I have a premium subscription so why am I seeing this ad? I'm on a netbook and it takes up like 1/4 of the screen. I only pasted its link to just show that it's clearly an ad:
http://adserver.adtechus.com/adlink/5290/1285659/0/999/AdId=1258682;BnId=5;itime=898341294;nodecode=yes;link=http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/livethestory/pathofpain/

I made sure to check the details and listed with no ads*
*"You will not see any display ads except for direct sponsorships, which include front-page takeovers and integrated promotions. Premium Members will never see video advertisements for the videos in their section."
Which it's neither a front page take over, nor a integrated promotion. Even though it is Bandai who could be a direct sponsor, I doubt I would see a constant flux of other anime companies slathering ads for their DVDs and such on the site, which this is no different and I don't see why this would be an exception since it's not a promotion nor anything new. Aswell as using a adnetwork to direct user to the site, which I highly doubt you use to track its analytics, seeing as crunchyroll and bandai already use google analytics. Just covering all the bases since this forum moves so slow.

It is an advertisement and we are not hiding that fact. That's what we call a front-page takeover ad which is covered in what you quoted and they've been there for a long time now. If you really do not want to see it, just get Adblock and either it will automatically block it or you can manually add a rule to block it.

Ok thanks I had thought a a front page take over, took over all the site and not just a banner like a regular ad like all of the site like when it also took up the sides of the site as well, thanks for the response.

It actually does, your browser is just not rendering it because of the low resolution and small screen of your net book.

It does the same thing on my iPad, but on my laptop and desktop the sides are also rendered because both have higher resolution monitors.

The path of pain starts in my ear drums.
I can't emphasize how much I hate this commercial. It's way too loud and frequent. If I have video playback problems and have to reload the video I'll end up seeing it 3 times before I get to the actual show. If you took the volume down by 1/2 it would be the same volume as the other commercials and video. If I wasn't going to buy the card set when I first started seeing them then I'm definitely not going to now.
