How about we all just agree that GheyDeer's penis fills the gap better than any tampon?

don't believe it fulfills the size requirement. The vag would be leaking as hell

Of course it's much larger than the average penis.

Tears and rips are inevitable.

well played....I'll be watchin you

Sure you can watch.
But we're not doing a Devil's Threesome.

I wanted to say something but i think this speaks for itself

I was 11 when i started my period..
I've used tampons before but i would prefer pads because tampons are uncomfortable for me.

Tampons are good to use for swimming when you one your period :)
only reason why i would use em.

I had my period when I was 13. I am 20 now. =)

My periods lasts only 3-4 days. Not very heavy flow just normal...I have used tampons before but I had this very stong pelvic contraction after a few attempts I stopped using tampons and switched to pads back. =)
So yeah...heh heh.

I had my period when I was only 10 for about 7 days. And I never use tampons(Although I'm curious as to how it feels to use it)I only use pads. They're comfortable enough...

I've never used a tampon before.
It's not that I'm afraid to, but my mother is the one who buys this stuff and she only use pads

I buy panty liners from Always and on their slogan is "Have a happy period"

are you fucking insane? THERE'S NO SUCH THING!

My T.O.M this month was probably my UNhappiest yet, I felt fat as fuck even though I'm in great physical condition, I wanted to claw my friend's eyes out and showering twice a day is just a pain in the ass! The pain was excruciating to the point where I threw my hot water bottle out the fucking window and watched a car run it over! Took painkillers, FAIL. Now that its over for another month I can safely say have an UNHAPPY period you idiots.

Good brand though...

I'm 30.
I started my period at 8. Yeah, really young try being a 3rd grader with your period.
When I first started my period ran 3 days, I barely noticed it no cramps nothing. Always was my favorite product and I wore pads till I was 17. at 19 I had a miscarriage and while a "teen" pregnancy I was married. after that my period changed to 5 days and a little bit of cramping nothing major.
21- I had my son. This enacted major changes I went from 5 days to 7-10 days w/ cramping, migraines (these actually weren't caused by having an overactive toddler), and I even ended up with sinus problems that only occurred during my period.
29 - it lasts now 14+ days. Just hte past 2 months but I've been usin soy based products which can have a major effect on hormone levels so if you drink soy milk, eat tofu, etc and you're having heavy and long periods consider doing without the soy for several months to see if it makes a difference in your cycle. I happen to have a sensitive to soy so I've got to spend a few months uncomfortable in order to deal with getting everything back in balance.

Product wise - I use cloth now. They're cheaper. You can easily just throw them in the washer ( I recommend rinsing first or washing themin their own load) They last 5-10 years with proper care, they don't mess up landfills, they don't put chemicals like bleach near your skin. Heck if you're handy with a needle like I am make your own you can buy cheap cotton, fleece, flannel or use old towels so you can recycle a lot of different fabrics for them. Patterns are available all over the place. I like luna pads when I'm not making my own. Plus, you can use a small make up bag that has three or four zippered pockets and a ziplock bag if you have to change.

I personally, can't stand having to change away from home. I don't go many places these days that make that a consideration but if you do go to like school or what not and use cloth just use a heavier flow pad. They aren't bulky like disposable pads many of them are completely flat and you don't notice them after the first couple of times. They are easy to adjust because they just snap or button around the underside of your panties. I don't think they make them for thongs cause well there isn't much they can snap around but they work well for boy shorts and standard underwear. they don't move once you get everything situated but you can move them around until you find the perfect spot for you rather than having to deal with disposables where you can't adjust them and have to throw them out or you find they don't cover everything. Cloth pads do come with PUL linings they make no noise and they are completely waterproof so you don't have to worry about leaking through.

You can have unscented or scented - depends on your detergent do not use fabric softener with them. It ruins the absorbancy. They make these cute little cloth squares you simply fold them in and use the snap to hold them in the little square. They don't hide in your pocket unfortunately and you can't throw them away but most girls won't look odd carryin a make up bag with make up in one of the three or four pockets to the bathroom. Just take a few minutes to touch up lipgloss or whatever and no one is going to know the difference if it bothers you.

Personally, while I don't like changing away from home it has more to do with not knowing who's been using the facilities before me. I don't like public restrooms. Other than that I don't have a problem with people knowing. I'm a woman, this is part of it and I love being a woman. If I didn't have a son to take care of. I'd go off once a month somewhere a hotel, one of my families other homes and spend the time meditating and just enjoying the fact I"m a girl.
