Though One Piece is the #1 best-selling manga in Japan with over 1/5 of a billion tankoubon sold, shouldn't people more concerned with the all-time best-selling manga in terms of global sales? The global best-seller sold enough for nearly everyone in the USA

Alright, good. You proved that a franchise that has existed for about 25-30 years has earned more than one that has existed for about 12 now I think. I still think One Piece is more awesome than Dragonball.

One Piece is one of those series I never got into save for some TV episodes (the 4kids one), fanfics, and manga. One Piece may be better, however, one can argue DB is better because One Piece's art was influenced by DB and many shounen action show elements were immortalized by DB.
