Case Closed: The Time-Bombed Skyscraper, known as Detective Conan: The Time-Bombed Skyscraper (名探偵コナン 時計じかけの摩天楼, Meitantei Conan: Tokei-jikake no matenrou?) in Japan, is a 1997 Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan (名探偵 コナン, Meitantei Conan?) manga series and featuring detective Jimmy Kudo. Funimation released the film in North America.

PLOT
Conan sorts mail at Dr. Agasa's home and finds a letter addressed to Jimmy. It is from Leo Joel, a famous architect, who invites Jimmy to a garden party. Because he cannot attend, Jimmy calls Rachel using his voice-changing bowtie and asks her to go in his place. Rachel agrees, on the condition that Jimmy goes to a movie with her on Saturday. Conan heads home wondering why Rachel was so insistent about the date.

Back at her home, Rachel tells her father about her date with Jimmy on Saturday, May 4 - the day before his birthday. She plans to the watch the movie The Legend of the Red String, which is about two lovers connected by a red string of destiny. She also plans to surprise Jimmy with a red polo shirt after he expressed his preference of the color over blue. Rachel then brings up the garden party, which her father reluctantly agrees to go to.

On the day of the party, Rachel, her father, and Conan heads out to Leo Joel's residence, built so both sides are completely symmetric. Leo Joel holds a small contest involving the profiles of three different men and asks his guests to find out the one similarity between them. Conan solves the puzzle, much to Richard's dismay, and he and Rachel are granted a small tour of the man's gallery, where portraits of his previous architectural works are displayed. Leo informs Conan and Rachel that all the works on the wall they were looking at were built in his 30s.

On the morning of April 4, at Dr. Agasa's house, Conan sees a news bulletin on TV about the robbery of a cache of explosives the previous night and other recent arsons. Suddenly, the phone rings, and the voice-disguised caller requests Jimmy personally. Conan learns that bombs will go off in different areas unless Jimmy agrees to play a game. He accepts, and the mysterious caller tells him to go to a certain park. Upon arriving, Conan finds the Junior Detective League (Amy Yeager, Mitch Tennison, and George Kaminski) playing with a toy airplane, which was given to them by a stranger. Conan realizes that plane has a bomb and eventually destroys it by kicking the broken controller at the plane. The bomber calls again and reveals that another bomb under an old tree near Beika Station will explode at precisely one o'clock.

Conan arrives at Beika Station using his solar-powered skateboard but cannot find the bomb. He spies an elderly woman finding a kitten in a cat carrier under a bench and realizes that it's the bomb. The old lady takes a cab back home, but Conan catches up and takes the explosive-laden carrier. With few seconds to spare, he manages to launch the bike towards the river, and the bomb blows just shy of it. The force of the explsion sends Conan into a tree, knocking him out.

After Conan wakes up in the hospital, Meguire and Richard try to determine the bomber's motive. They deduce that the explosives on the toy plane and in the carrier were the same explosives stolen the previous night. Meguire and Santos think that the culprit may have some sort of grudge against Jimmy Kudo, but Santos says that everyone Kudo's caught is currently still in jail. The Junior Detective League draw a picture of the stranger who gave them the rigged plane, but it doesn't help much. Amy says that she noticed a sweet smell around the stranger but couldn't really identify it.

Meanwhile, the bomber contacts Conan and states that he has placed five bombs on the City Loop Line. After four o'clock, if the trains go slower than 60 km/h, then the bombs will detonate. The bombs will also detonate if they are not found and disarmed by sunset. A frantic search for the bombs on the trains proves fruitless, but Conan figures out that the bombs are on the tracks and that if the solar sensors on the bombs do not detect light for a certain amount of time, it would trigger an explosion. The bomb squads find and disarm the bombs, and Conan deduces that Professor is involved in the bombings because most of the bombings and arsons happened near buildings he designed.

Meguire, Santos, Richard and Conan confront the man, who pleads innocence. Conan smells a sweet smell around the architect and investigates the gallery and the man's study. Conan finds a diorama of a beautiful city plan and notices the perfect symmetry. Conan then recalls that all of Joel's previous works are asymmetrical and how he admitted disdain for such style. He calls Meguire using his voice-changer and requests that everyone meet in the gallery. Conan uses Jimmy's voice to reveal Professor Leo Joel as the bomber. It was an elaborate plan to destroy the architect's 'inferior' works and create a perfect new structure. The alarmed Joel threatens to destroy his own home with a lighter-shaped detonator, but Conan removed the batteries beforehand. After Santos makes the arrest, the architect reveals the site of his final bombing: Beika City Building, the location of Rachel's date with Jimmy. As Conan runs off to the building, Professor Joel tells him to inform Jimmy that he has provided him three extra minutes and to use them wisely. As Rachel receives a call from Conan warning her about the explosives, bombs go off and seal the entrances and exits, trapping Rachel and others inside. Conan makes his way through the collapsing building, but find himself blocked from Rachel by a warped door. Using his tie and cell phone, he calls Rachel to confirm she is okay and asks her to look for anything strange. Rachel find a large shopping back with a large device with a timer on it, which is the bomb. Jimmy convinces a frightened Rachel to follow his instructions and disarm the bomb.

