Since last update on ipad the queue history doesn't update properly.

Same problem here. iPad 2, still on iOS 5, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but viewing history and queue just don't update with my watching. If I add new series, they show up in my queue, but nothing else changes.

I figured out how to fix my issue!
If your history is not updating on mobile device after watching an episode, I suggest you go to the website on a PC and clear your History.

I guess mine was way oversaturated with info since I never cleared it since I joined Crunchy roll... 2 years ago.

How do you clear your "history"? I am having the same problem and I went to the site but I don't see how to clear my history. Any help would be great.

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out but it certainly didn't help. Now it thinks I am on the first episode of everything. NO NOT CLEAR YOUR HISTORY. It's actually worse then before. How was this supposed to be helpful?

Obviously, clearing history = delete history.
Sorry if you loose track of your list by not taking notes, I should have mentionned it earlier... I was assuming people would note of which episode they are up to.

I assure you it fixes the problem. WHY: the history now writes itself properly after watching any episode.

So the correct steps should be:

1- Write down which episode you're up to for all animes in your Queue.
2- Go to the history tab and purge the info by clicking : Clear History
3- Continue watching your animes normally
4- Enjoy the fact your mobile device now updates properly
5- Dance!!!

Ex.:
1- You last watch Naruto ep 350 on your iPad but for some reason, on your mobile device sticks to the last ep. you saw on PC (let's say ep 340).
2- When you clear history, it goes back to ep.1. Which is normal you just DELETED the HISTORY.
3- But you tell yourself: "hummppff, I wont watch all the ep. from 1 to 350, let's just continue normaly with episode 351."
4- You notice your iPad now display the next episode (352) as intended.
5- You're so happy you burst into dance and sing your favorite anime theme song. YAY!

Hope it helps!

This is Apple's Adaptive Streaming technology.
The quality is changing based on the strength of the signal you get.

But couldn't you fix/make a workaround by being able to select a quality in the settings? So for example you could select 720p and it would only stream the 720p file.

Yeah, it did fix the problem. I guess I was just taken aback at first. I know where I was for each series so I just went and streamed the last minute or so of the most recent watched episode and that got me working again. It was a bit of a pain but it is much better than having it not update. I was afraid I had to watch all of them again to get the Q caught up. As it turns out it was not a problem. Thanks for the help.

Im having a problem working and "seeing" the crunchyroll app. When the update kept closing down, i uninstalled it, went to the iapp store, reinstalled it, but when it started loading, the app disappeared and the iapp store won't let me try to install it again. I have the ipod touch 4.3.5 version and i have full membership as well. Will someone please help me? It'll be greatly appreciated.

The que still seems to not be updating for some animes on my iDevices (iPhone5, iPad 3rd Gen). Was wondering if there is any word on this issue. I know they pushed a fix for it but it doesnt seem to have coalesced thru the whole system. I have a suggestion to help with this issue. If we could get a manual button to say we have watched an episode it would be much appreciated.

If you clear your History it will start working again.
Unfortunately it will wipe the episode you were on in your queue.

I have the latest version of the iPad app (2.06), but clearing my history did not help. My queue and my history both refuse to update and now everything I have is stuck at episode 1 in the queue no matter how many times I watch a particular episode. I can only watch the same episode of a series so many times before I get sick of it....

Addendum: I can get my history to update if I watch the videos on my desktop computer. Watching episodes on my iPad does not update my viewing history.

And because I should have specified this in my last post:

1) Device type - iPad 2
2) OS version - iOS 6.0.1
3) App version: 2.06
4) Detailed description of the problem: iPad app will not update my history (or my queue) no matter how many times I watch an episode. However, when I watch episodes on my desktop with Firefox 16, my history is updated. I have made a point of letting the episodes run all the way to the end through the credits, but when the app brings up my queue and history again there is no indication that the episode I watched was saved in my history.
5) Steps to reproduce the problem...
- Watch a full episode on the iPad application to the very end and wait for the application screen to come back up.
- Go to queue and history.
- Note that history shows no record of the episode I just watched.
- Profit. Or not.
