App is amazing on my 4S, but just as a general suggestion I think some sort of checklist as to which episodes have been watched in queue would be nice because it doesn't always register that I've watched it so I can't tell if theres a new episode out when I take a quick glance at the app. I normally don't watch the credits and that's probably why, I usually have to go back and watch a few seconds of the credits for it to register as watched.

iPod touch (unsure if it's 1st or 2nd gen)
Version : 4.2.1
Last app download: 5/20/12
Problem: the app would not play the videos so I uninstalled the crunchyroll app. Now when I try to download the app again it says that the app is not comparable with my iPod touch.
How message was received: ununstalled the app then tried to re install.

I will add my two cents. Ipad 1, IOS 5, latest CR app which I update religiously as presented in my updates applet.
NO show in my queues update as I watch them. In order to watch I have to open "Videos" and remember the episode after the last one I watched.
Shows are: "All of them" but to be specific:
Hayate No Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes Off You
Gintama
Bakemonogatari
BLASSREITER
and more.

The app works great on my iPhone 4. I'm about to upgrade to a iPhone 5. But I noticed on my friend's iPhone 5 that this app does not fully support the 4 inch screen. I think the developers at Crunchyroll should try to roll out full support for the iPhone 5. Another thing is that push notifications for new episodes do not work. I actually really liked the feature before and would like it back again. I know everyone at Crunchyroll is busy so I really appreciate all of your efforts.

Any chance that you can add an option so that the app goes straight to my Queue screen when I launch it? 99.99% of the time I run the app, that's where I want to be. Thanks!

Your friend must not have updated the app recently, because the CR app has had support for the 4" screen in iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G for a while now.

I just downloaded the update on my ipod 4g version 4.3.2 but it keeps crashing whenever I try to open it. I've tried restarting the ipod at least 3 times and even reinstalled the app but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried to download the latest iOS app. I kept getting the iTunes Store error code number 11111. I tried on both my iPhone and Computer and neither worked. Anybody else getting this error, too?

My first positive reply here! :p
The quality seems to improve on ipad 3 streaming now. better late then never.

still some scenes where the quality drops regardless of bandwidth.

room for improvement, but getting there for sure!

My queues on my iPhone 4s and iPad 2 had not been updating for at least 3 or more revs of the app.

I have finally gotten them to start updating again with all shows and have confirmed this with the iPhone 4s and iPad 2 running iOS 6.0.1 and versions 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 of the Crunchyroll app.

To get the queue to start updating again, I logged out of my account in the app, then quit the App, relaunched and logged back in. Shows that didn't update and were watched just before logging out seemed to update immediately after logging in. If I encountered another show that did not update, the logout/quit/relaunch/login cycle seemed to fix it.

Before trying this, if I watched a show from the anime tab instead of from the home/queue tab, it would never update in the queue. It now seems to update correctly.

One question though. I think Prior to version 2.0, I could use Airplay from the iPad or iPhone to an Apple TV and let the screen of the device go to sleep or intentionally sleep the screen (or close lid) and it could continue streaming to the Apple TV. This was useful as it saved a considerable amount of battery power and it also prevented interrupting shows due to accidental screen touches. This no longer works, as the app stops playback if the screen is put to sleep (or lid is closed). Behavior has improved in 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 as the app now prevents the automatic screen lock from activating during playback. Will the ability to sleep the screen during Airplay playback ever return?
