The login issue going to be fixed any time soon? Bought a boxee box since my roku couldnt handle cr's current connection issue but i still cant use it.

To answer my own question downloading the current boxee box rc from the boxee site fixes the login issue for crunchyroll and other site.

It seems that, recently, my Boxee Box has been receiving only the highest available resolution in both the Crunchyroll App and the Boxee Browser. In fact, if I use the Boxee Browser, I can't even force a change to lower resolution.

I'm happy about this, but I'm wondering if this is due to Crunchyroll's making back-end changes for Boxee Box or if it's just some glitch?

Originally Bleach was listing episodes from newest to oldest. Now it seems as if someone tried to swap them so the oldest episodes show first, but not everything followed suit. Currently the episodes are in the following order: 1-151, 166-152, 312-266. Please fix.

UPDATE: Shippuden suffers from the same problem, but less severe: 1-196, 201-197.

EDIT: Boxee app is being neglected... Seriously, how long is it going to take for you guys to at least fix the sorting of anime By Genre so it doesn't relist By Season instead? Ugh...

yea im not using boxee yet, havnt decided if its worth it. (can someone contact me and confirm a few questions about it?) im currently using my laptop with boxee app, very painful to watch anime on CR through it with the delay/studder. been reading various threads and seems like nearly a year later, alot is still not done.. im honestly concerned with the support if this boxee breaks or has issues.. im still happy to pay to be premium, but wish this app offered more, by far.. naruto is a pain in the ass to sort through atm.. have to look for the star by the eps to see if its the new one cause my eyes go crazy staring at unorganized numbers.

We have the boxee box and bought it specifically to use with CrunchyRoll. We are on the 2 week free trial and for past few days I've had only minor glitches or problems. Today, I'm watching an anime and within the 1st minute I get a pop up saying to get the premium membership to continue playing the video. I have the premium, It shows a star next to my user name at the top. I tired logging in and logging out. I checked on the computer at the main site and it states I have premium. I'm at a loss as what to do to fix this.

Which episode were you trying to watch? I'd like to see if it does the same to me.

Yumeiro Patissiere 1st episode. Since looking it up online to answer your question I saw that it was to be removed by April 1st, 2011. I guess that is what happened

I just tried it, and the video started for me. As you noted, it technically should have been removed already.

The video stopped on me. TheAncientOne, watch the video for about two minutes and then it will probably stop.

This is not the first time I've seen this. *Looks at my Kadokawa post.* EDIT: Although the problem is similar it is not the same, for at that time the Kadokawa video's were still full on the website, but not on Boxee. Now in this case it appears all the episodes for this series have been cut down to only two minutes in length each on this website and now are only available in SD. It's likely that this has something to do with the date of removal.

As it turned out, there was no need to wait 2 minutes. I noticed this time when I launched the video, the timeline lists a 2 minute length, and it defaults to SD, despite my default video quality being set to 720p.

As expected, trying the 480p or 720p tab results in no video, but rather than a "no video available" message, a premium member gets the same message that results if you click on the 2-week free premium membership trial.


Out of curiosity, I checked a couple of Kadokawa series (Sora no Otoshimono: Forte & Strike Witches 2) that are already well past their technical removal date, but they still come up in 720p with the standard length listed in the timeline.

So I was on the Boxee forums today, and there is a thread there about CR. The Boxee Mod said that the new API is ready, and the folks at CR have to update their App. Any idea when that's going to happen?

Not being able to watch the videos in 480p or 720p kind of defeats the purpose of the app imo. The SD quality is just so bad. Even if I use the browser, it still defaults to SD.

So it looks like the ball is in CR's court now.
