I click on the icon and it's all fab
When I pick a series it's all fine
But when I pick an episode once the ad pops up for the free trial it just crashes

I just tried this out on our iPad 2 that's on 5.1 and there is no issue.
Can you tell me specifically what video you are trying, or if this happens on all videos?

Is it popping up the box where you can click 'No Thanks' and this is where it crashes, or do you click 'No Thanks' and then it crashes?
Can you tell me what state or country you reside in?

Mourestu pirates - every time I try episode 9 and most of the time on the others it crashes
I tried it with others and it still crashes after I click no thanks

I think this has to do with the Ad Feed.

Country: UK
App Version: Most recent (downloaded today)

Just to note that I'm also experiencing this problem: Any episode I try, up until I click "No, Thanks" on the trial ad, everything is fine. Then, after a few seconds of black screen, the app closes. Hope there's a fix soon!

Ah, thanks for that!
Still get the ad to join (don't know if that should still be appearing) but videos seem to work now! I'll keep going through this one episode to see any problems, but 5 mins in and it's all playing smoothly.

Not sure that you should still be getting the ad.
Maybe try logging out and logging in?

Hey. Ever since I updated to iOS 5 i am not able to get notifications from cruncyroll. I am currently on iOS 5.1 on the iPhone 4 and i encountered the same problem on the iPod touch 4G. Can you guys update the application so it actually supports iOS 5 cause the last time this app was updated was in July of 2011....

I don't know if this has been covered or not, but is there any plans in adding a news feed to the iOS app? Part of my use of this site is for the news, and not getting that in the app is a tad annoying (Aye, I can still get the news through the mobile browser, but frankly I'd prefer to have access to it in one place instead of having to use safari for one small portion of the site.)

I haven't seen this after a quick perusal of the thread, but is there any future plans on adding the user queue into the iOS app? It makes it nice and easy to keep my place on the crazy long running shows. I see it is on Roku already, now waiting on an updated app.
