I think some recent changes to our encoding system should have fixed the problem that caused this A/V sync issue so I'll re-encode episode 1 by the end of today and, if it works, I'll re-encode the rest.


I've set the rest of Gintama to re-encode so they should all be fixed within the next few days.

I believe iOS 4.2 had spotty support for Airplay which causes many apps to only stream the audio but supposedly the Beta version of iOS 4.3 resolves this issue. So we'll be looking into this and providing support for it.

iOS 4.2.1

I've found the larger problem i'm having. I cannot play more than 30 seconds at a time with the app, if I'm using my bluetooth headphones. If i use the speaker out the no problem. I'll check other apps but don't recall issue affecting youtube. Any ideas?

Edit: appears to affect vevo and youtube

The video speed up at 1:17 and stopped at 1:22. At 1:22, the video goes back to normal. But at around 1:43, the audio and video went out of sync. The only way to correct the A/V sync is to pause between 1:22 and 1:43 and play. Here's the video proof of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N1ecKILOVo

Update:
I found that my iPad plays fine with my Bluetooth Headphone if I switch my router from NG-mixed to just G. Not sure which is to blame the router or iPad's N support. Leaning to router.

Been looking around in this thread about the iPad issue, where it buffers and stops after 15-20 sec. Don't see the use of a streaming video app that forces me to buffer the whole epi ;)

But back to the problem, I have seen some posts about it being the router and some secure mode. Is there any proof of this or just speculation?

The videos timing is off with the picture and sound and also the subtitles. Fix it please.

4) I have an Premium Membership. My problem is some of the shows with stars won't play on my iPhone. It then asks me to sign up for a membership. This is only some of the shows. Other shows with stars play fine. Today (February 2, 2011) I am unable to watch Kaasan -Moms Life episode 88. But I have no problem watching it on my computer. This problem has occurred with other shows in the past. I was never able to watch them on my phone untill the star was removed.

5)- Log in to CR app.

I'm still unable to reproduce the problem on an iPad so you might want to restart your iPad.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

It currently takes up to 3 hours for the episode to show up as playable through iOS devices but we are working on that.

I have an iPhone 4. Been having minor problems, like ads get stuck etc, but I just exit the app and relaunch not a big deal. Really love the app btw.
HOWEVER, I was watching Jumong episode 35 and someone called, so I picked up. Usually when this happens it'll just go back to the video and it'll keep on going without a problem. THIS TIME, it went black. So I exited and relaunched and it directed me to the home screen but it's blank. I see the crunchyroll logo up top the rest is blank. After a couple of seconds it crashes....

iPhone details:
Version 4.1
Using wifi
CR updated

Things I tried:
Soft reset, Hard reset
Deleting and reinstalling. Deleting, reset, reinstall, reset. No go.
Restore from backup, no go.

Issue keeps occurring. Perhaps the problem has been states before this post, so I'm sorry. If you have some sort of solution, please PM me. Thank you!

I love the app though.

UPDATE********* FOR SOME REASON AFTER HOURS OF WAITING, IT STARTED WORKING AGAIN...SORRY FOR THE USELESS POST.

Crunchyroll app AND Naruto app
Downloaded a few moments ago.

I only downloaded the Naruto app to see if the problem was consistent, and it is. I have had the Crunchyroll app for several months, but today for some reason it shuts down, won't get past the initial startup screen. I am typing this from the iPad now. I tried shutdown/restart a few times, uninstall/reinstall a few times, but the app still won't load past the startup screen with the Crunchyroll icon.

Ok just yesterday this app was working fine for me, then today I tried launching the app and all it shows is just the cruncyroll logo. I've tried reinstalling it, turning off my phone and trying it again, but still no luck.

Also on another note, the last ep of Skip Beat was out of sync

iPod Touch 4gen. The app freezes as it's loading with the logo displayed above. Worked fine a few days ago.

UPDATE::::: so like after 2 hours it stared working, then like 5min after that, froze, and then started working again YAY! But ep 25 of skip beat is still out of sync.
