Adult Swim.

I don't think bringing back most of the old anime is possible, since the majority of their contracts have expired and Adult Swim isn't really interested in putting anime on their blocks, but the original comedies they shove out their ass every once in awhile and Seth McFarland's crap.

I remembered when AS first aired. I would sneak to watch it every night, now I dread to see it. Black Lagoon would be awesome, so would Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne.

Adult Swim's lineup used to be excellent. Fullmetal Alchemist, Lupin, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun were all exceptional. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was good, but it seems the people at AS are losing their touch. Even comedy isn't what it used to be. Aqua Teen Hunger Force seems to be the soul survivor of Adult Swim's golden age.
Gurren Lagann would be an excellent choice. I think the typical AS viewer would love it.

By the way, Midnight Run was affiliated with Toonami, not AS.

Cool idea but Black Lagoon is more violent, more insane, and darker than Cowboy Bebop so I doubt it's TV friendly enough for AS to get avoided being "righteously condemned" by "moral crusaders" LOL. I haven't seen Rin, though.

Amen, brother. I outgrew censored anime. I like to watch anime in it's true, pure form. I do miss watching it on TV, though. Must buy DVD's.

There is a certain appeal to televised anime. That was back when I didn't have the means to access a show early, and having to wait to see a show made it sweeter in a way.

It's called Adult Swim, so they should be able to air semi-adult programs. It warns
the viewers before it even airs that it might be inappropriate for younger audiences. Besides, it's no worser than what Family Guy and Metalocalypse show on a regular basis.

Also, Rin is good, just graphic.

Higurashi, the melancholy of haruhi suzumiyah, they need to bring back shin chan, Axis Powers Hetalia, flcl, gintama, naruto shippuden, vampire knight, durarara, jigoku shoujo, ouran high school host club, chobits and gokusen. They should also bring back toonami and feature some shows for girls this time such as rozen maiden, k-on, lucky star, card captor sakura or any girly type anime. They didn't have any on the old toonami . . . .

That'll never happen, because the target aduience is ether male or casual.

I never cared about AS then, and I don't care about it now. *looks at my collection of uncensored anime*

They had Cowboy Bebop on recently but ever since then it's been going down the shitter. They need to bring back Check it out! and the good old Anime's. And supposedly Superjail is coming back so that's gonna be win. Not gonna lie though I hate the dubbed Anime they show. CB was prob the only tolerable one, and lets not forget when they showed FMA which got me hooked on Anime for good.
