I have an iPod 2g and when I press play it says error loading your request and I have logged out and back in and if uninstall I won't be able to get the newest version. Maybe some has an older .ipa? Link or something?

Guys, I face a similar problem to this.

My question is, is the crunchyroll app region restricted? I live in Pakistan and having registered and downloaded the app for my ipad, the problem is that I cannot see most of the shows, meaning that the anime list is too short for me. Only 20 or so anime are available on my app and a lot of the popular ones are missing; there is no bleach, The world God only knows etc.

Yes, the same license restrictions that apply on the website for each series apply for all apps.

Devil Survivor 2 PV gives "Unable to load video" error on both my iPhone and iPad. Repeat attempts last night and this morning result in the same error.

iOS version: 6.1.3 on the iPad; 5.1.1 on the iPhone (I have my reasons)

Also, it's not showing up at all on my Kindle Fire (first noticed it was missing from my queue even though new shows I added at the same time last night do, and then looked and saw that it's not in the alphabetical listing of all anime either.

Are you having server problems? Videos are not showing up after clicking on the show and will not load. Also having problems putting into queue.
I have premium membership and latest version of IOS and CR.

I can access episodes from the website but again, won't show up on the app.

Update: Nothing will now load. My wifi is stable and other video site work fine.

OK......FIXED! Had to delete app and reinstall. Working now. Don't know why it glitches out but anyway ......Nevermind!

Hi Guys, I'm new here so I dun know if this is the right place to post my app problem, I am using a iPad 3 with iOS version 5.1.1 and I always get low res version of the animation, i will need to pause the show and unpause to get the hi-res quality afterwhich the problem starts to happen again after 5 mins. Please help and advise

Hi thanks for your reply, I am using WiFi, my router is ASUS black knight. I was previously at iOS 5 when I had this problem, I upgraded to 6.3 last night and it got worst

Personally, I like the app except for a few minor things.

1) I can't find a next video button. This is probably my biggest annoyance since sometimes I forget which episode I'm on and the queue doesn't update which video I'm on so i have to search this 24-366 episode anime for the episode I want. Which is even more annoying when for whatever reason the anime is multiple seasons and you can't remember which season you are in. (I've been watching a lot of anime in bulk).
Even without any problems, it is annoying to have to click on the done, then wait for the queue to update which can take a few seconds, then click on the next video (and hope i don't accidentally click on a different anime/episode).
I think the video should have some button to go to the next video either at the end of the video or where it is in the browser version.

2) No forum access that I can see. Sometimes I just want to check out the forum, look at my inbox, read the site news, or whatever. There is nothing that simply says: News or Forum.

3) Quality control. Let us choose the quality like with the browser version. Have an auto feature, but also let us choose if we want to use a specific quality. Like if I want it to do HD but no smoothing, no subtitle smoothing, etc. Or SD with everything else on.

Related to this, there needs to be a way to set it to either adapt to be low quality (what it is currently doing) or automatically pause to let it catch up. Some people might prefer the former, others the later.

As for it not working, I have my way of forcing it to work though I can't for various reasons recommend it to anyone else.


It should be noted that I have an ipad 4th gen.



Oh, a few problems I noticed:
Video sometimes gets 'fuzzy' and looks like really low quality (like lower than the site's SD quality without video/subtitle smoothing) (though this seems to be the case for any sort of streaming video on any system). This seems to be easily solved by exiting the video then opening it back up.

I think this is the same problem several people are having. I'm on wifi.

Sometimes while playing a video, the video will suddenly skip. The time will seem correct but the video will be incorrect (like I'm at 05:12 if i open the popup menu to see what time i'm at. But the video shown doesn't occur until around say 15:39. And even if i go back a few seconds/minutes, I can't see the actual video until I exit the video and resume it.

The queue sometimes doesn't update if you end it right as soon as the ED starts or a moment before. (Like with Bleach, the To be continued point). Sometimes even a few seconds after the ED starts.

I don't know if it is possible with crunchyroll's technology, but it would be nice if after leaving, it returns to the same location, not a a few seconds to almost literally a minute back.

PROBLEMS WITH APP IN IPAD

I haven't used my iPad version in a long time, I tried to use it today (22abril) and the app doesn't start. It looks like it enters and it just goes away .

I deleted the app and downloaded it again. No update available so it is the new version.
iPad: 4.3.3

hi, I encountered some performance problems again. this has happened now few times, so decided to write about it.

to me, it looks like time of day realted problem, which may mean that server is just overloaded. at times of evening, crunchyroll (the ipad app) seems to slow down, sometimes below the point it'a actually watchable. at the moment i?m not able to watch videos as it tkaes to long to buffer, the ahows few seconds and again buffers many seconds.... my connection is 100/10 mostly idling, so that is not the reason.

during day, the video usually works with little or no visible buffering. I'm located in finland, so utc+3.

(sorry for shabby message, i'm writing this with this cutting board)
