I am still seeing the ads - it does disappear when logging in via the browser but surely we can get this fixed - waste of time fiddling around when the app should simply work properly

Any idea when this will be resolved?

I am looking to buy a media server for my TV. I am considering Boxee but I want to make sure that it accepts premium accounts.

Boxee has a lot of great futures. It supports the widest variety of video formats, Apple Airplay, and Netflix. The UI is pretty nice, in particular when compared to the other non-apple Set top boxes.

But Boxee is not the market leader. So services like Amazon VOD aren't there yet, and CR definitely does not put a priority is correcting defects with the Boxee app.

The next biggest competitors are Roku and GoogleTV.

You can use a Premium Account through Boxee!

There's a bug that we are working to fix right now where you have to log in through the Boxee browser as well as the Boxee app, but that is the only current known Boxee issue I'm aware of.

There's an open ticket with the engineers, but I don't have a date for resolution.
I'll inquire again to see if I can find anything out.

All episodes of Ano Natsu de Matteru

Does not seem to hinder playback of other series.

Sorry it took me so long to get back here!
Head engineer watched me troubleshoot an issue this morning and noted the double login issue with Boxee.
I don't have any new info on a date when it will be resolved, but he did mention getting it fixed.

So hopefully in the near future.

The Boxee issue seems to be okay once you do the double login (pain!) and my wife and I are able to watch ad free. Of course the iPad app and web site work great as well.

Okay here is a really odd and specific issue. This occurs only with "The Knight in The Area" episodes. I generally fast forward thru the opening credits. If I do it on this show, the subtitles switch to Spanish. Once that happens I have to leave the app and play it again without fastforwarding. Ive noticed it on the past few episodes and it has not occurred on any other show I watch.

That is really weird...

One other thing that I beleive has been reported before, when I start to to play a video in the Crunchyroll app I get a cursor and cannot control the video with the remote unless I bring up the menu and select 'Go To Browser'. Once I do this, the cursor goes away and I can then fast-forward/rewind again.

I've reproduced the issue and shown it to the development team as well.
We're going to investigate the issue, but for the meantime, you'll have to watch the opening of the show.
