Eating right excludes Applebees and other trashy restaurants from your diet.

When I want to lose a few pounds, I cut everything I usually eat in half. It helps, but I don't recommend doing it if you don't already eat a balanced diet.

Exercising and burning more calories than you eat. For a healthy diet, eat the rainbow!! (Have a balanced diet) Eat different kinds of veggies and try to follow the food pyramid.

Biggest thing to watch is portion size. When you go to a restaurant and they bring you that huge plate of food...that is usually at least 2 portions or more! Balance out your food...eat green vegetables and protein. Avoid fruit if you are trying to lose weight faster...fruit is sugar, even if healthier then eating a sugar cube, you still will not lose weight as quickly as you would eating green veggies.
Cut out Bread, Pasta and Rice - these carbs will fill you up faster, but are empty calories and fat, with little to no nutrional value.

If you don't want to try the above...stop drinking soda. Soda is crack in a can. The carbonation allows you to burp while you eat, which expands the stomach and makes you feel like you still have room to continue eating. Not to mention the sugar and sodium in sodas is not good for you.
Drink water! Especially after excercise. Water flushes out your organs and gets rid of toxins and fat. Drink at least 64 oz of water a day.

- Eat more nutritious food like fresh veggies and fruits. Eat junk food and sweets sparingly or not at all.
- Exercise a good amount each day.
- Regular sized portion meals and I heard it helps your metabolism if you eat slowly.
