Not trying to be a stiff or anything but if you have your iOS device jailbroken, know that while most apps will probably work on a jail broken device, but don't expect devs to be trying to make them compatible for them; while it might be a problem that everybody's having (in which situation the devs should try to fix it) there probably won't be an update for JB compatibility. I jailbroke my devices a couple times in the past, but I lost sight of what I liked about it, so I went back to official firmware.

So my iPhones estimated delivery date is ~2 days from now, but I didn't see "iPhone 5 support" in the apps change list last night, though I did see "iOS 6 support". Anybody with an iPhone 5 that knows if it supports the longer screen in the new update? Sorry if I missed it somewhere earlier in this thread.

Thanks for the update, but the app's still useless for my purposes until your "engineers" reactivate the video-out via cable. I used to use this app to watch episodes on my old CRT TV through a composite cable and since the last two updates, that function is disabled.

I'm really considering cancelling my subscription guys, come on and throw me a bone here.

What're you doing when it crashes? I have the same device but I haven't had too many crashes besides when I press the logout button.

Can anyone help me i tried to download the crunchyroll app but this keep poping up "this app is incompatible with this ipod touch" This never happened before the version 2.01 came out

iPad 2 and iPhone 4

App version 2.02 (October 1st Update)

AirPlay no longer plays video on the TV, only the sound. The video continues on the device.
Locking the device still stops the AirPlay output on the TV.

I have logged out and tried reinstalling the app with no effect.

On my iPhone 3gs with iOS 6, updated to the latest app version, streaming via wifi.

When trying to play a normal anime episode, the ad works fine, then the app crashes with no error message as soon as the first frame of the video is buffered. When playing a PV, a message saying 'Error: video cannot be loaded at this time' with retry and cancel buttons underneath. Retry will instantly duplicate the error window and cancel goes to the previous screen (without closing the app like the regular episode crash).

I tried deleting and reinstalling the app from scratch.

Same problem.

I tried shutting the phone fully off and restarting it.

Same problem.

I love that this app exists, but really need to stop updating it regularly. Crunchyroll has a pretty poor history of botching new releases, from what I've seen. Give it another go, boys.

Well, it seems like the iPad app is performing nicely now with no adjustments on my part. I'll guess tech support did some fine tuning and got their servers to work with the new app. Credit where credit is due.

Same here, I was pretty excited before the update because i was able to watch using component cables. Viera doesn't have a Crunchy roll app for me to DL. While i do enjoy supporting, I enjoy watching the vids using component cables. Or if you guys make a Viera App id be happy too
