wow i cant believe there hasnt been a thread on this.
Anyway....who wants to discuss shonen jump?
tell everybody your favourite manga/anime fom jump?
umm...and other stuff like things about the mangakas that work for jump......ANYTHING ABOUT SHONEN JUMP!
the game jump! ultimate stars, is awesome.
yer....so thats all i have to say.....
its quite hard to purchase jump mags in london cos i have to travel pretty far to get a copy instead of just going to the local newsagents and buying one from there anyway.....someone else post something and help me out here

They make jump in english ay? The only magazine we can get over here is newtype which our distributor "crazily" overprices. (25 bucks AUS, normal mags with dvds are 12 at most) considering the american region dvd dosn't even work.

Jump pretty much has the majority of classic "famous" anime under its belt. I wish getting the comics was easier than having to order everything off ebay. Stupid Australia.

Almost everyone goes to websites that do for manga what crunchyroll does for manga.

well i guess cos your a girl u would like it better since shojo beat is for girls......but still.....i dont think that many people would agree with that im not sure but if u were to ask people on what they think is better, i think the majority would say that shonen jump is better than shojo beat. anyway...back to the topic.....

My favorites are: Hunter X Hunter!, Yu Yu Hakasho, One Piece! and Bleach and Kenshin are ok. I dont read any of the mangas though. Just watch the anime. Except i do own a few Hunter X Hunter volumes and read a bit of one piece thats ahead of the anime.

i know. u get manga chapters that were released like 2 years ago in japan.
Shinen Jump is kinda cheap here and i only buy them for collection purposes ive stoped thoughi havnt been up london in a while.
And one piece sucks its such an awful manga/anime, shonen jump has such brilliant mangas except one piece and a few others (yu-gi-oh).
Posted 6/10/07
really? i suppose that yu-gi-oh would be better as a manga....but.......idk...... i never really liked it when i was a kid

It's something I buy monthly. I like SJ.
Posted 6/11/07
yh i used to buy it monthly but i stoped cos the english version of sj just sucks its completly ruined......its been turned into a little kiddies magazine. And anyway i live in the UK so the competitions in the mag would mean nothing to me.....

i just saw a copy of 7th shonen jump magazine today! Well, to me, they should have put more death note stuff into the magazin instead of all about naruto

I stopped buying it cuz I was given a choice to buy that or the manga books. I picked the manga books but I also download so for me at least there is no point to buy it any more
