I was very much expecting something else, though.

This one is long, and mostly targeted at guys, but I highly suggest everyone read this.

I don't agree with everything on this list, but there is some seriously good stuff here.

My favorite life hack is Aloe Vera.

Got a cut, burn or skin condition you want to treat? Give Aloe Vera gel a try, it works on almost any of them. It closes wounds, reduces swelling and fights infection.

Got heart burn, allergies, high blood sugar or just about any other problem with your digestive system from your teeth to your intestines? Give Aloe Vera juice a try, it'll treat most of those too. Aloe Vera juice is a taste that takes some getting used to. Mix it in about a 1:1 ratio with your favorite citrus juice; some juices mix better than others. The standard "dose" is 2oz every few hours but you can ramp it up as needed. The only problem with drinking it straight is the taste.

As with any natural treatment, the more pure the source the better the results. If it's bogged down by chemical preservatives and other additives, the effectiveness is greatly weakened. There's nothing more pure than growing your own plants but there are a few vendors that do a good job of keeping out any unnecessary additives. As far as plants go, Aloe Vera is fairly easy to take care of and mature rather quickly.

Absolutely avoid getting the juice with anything more than citrus juice as an additive. There's no advantage to any of the chemical preservatives. The preservatives aren't good for you and you're better off just buying a fresh bottle of juice every couple weeks than relying on a preservative. If you're that concerned about the cost, raise your own plants and juice them yourself.

Something else to note about the juice is that one version is called inner fillet and the other is whole leaf. What's the difference? There's a part of the leaves (just under the skin) that acts as a powerful laxative. Obviously, whole leaf includes that part and inner fillet does not. So, you might want to keep this in mind. It's also important to know for anyone who decides to juice their own plants.

Most of the gels are loaded up with too much crap. Some of the additives help with specific applications at the cost of eliminating other potential uses. A more pure version of the gel can be applied to open wounds or even consumed without harm. However, due to the additives, most versions of the gel would do a lot more harm than good applied to an open wound and consuming it could make you very sick. So, be very cautious about which version you get and how you use it. Read the ingredients and check the recommended usage. If it warns you against using it a certain way, definitely take heed of it. Don't automatically assume a gel will be good for any usage beyond what the label recommends. A lot of the gels have some rather nasty additives that really limit the usefulness.

I didn't list all of the uses because there's a lot of them and I don't really know all of them. Google is your friend. This is a plant everyone should try to be more familiar with.

TLDR; stop being lazy and read the whole thing because you just missed something important.

I didn't realize it was against rules. I just saw that my first posted pic was like 5x bigger than all 4 combined in the other post, so I figured the bandwidth or whatever would still be less if I had more.

if I posted 1 img that was 500kb, then I posted 5 100kb images that were 1/5th the size, does that make a difference somehow in the entry?

Also didn't know double posting was bad, I just thought that both images were too epic to go on the same post, they would tear each other a part and fight for dominance.

Yeah I want to make a secret book storage, but I don't have any hard cover books T_T
