I don't think I hate anything that I haven't given a chance, and most anime are at least ok in my opinion.

If I actually hate something, it's because I invested time in it, watched all or some of it, and felt it unworthy of that effort. So no I don't hate anything I haven't seen. It's pretty dumb to say you hate something without having even tried watching it. I find it acceptable if you avoid it because you know it has content you find.offensive or is a genre you despise, though even with that there's often exceptions to the rule.

I will generally avoid:
1. Things I've read are excessively depressing (I generally don't feel like subjecting myself to them too often.)

2. Shounen fighting shows (Generally they're too long and tend to fall apart or get repetitive. I usually watch the shorter ones though or will continue watching if I've started it and it's sufficiently entertaining.)

3. Magical Girl shows (Not really a fan of the genre though there's some exceptions)

Hating something you don't know is like hating aliens... ehmmmmm well food is easier to compare to

I have watched some anime that have seemed strange at first, and most of those times it gets better, characters, story or plot, somethings improve, in other words:
If it is horrible to begin with it can only become better or stay the same
While an average anime can go both ways

People that don't watch the entire anime are not entitled to decide on if it is good or bad, they just quit when the going got tough
Exception would be anime that go over 50 episodes and has not yet stopped airing

No, I don't hate anime without watching it even if others say it is bad, do they know what I like better then myself? No they don't.

There are some I do avoid because I find them uninteresting though

I greatly disliked Queen's Blade. It was really a waste of time to watch the first episode. I will put Panty and Stocking in the same boat, even though I didn't finish the first episode. It got boring extremely quickly.

Naruto? Bleach? IDK, they just seem like a waste of effort. And of 200 hours, coughcough. -__-

Anyone who hates on Durarara, Prince of Tennis or Kuroshitsuji without having seen it... I pity them They're masterpieces even if they start slow.

Don't see the point of hating something I've not watched. I've not watched Kodomo no Jikan, and while I find what I've read about it rather unpleasant, I see no reason to *hate* it. If Durarara (which I've yet to watch properly) is anything like Baccano, it's surely twisted genius and I shall love it.

One Piece. For me a large part of the experience of watching anime is the art work and character designs. And I don't care at all for One Piece's stuff. For example, I love Ikki Tousen, not a very good show, but I love the character designs(for obvious reasons.....). Basically, I'll watch crap if the art work is there.
