4) Detailed description of the problem. - Any time I try to play any video, whether it's from my queue or a new anime, it just doesn't play. It has the loading icon repeating on a black screen. I tried clicking pause and then play again, but same thing happens.
5) Steps to reproduce the problem... - See above? I also tried removing the app and reinstalling it, but still the same thing. It happens on my PS3 too. The only way I can watch CR is on my computer now... which can be kinda annoying, cuz I wanna be able to watch... off the computer. :/

If you are trying to watch mature shows, you need to go to the following two links.

Set your birth date - http://www.crunchyroll.com/editprofile

Set the Mature Content Filter to "Show Mature Content" - https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=video

Those titles should now work. This has to be done because of Apple's and Sony's mature content policies.

Pretty sure the shows I was trying to watch wasn't mature, but I tried that just in case.

....

Well, that worked, somehow. Not sure why. Cause one of the shows was Digimon Tamers. Oh well, thanks a lot!

If you happened to try to play a mature title first, you need to restart the app. If you don't restart the app after getting the first black screen and temporary freeze, then no title will work.

If you tried a non-mature title first, it would play until you tried to go and play a mature title.

However, now that you have the mature content filter set to show mature content, you shouldn't have that issue anymore.

This seems like something that Crunchyroll should make more apparent as this seems like a daily occurrence with at least one person asking why they can't get certain titles to play.

don't know if you still have that problem, I had it too and what worked for me was clearing my watched histoy, log-out, then log in again, any anime you had in your queue will be back to ep 1 but it will solve both queue and history updates. Hope it works

I shall give it a go seems stupid I would have to do that, I haven't had the app long

I know, I recentrly bought my ipad not even a month ago, barely use the crunchyroll app on it, but stil got that problem, I contacted crunchyroll support and that's the solution they gave, still hope it worked

I had this issue before as well followed those steps to correct it and it worked. Unfortunately once again my history nor que will update so this solution is bunk at this time. :(

1) Device type - Ipad mini
2) OS version - 6.0.2
3) Version 2.08
4) Have a Ipad mini and iphone 5. Using airplay for a few apps. Crunchyroll is the only app where I can see difference in quality.
Iphone 5 does smooth corners while ipad mini has squares. Especially with Japanese letters. Doesn't make much sense.

Ive noticed that if you play a video and close it before it gets loaded and begins to play it will begin to play in background and when you try to open a new video on that time the app crashes.

My devices tried on:
iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1
iPad 2 Wifi iOS 6.0.1

mmm don´t know, actually what I tried was what Crunchyroll support told me, it fixed my problem, only thing I can say to you is to report via mail your situation, the app have many things that need to be fixed, I also noticed that video quality is lower on my ipad mini every anime looks weird, it was better like hd (I know ipad mini is not hd but still looked really good), also it takes too long to buffer the episode or seek even with good connection, hope they fix all these issues soon

2) OS version - 5.0.1
3) App version - 2.09
4) Hi, so I'm having a problem trying to watch anime on my I Phone 4s, every time I attempt to play one of the videos in my que or just attempting to watch them through the actual titles I receive an "Video Player error this operation could not be completed"and I don't know what I can do to fix the problem. Plz help as soon as possible I use this app daily and really need it to function again. Examples of animes i have tried naruto shippuden the newer episodes, the pet girl of sakurasou newest episode and total eclipse last episode out. BTW this site is awesome glad I am a member of something so epic.
(-5-) 1.) open crunchyroll app 2.) select my que or any title from the anime section 3.)click on the video you want to watch 4.)wait 5.) error message appears (No matter what anime title I try to watch it says the same thing)

P.S. I have tried removing app & reinstalling, turning phone off and back on. So I don't think that's the problem also I already have the mature content on but I don't think any of the titles I have tried are considered to be for Mature audiences only (I'm 21 and have been using this site since I was 18)

Hi, My Queue is not longer updating. It is stuck on old episodes. I had tried logging out, and restarting my ipad to no avail and then I noticed that is not updating on the website either. I will check my xbox when I get home to see that as well.

Help please

Cheers

We can also try deleting your history to see if that gives it a jog!

http://www.crunchyroll.com/home/history

(Warning : This will reset everything in your queue.)

I have the same setup and a similar issue. My queue is updated from the website and my roku but anything I watch from my iPad isn't reflected in the history on my queue. Is this a problem with the app or maybe a delay in the update process in general. I really don't want to clear my history.

Have the engineers figured out what may be causing this issue?

The problem of the iOS app not updating my queue has happened twice for me. Clearing the history fixes it, but having to do this every couple months isn't ideal.

1.) App version: 2.09
2.) Device type: IPhone 5
3.) Version: 6.0.2
4.) Steps to reproduce the problem: Basically I went to watch a show just recently and notice the app just disappeared!! from my video file I created on my iPhone 5. I had other videos in the file like Netflix, and those apps are still there. I never deleted the crunchyroll app. I went to the "app store" and did a search for the Crunchyroll app, and it shows that I can "open" it. But when I press "open" it does NOT open. WIERD!! @_@ the app is know where to be found on my iPhone 5.

Anyone else experienced this?!
