Not if you yourself are childish... me and the boyfriend like to have a good giggle at really silly things.

Honestly it is VERY important that if the childishness your referring to is giddy, joyful, energetic, jokester to NEVER change! You WILL find someone who fits you perfect. Dont turn in to some conformist (sheep or stiff) because other people tell you THEY dont like who YOU are . Conformity has killed any "realness" left in people and it is sad, if your dating some douche who says your too childish at 16 well they must have been through some pretty major life experiences so far.... Enjoy your life fuck what others say and just be you.

On the other hand if its childishness that is pranking, destructiveness, tickling, stupidity (what you say makes no sense or has no point), food fights and crap like that I would suggest working on gettin a little more serious when you need to be =) Nobody likes a grown up class clown.

When I think of childish, that's pretty much it. That and add whining about everything in there, drama-queen, annoying-brags-about-everything and not open minded sums up childish for me.

The first part is Child-Like and the second is Childish theres a difference u know?

And now back to the topic, its a big turn off fr me if theyre childish but if there Child-Like then I would love them to death because people have told me that I'm Child-Like and i want someone who can be serious too. My ex bf told me even though i was Child-Like I was also very mature for my age. You can be both but u cant be Childish and Mature at the same time :3

It depends in what context.

Childish as in can let their hair down and have a great time with me and make me laugh, no its a turn-on

Childish as in behaving like a twat and making a fool of themselves, turn off!

Its not a bad thing to be in touch with your inner child, but there is a limit imo -__-

Yeah. I mean if all they try to do is make me laugh and they just wanna be goofy all the time, that can get a little annoying. It's best to find a balance.

Errr, to be honest, I'm childish myself. But I'm much more mature than people think I am. .____. Although, my BF is childish at times. O: No wait, he's weird at times. But that's okay. ^^" I think.

When you go over the top with your childishness it's a HUGE turn off.

But just a little bit is lots of fun I can be a bit immature in my mannerisms and the way i act in public... But NEVER about anything serious, and I know when to stop.

But it's always fun to be just a little bit childish NOT too much though.

It's cute for like the first 20 minutes.

It's not a fuckable-cute.

I don't think so. It can get annoying though, but generally not really.

your days tend to be more fun and crazy haha

It depends on a person's preference. For me, it's only a turn off if he goes extreme with it and refuses to stop.

To an extent, yes it is.

Think of it as a math conundrum: properties of an inverse relationship. The older and/or more mature you become the less likely your friend or partner will appeal to you over time if he/she regresses to infantilism. Inverse also works well on a shorter timeline: the longer your friend/lover/associate/acquaintance acts out, the shorter your tolerance for that insipid behaviour will last.

Now, with that said, there is a caveat to this theory: in the event you are also pickled beyond redemption, stinkingly drunk, sky high, and/or the living breathing definition describing STUPID this theorem will not work. Hence, the conundrum.....

So guys.
I'm sure you're all confused by this geezer's post.

Well, judging by his age, spelling of the word "behaviour", and his infatuation with the adolescents.

I can confirm that this guy is looking for some pre-legal poon.

1. He's old and looking for a fountain of youth.
2. He's Canadian, the country which drives Thailand's robust economy of child prostitution with it's sex tourism.
