Just downloaded the app. After I logged in the app will not stay open even time I bring it up the app just closes. I have iOS 5.1.1. Can any one help?

Can you please try the following.

Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Click "applications." You'll see that the Crunchyroll app is still there.
Delete the app (right click, delete, move to recycle bin)
Sync the phone with the computer - this deletes the Crunchyroll files that may still be on your phone.
Once it syncs, disconnect, go in the app store, and redownload

I went thought the steps you laid out. I tried watch a video without login and it worked but when I logged in, it did the same thing. It will not stay up. The left side of the screen loads then it cuts out. I have no idea what the problem is.

I can't playback anything at all. I just downloaded the latest update. I've tried uninstalling. Reinstalling. Logging out. Logging back in. Nothing works.

I don't know what just happened, but it suddenly started working again. I've been switching out between the app and this website. Don't know if task switching had anything to do with it (double clicking home button). At any rate, thanks and keep up the good work guys!

Is anyone else experiencing this -- history on my iPad doesn't seem to be updating. Which is fine, I don't care about the history itself personally, but it means my queue is behind (for example, the last episode I watched on my computer is episode 6, then I watched 7-11 on my iPad but my queue still says the next episode to watch is episode 7, without an indication that 7-11 have been watched)

Not a huge deal, just wanted to throw it out there

which iPad are you using? I'm using the iPad 2 IOS 5.1.1 and my history is updating fine (though it takes a while for it to load) whenever I watch something and it also updates my queue here on the CR website.

I actually asked them that at a panel at Otakon was told it would be relayed to the developers. But on the other hand with all the issues the iOS app seems to have can we get an update on the release of the update that was mentioned quite a few posts back please.

The new build of the app is in the approval process with Apple.
At this point we're just waiting to get approved.
I can not give a date, because Apple can deny approval and give us things to fix. (Which has happened a few times already with the build.)

Don't think you can do that through the app, upload avatar through website only
