Greetings, Troopers and Troopets.

With the 2nd of "the big three" apon us (halloween, thanksgiving, christmas), I thought I'd put this thread together to discuss the holidays we celebrate in the world.

My favorite holiday of the year is Thanksgiving. See most people like Christmas (which is both extremly commercialized and under attack by bullshit political correctness), some may even like Halloween. But I love thanksgiving because it's not so fucking commercialized and that you get together with family you don't see often to eat delicous mostly homemade food.

Yeah...that's right...homemade food. Homemade stuffing? Mashes Potatoes? Beats food in the box anyday. That's the lazy way in my opinion. And it's also the reason why I always eat on my father's side of the family....no offense to my mother's side but...oh anyway, there's nothing like the food, football, and whatever else goes on.

Also, I never eat a thing on thanksgiving until the big dinner itself is finished no matter how hungry I may be. It's so worth it, trust me. Especally if you want seconds of that homemade mashed potatoes or homemade macoroni and cheese. And of course, the turkey.

I'm probably making you hungry just reading all this. So...discuss away about the holidays in this world.

Christmas is a stupid holiday, but I have typically enjoyed it.

New Years, hands down.
Christmas comes next, even though I don't celebrate it. I get all merry and cheery. I love seeing all the lights, the Christmas trees at the mall, all the cute christmas shows and so on.

I deffinitely have to go with Thanksgiving, it's the only time of year that I can gather my in laws, my parents, and my children/ grand children over at our house (This will be the first time my grand daughter will be here, very excited).

There's no presents, there's no religious connotations, it's just a celebration of family and very, very good food.
