Limewire ... Oh boy

Limewire Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why!!!!!!! !!!!

I hate to be the pessimist who says the sky is falling but... This the beginning of the end for net neutrality...

I can't say I didn't see it coming with the whole ACTA dealio... But still wow...

Thanks... A legal notice telling me that doing something involving legal issues is considered illegal. I did not know that.

Can you say with sincerity that you were about to use Limewire for something legal?

Anyway I am disappointed. I thought this proposal was still limited to the EU. But it is unsurprising it has spread to other major countries.

Ultimately I agree. While ACTA doesn't affect me directly right now, it will in the future. This policy is some pretty extreme leverage for others to begin bringing up other more restricting policies. It is certain that this leverage is going to be used. Then someday they're going to do something that gets in my way. Yes, this sort of thing could potentially be the end of net neutrality. However ... I like to think that their pushes are going to eventually invoke a significant counter push. Like all the times in places that alcohol has been banned, among similar things.

Limewire brings viruses...

Oh wow i didnt know about this. Certainly it looks like the law is getting stricter on this matter of legal stuff posted on the net. Earlier this year we see manga sites being told to not host the manga scans cos it's illegal.

don't really care, lime wire is full of adware, spyware and other things that the FBI should be worried about other than "illegal music sharing" such as cp
