Depends on appearance and how exactly you are defining childish. Delighting in simple things to many people could be seen as childish for example, but it's not necessarily unattractive.
Appearance is obvious, if someone actually looks very young then it would likely be endearing to have a fitting personality

I would probably say no myself, but I like younger girls who act like younger girls, there's no rush to 'grow up' you'll have plenty of time to do that in life, not so with youth.

It depends. There are degrees which childish behavior looks so cute. But if it's overdone, that's when it'll become a turn-off. Childish people are fun to be with, but there are times which I prefer to hang out with mature people.

I've dated women who were childish or immature in any number of ways, and it depends.

If someone is childish because they have a childish hobby or quirk, like they still have their old my little pony collection or sleep with a teddy bear or something, then it's basically harmless and can even be endearing.

If they're childlike in the positive sense that they are inquisitive about the world around them and lacking in cynicism, then that's a good quality to have in my book.

If it's childish in the negative sense, meaning selfish and self-centered, and haven't grown out of it because they never had to, it's aggravating.

But If they're childish in the sense that they have purposely adopted childish affectations in order to seem cute, well, that's just annoying.

I think being childish is usually a turn off, but it depends; being incapable of maturity would be an undesirable trait, but it is good to be childlike and silly at times.

depends on what Childish is 8P
has childlike interests such as videogames, comics and cartoons? no, thats awsome! XD I can live with that, that stuff is still fun for me, I even love collecting cute little toys like Hello Kitty and mini anime figurines X3 and neopet stuff so no, that kinda childish is fine.

acts like a child when its unnecessary? clingy, pouts when he/she doesnt get his/her way, doesnt wanna work and expects mom and dad to pick up after you? cant take responsibility like an adult? yes -_- thats a turn off! a huge one!

Being childish, as in immaturity, is a turn off for me. Specifically what probably bugs me the most is a childish sense of humor.

Some of you seem to think that maturity means you don't have fun. This is not at all the case. I've always been told that I'm very mature for my age, but I definitely know how to have a good time. Adults (as in 30's, 40's, 50's) know how to have a good time too, whether you realize it or not.

well it depends for me
my friend can acts soooo crazy like a kid sometimes and i find it halarious, he can be serious as well
but if i saw a 20 year old guy throwing a hissy fit then thats a huge turn off
but come on everyone is a child inside right?

ohh and i'm 15 and my friends say i look and act 12 so it doesn't matter to me if people are childish its funner that way

i think it depends on how childish the person acts... 'cuz there's this type of person who is somewhat childish but fun... but then there's this childish type of person that really acts like a child and is soooo immature... that's the major turn-off...
