1. I enjoyed this show because of the plot.
2. I've never seen another anime before that involved a mailman or an organization that delivered mail.
3. I like characters that aren't self absorbed by their own problems. Lag is a compassionate person and because of that he can cry for them. he feels their pain, he feels their joy and honestly until Vash I hadn't seen any other characters like that. Not that I'm comparing the billion double dollar typhoon to Lag.

And that's why. My opinion.

I'm sorry I just can't bring myself to watch a show about a glorified mailman! I took a peek at the first episode essentially it's about a guy who rides his bike and delivers packages... Seriously?!?!?!?!?!?!

So, you hate it based on a "peek" at one episode? To find it uninteresting, or to dislike it, I can understand (though I think it's great!) but how can you hate it based on one episode?

It has no Pokemon (or Pokemon-like creatures, unless you count Steak ) in it, the protagonist isn't trying to catch 'em all, it's set in a totally different world with totally different characters and a totally different plot. Other than that, it's just like Pokemon :)

It's okay~ ... I like watching it. Plus, I don't watch that much anime nowadays -- I have 3 series I'm watching, that's all.

I like this anime, mainly because of Gauche. <3
Lag does cry a lot, but it doesn't bother me like it does to others, I hate when people act like they'll kill themselves over it.
&When is Niche going to finally cook Steak? Haha~

I definitely can't hate the show, but I've slacked off on watching it a bit until it starts to reach some more interesting developments. I'm somewhat into an action phase right now as well. So I'll have a bunch of episodes saved up for a rainy day.

Basically, in admiration of the man who delivered him to his Aunt (after his mother was kidnapped), a young boy becomes a Letter Bee (title given to Postmen in this setting). He soon learns that the man he admired has vanished and is assumed to have abandoned his post.

The Setting is fantastic, this is not earth. This is a world without a sun, lit only by an artificial sun located above the Capital city. The farther you are from the capital the less light you get. Letters are the only way for most people to communicate. Transportation is mostly horse drawn (...ok animal drawn) carriage.

Most importantly are the Gaichuu. Giant almost mechanical looking insects that feed off people's heart (not the heart in your chest, more like.. memory and emotion.) The only weapon that can kill them is the gun used by Letter Bees which uses heart as ammunition. If a Letter Bee isn't careful they whittle away at their memories and emotions until nothing is left. Needless to say travel between towns is too dangerous for most people, increasing the importance of letter carriers.

The series itself is a little slow. Most episodes are stand alone stories associated with different letters the boy has to deliver but there are a lot of mysteries that slowly start to get explored.

What happened to Lag's Mother (who was kidnapped and taken to the capital)
What happened to Gauche (the man who delivered Lag to his aunt and whom Lag admires)
What are the Gaichuu?
What is Nitch (Lag's Dingo, a bodyguard that helps protect a Letter Bee)
Why dose the revolutionary organization Reverse seek to overthrow the government?
Why are they stealing Letters?
What are "those who could not become spirit"?
Why dose Sylvette's soup taste so horribly horribly bad?
What happened on the day of the Flicker (when the artificial sun went out)?

As I mentioned before the first 2 episodes are Prologue; the story of Gauche delivering Lag from his Mother's house to the town where his aunt lives. The real story starts episode 3 and introduces Nitch. The Lag and Nitch combo (+ Steak) is so much fun

It's "meh", I don't hate it, but it gets awfully boring without Gauche and pretty lame when he keeps whining.

if u guys are saying this anime isn't worth watching, then u guys are badly mistaken ~

yeah, i know Lag is annoying when he cries, but come on he's a lil'kid ~

if u don't like the anime, then i suggest u read the manga cuz it's farther ahead than the anime and it's very good ~

i've read the latest chapter already, and i'm dying for the next chapter!!!

Agreed, the manga is better. I only read up to chapter 49 thought, and if the spoiler is true... Then wow, I need to read it again, I stopped after a while.
