without it, probably some of your favorite anime wouldn't have ever been made.
You should be thanking the creation of manga instead of bashing it.
