What kind of question is that? What's with peoples tendency to post "is it ok to [insert randomness]?"-questions on these forums? It's littering the whole General forum.

Seriously... and yes, it's OK. Everything should be OK as long as it doesn't restrict another persons freedom in any way. It's their sexuality and it's not like they're forcing it on to you.

This is one of those questions its pointless to argue about. People are too set on their ways and beliefs to change. Personally i dont see a problem with being gay nor understand why it is even an issue. sexual orientation or identity is no more a choice than a person's eye color or height.

Whether 'ok or not', it is generally a disposition certain individuals have towards the same gender.
And in my experience and study, a certain degree of homosexuality and heterosexuality are necessary.

After all, your first friends are usually the same gender as yourself. If you care about them even a little bit, that's homosexuality.
If you get a lover of the opposite sex, whether you engage in sexual intimacy or not, that's heterosexuality.
Colleagues at work are of all genders. Would you only speak to the opposite sex to express your heterosexuality? Would you studiously avoid becoming friends with the same sex, even though becoming socially intimate with them is an expression of homosexuality?

Social mores are such silly things, and they only get more confusing when you have no clear definitions of concepts like, 'love' and 'friendship'.

Rather than worrying about what other people think is right, do what you feel is right for you. You attract that which suits you best usually.

Well it's not in their genetics so technically it's not what you would consider "natural". Because gay people can't really reproduce with each other (don't mention exceptions, I get that there are many surrogate options and whatever but it's not actually 2 homosexuals reproducing, unless the donor or surrogate is homosexual) so they can't have any offspring which would mean that being a homosexual isn't hereditary.
On the other hand, I do believe that you become gay because of your environment and because of many psychological factors. So you can say that people don't choose to be homosexual because their environment made them that way, but please don't say "it's in their genes" or "it's biological" because if it's in your genes then it's a mutation...

I'm not against homosexuality just so you know, I mind my own business ^^

well actually it's really fine to be a gay.. just make sure you do ur things in a proper place..
in our country most of the gays are noisy.flirts.whore. and scandalous.. but still not all the gays are like that.. beside's gay's are like that because of the people who say or do bad things to them.. they are acting strong so no one would be able to hurt them again...

PS: I HATE GAYS" especially the gay i was talking about...

but i have gay friends too... and they are cool to hang out with. ^_^
