I get the crashes that others have reported. I've been watching Mouse and Another, and I've found the iPad switches the video about 5 minutes from the end to a different video stream. I think it's the start of the same episode. When I watch on Roku or my PC, I don't see this issue. This is a known issue on devices running OS 5. You can find work around instructions in the 'Known Issues' thread. |

Is there a chance of an upgrade to your streaming protocol. I find when watching videos on a less than perfect cell signal that instead of it just pausing and slowly queuing it will start looping by dropping back to the beginning while the actual visual of the bar at the bottom still shows it moving along from the spot it cut out. This can be very frustrating as I can not watch anything without a perfect signal it seems.

There are directions on how to stymie this in the 'Known Issues' thread. Apologies for the inconvenience & we're working on resolving the issue. |

Any news on the ipad3 problem of being unable to select anything. The app is useless on my new iPad and it's holding up me giving my old one to someone.

So, the Internet went down at work on my break yesterday, so I once again decided to test the waters with watching over 3G on the Crunchyroll app.
...It made me wish I hadn't bothered. I've noticed that watching over 3G seems to be incredibly hit-and-miss (mostly miss, sadly). Once or twice I've run an episode over 3G and it's played flawlessly, but far more often than not, the video will play in good quality for the best part of 20-30 seconds before degrading to this; In addition to the picture quality being pretty much unwatchable, the sound quality also takes a massive hit to the point where everything sounds tinny, grainy and echoey. I did a few tests this morning to try and see if I could spot any patterns. This weeks as well as last weeks Naruto episodes ran fine (at least for the duration of testing, 1-2 minutes per episode), as did the most recent Gintama. However the three most recent SKET Dance episodes all switched to the very poor quality within thirty seconds or less. I alternated back and forth to make sure I wasn't just on poor signal at times, and stayed in the same place. I don't know if it varies on a video-by-video basis, since it's clearly nothing to do with signal strength. That said, I have had trouble watching Gintama over 3G in the past (usually on the day of simulcast), but seeing as yesterday's Naruto was fine whereas yesterday's SKET Dance was still poor this morning despite airing earlier makes me think it's not really to do with how new the video is, either. It does seem like SKET Dance in particular is affected moreso, though. |

Señores de Showgate, Latinoamérica también es un buen mercado para sus series.

Actually I was unable to use Crunchyroll at all on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1. Never got any response when posting about it, so I just figured I'd not upgrade to premium. However, when I got an iPad 3 I tried reinstalling it and lo and behold; it worked! No more crash on play. It seems like the Crunchyroll app is somewhat flaky/finicky. Perhaps a remove/reinstall would help? It didn't on my old devices, but my problem was different to yours, since the app would just always crash after clicking "no" to premium upgrade. My iPad 3 is using the backup from my iPad 1, so it seems to not be a settings issue in my case. I'm just glad it finally works. |

Hi. Is anyone experiencing Spanish subs on the new naruto ep on an iPad? Is there any way to resolve this? I hoped that it would be fixed but nothing has changed. Contacted crunchy roll on two occasions but no response as of yet. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance. |

I downloaded the app on my iPhone 4S and wgenever the eps hit the 7-ish minute mark it jumps to the beginning of the episode again. How the heck am I supposed to watch anime if I can only get 1/3 of the way into the episode? I use the app because I used to get better streaming on phones than on the website. I never had this problem on my droid, why do I have to put up with it in my new phone?
Edit: please note this happens on both my 3G anywhere and wifi at home. So this isnt due to poor 3G signals. Second edit: I have tried shutting down the app and going back to the video. I have tried to both watch again from the beginning and to jump to the part where it stopped playing. Neither method works. If I start from the beginning then it goes back at the same spot as before and if I jump to the spot where it cut off within 30 seconds it shoots back to the beginning so your "solutions for known issues" don't work either. |
