Same issue (every anime), but on IOS 6 (was also happening on IOS 5)

Just a tip for those with the same problem: no need to turn off and on your phone when you're done, just double-press the home button and hold your finger on the crunchy app icon that will appear at the bottom. Then tap the "-" sign and you're good for another anime.

every video I've tried so far stops playing after 3 minutes approx. and kicks me back to the episode selection screen.
have deleted and reinstalled twice to no avail.
also my free trial won't activate but I don't really care about that, I can deal with ads.

1) Device type - iPad 2
2) OS version - iOS 6.0
3) App version - 2.01 (according to the App Store)
4) Detailed description of the problem - Every time an ad is displayed on the app (i can deal with aps, no worries) the episode im trying to watch (Sword Art Online) keeps going back to the start of the episode. Have been doing this for episodes 5, 6, and 7 so far. Also The ad shows up at the beginning and right after the opening song... Not sure if thats how its supposed to go, if so, then its no big deal... Also, if we are going to have ads for free members, can we have different ones rather than just one? L.L. Bean is cool and all, just, well, after hearing it so many times in a span of 2 hours it gets kind of annoying... =)
5) Steps to reproduce the problem - i have actually tried this with Naruto, Knight in the Area, and Hunter X Hunter as well.. ive tried reinstalling the app, rebooting my iPad, even reformating my iPad (the only reason why i have it is for anime and such). All i do is play the video and then after the ads, it just restarts. Not sure if anyone has posted about this already, just wanted to throw it out there.

AirPlay doesn't work with the app and the new iOS 6. The ad plays properly but from then on the actual video itself plays on the apple device while the audio plays off the Apple TV. I tried airplaying it with the latest iPad and an iPhone 4; neither one worked.

Thanks in advance for fixing the bug!

Even a service the size of Hulu Plus (which has 15 times as many paid subscribers as CR) has that problem. The problem is simply not enough advertisers.

I can recall that seeing the same ad again and again while watching Kurokami over the span of less than 2 days is what prompted me to purchase a premium membership, and I've never been tempted to drop back to free since then.

With Hulu, I usually either lean back and close my eyes during the repeating commercials, or if I'm tired of hearing it instead, I hit the mute button.

No worries. just hope the bug i have, might get looked at.. its hard to take screens of it, ill try and see if i can get a video up... but it bugs me to have to scrub from the start to where i last watched off after an ad...

ok this is odd.. the app works fine on my phone,but I still have the problem on my iPad.. at approx 3 minutes into ANY episode, playback stops and I get dropped back to the episode selection screen.. is this a known fault? is anyone else having this problem? is anything been done about it? does anyone but me care?

ok I take that back.. it doesn't work properly on my phone, it just works a little better than on my pad.. still can't watch a whole episode at once without playback issues (namely the stopping and going back to the episode selection screen)

Exact same problem on same ios. But on a iPhone 3GS. This is happening to any show/episode I watch. Deleting/restarting app doesn't do a thing.

I just started having this issue as well... When I played the latest episode of SAO I saw the first ad, the beginning sequence, the opening song, another ad, then the app froze on a black screen... But on a brighter note I saw 3 different ads this time... Lol

2) OS version - 3.1.2
3) App version - I installed it two and a half weeks ago.
4) Detailed description My ipod went into recovery mode yesterday after two and a half weeks of watching anime just fine. After getting it out of recovery, the app would not work anymore so I deleted it thinking I would re-install. Suddenly it said I needed iOS 4.3. If i was able to install it before why can't I do it now? What happened in those two and a half weeks?

Hi there, had the same problem as above, and tried the solution.... Well it doesn't work.
Is this going to be fixed soon? I was planing on becoming premium member, but not until this is fixed.

1)ipod touch 4th generation

3)2.01 (was installed september 11th)
4)The problem is that when I try to watch the video, the screen blacks out aftera few minutes. When I exit the app and re enter it, (after it blacking out) the video will just start over from the beginning. Then when I try to exit the video by using the 'done' button, it won't let me exit.

Device: iPhone 4s and new iPad
iOS: both devices are 6.0
Version: latest version (unistalled and reintalled on both devices.)
Problem: I can't get the tv out to work on both deviced with either the component connection or the digital AV connection ( it does kind of work for both with the digital AV connection but its just mirroring whatever's on the screen for both devices) These connections both worked on iOS 5.1.1 but after updating to 6.0, it doesn't seem to work. I do have a Premium account and I am logged in... are there any setting to adjust for a TV out connection?

I have ipad2 with latest os 6.0 and the application won't play a thing. Takes 10 minutes after choosing a video for it to show up. When it does, it won't even play. Gave up after trying to make it work for an hour and fired up my laptop to watch episodes. Prefer my iPad since smaller and easier to watch in bed but the between the latest OS update and CR update the application is worthless. Please fix.
