Actually, when my ex broke up with me nearly a year ago (was with her for 2 years and was wanting this girl to be the one) It was probably the best thing she's ever done to/for me. Not that she was a terrible person or did horrible things to me(which she did, but is forgiven thus forgotten) but because it showed me what real love is. That no matter what the person may or may not do, with or without, seeing or not seeing, no matter life or death that my love for them will never evaporate or lessen. Thats true love, which shouldn't be confused with emotions, affection, dating, or even sex. To say love is any of those would dumb it down to short-term human characteristics which change constantly. This love we are capable of is not something we gain and or fall in or out of at any point, its always there and constant just waiting for us to see it truth and grasp it.

Here's something I wrote awhile ago but I believe it to be still relavent, read if you wish, slightly long. Any kind of feedback is fine by me Enjoy!

me and him probably nothing happen. I am just happy that we are taking summer school together. One more year, I will graduate, and I would not see any more. I am happy how he makes feel content.. I have not had butterflies in my stomach feeling for awhile. I would not have know that I like him until that field trip sitting next to him. I remember this yellow flower scent at that park, when I see or smell that flower then I would think about him.

Even if you're afraid you'll still fall in love if you meet the right person. Encounters happen whether or not you like it. Avoided them quite well since today though.

Yup yup! I've had my heart broken scores of times by my crushes (unknowingly) but I still manage to be strong for myself!

It's a gamble, but not one I'm willing to take like this for example: http://gizmodo.com/5833787/my-brief-okcupid-affair-with-a-world-champion-magic-the-gathering-player

Edit: Sorry screwed up on hyper linking.

Absolutely.

Although I dislike duality's. This or that. How about having it all, love and your composure.

If you are afraid to fall in love, then you don't really know what hate is. Ha ha, BS.

Life and living it is risk.

For some reason, people are more worried about intangible emotional injuries than physical ones. They'll text while driving, become obese, etc. but won't let another person get so intimately close that they feel vulnerable. People are such an ass-backwards bunch.
