I bought that "collector's" boxset (the one that came with the pin set) for an absurdly low price (somewhere around $25, I think ). I enjoy the show, although it isn't as spectacular as I remember it being when I first saw it on TV. Mostly, a lot of the episodes in the first portion of the series suffer a lot from their highly episodic structuring. Once the show gets going, it does keep its momentum, although I think that some of the plot twists introduced in the last few episodes were kind of cheesy, and I thought the ending was just a little too ambiguous, and left too many fairly simple questions unanswered--for instance:
how will they hunt now (without orbo), and what are they going to do with the witches they capture now, since the factory is destroyed?

Also, was Haruto a witch? They imply that all hunters are actually witches, and Haruto does get (unsuccessfully) hunted. Zaizen also mentions his plans to eliminate all the hunters currently working for the STN-J once he has perfected orbo.

I found it at Best Buy. I love Best Buy. You can get artboxes that usually cost $40 for $25. DAMN Suncoast for screwing me over and not hacing FMP TSR. I finally saved just about enough for it. So I went there on my way home after school and they didn;t have it. Then.... The WETZEL PRETZELS WERE CALLING TO ME. Now i'm $5 short

Of course, you might wanna check Store availability on that first. I have like 3 Best Buys that are just a mere Bus ride away, so I don't mind. Hopefully, FMP TSR is cheaper at best buy then at Suncoast so I won't need another $5.

The anime was great. Too bad it ended in a cliff hanger.

I really liked this show. As has been noted by others its cheep now. It's been released as an "Anime Legends" set which you can get at Best Buy for 45$ or so. Wolf's Rain and some other series have been likewise rereleased.

SPOILER: some people indicate that the main characters die at the end.....I thought they were running away and he was just going to be watching her, and kill her if necessary. It's been a long time but did I miss a final episode. Note: I may have been drunk when watching this series.

actually another really good place to get anime box sets is at sundevildvd.com...most of the time I can get things there a lot cheaper and they have a pretty good selection. He's also really good about getting your orders shipped to you really quick. check it out if you have the time.

I made this thread cause I wanted to know what everyone thinks of this show. I know its slow in the begining but give it a while and you'll be suprised. My favorite charater is either Robin or amon. I found the end to be reminescent of cowboy bebop, and the little action it had was good. I think this show is like a foregotten classic.

i have this on a boxset, and got soooo bored with it.

didnt even botehr to finish the rest.