Because the rescue crew won't arrive before the bomb blows, Jimmy tells Rachel to use a pair of scissors to cut the wires he tells her to cut to disarm the bomb. Jimmy carefully guides Rachel, but the architect made two extra wires, one red, one blue. One of them is booby-trapped, but Jimmy has no idea which one it is. He also realizes that the timer is set to go off three minutes after midnight because the architect wanted Jimmy to enjoy his last birthday. Jimmy tells Rachel to cut either one. Just then, the rescue team arrives and finds Conan. As they carry him away, Jimmy realizes that the architect knew that Rachel's favorite color was red, so he would have booby-trapped the red wire. In the last few minutes, Rachel makes a desperate decision and cuts a wire. The timer stops, and it turns out she had cut the blue wire.

Conan asks why Rachel cut the blue wire. Rachel says she didn't cut the red wire because it represents the red string of fate between Jimmy and her.

PLOT
The Fourteenth Targert opens with Inspector Megure begin shot with a crossbow. A paper mache knife and a King from a deck of cards are found at the scene. Then, Eva Kadan receives a box of chocolates and is poisoned by them. Again, there is a Queen from the deck and a paper mache flower. The next day Dr. Agasa is also shot with a crossbow by a motorist and leaves behind a mache sceptre and a Jack from a deck of cards. Conan soon realize that the paper mache objects correspond to what the card figure is holding on the card left behind. Soon, it is found out that each victim is represented by a regular playing card. The order of the attacks starts from the highest card, the King, and goes down in order. Victims of face cards "clues" are objects that are being held in the playing card. Victims of non-face cards are represented by the playing card itself.

Realizing this, Richard and Conan try and find out the next targets and save them. Near the end, the family is invited to the Hotel Tycoon, but the building explodes and water rushes inside.

Rachel almost dies when a car is stuck on her leg, but Conan saves her. Conan realizes that the criminal is Kevin Simms explains everything from his voice-changing tie. Hearing all this, Simms takes Rachel hostage and makes a run for it. He leads them to the roof of the collapsing hotel where a helicopter has been called in. Kevin Simms demands Santos' gun for Rachel's safety and demands Conan to deliver him the gun.

Conan takes the gun but instead fires, grazing Rachel's leg, making it very difficult for him to use the hostage. He drops Rachel, and Richard and Santos run and tackle him. The helicopter lands and takes them all to safety and Simms is arrested for his crimes.

Playing Card Symbols
During the course of the film multiple characters are represented by a certain number from a standard deck of cards. The playing cards are all spades, which represents death. The victim’s name, clue left behind, and the connection with the number are all displayed below in the chart. Since the English adaption has changed names of the characters, the corresponding relationships between the character and the numbers were changed accordingly.

Case Closed: The Last Wizard Of The Century, known as Detective Conan: The Last Wizard of the Century (名探偵コナン 世紀末の魔術師, Meitantei Conan Seikimatsu no Majutsushi?) in Japan, is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Case Closed series. It was released in Japanese theatres on April 17, 1999. Funimation Entertainment acquired the rights to this film from TMS Entertainment on July 17, 2009 and released the dub on December, 2009
PLOT

The story begins with Ayumi watching a vampire movie late at night in her apartment. At her mother's insistence, the little girl goes to bed, but is awoken minutes later by the sound of Kaito Kid landing on her balcony. After a brief conversation, Kid flies off, pursued by the police. The next day, she discusses the meeting with her friends. Conan Edogawa retorts that Kid will be caught eventually. The movie then cuts away to a massive meeting at the metropolitan police department, headed by the superintendent of investigation, Shintaro Chaki. Chaki states that they have received a note from Kid stating his next crime, marked "From the dusk of the lion to the dawn of the virgin, when the clock without the second hand is pointing toward the twelfth letter, I shall take the memories' egg, from the shining sky chamber". The note is signed "The Last Wizard of the Century".
The superintendent comes to the conclusion that the "memories egg" is a recently discovered Fabergé egg belonging to Nicholas II of Russia, which is to be displayed in the Suzuki Modern Art Museum in Osaka on August 22.

Inspector Nakamori takes it at this point, explaining that the first line of the poem talks about the last day of Leo, August 22, and the first day of Virgo, August 23, between which Kid will attempt to steal the egg. The meaning of the second line is, as of yet, undiscovered. The meaning of the last line is interpreted as referring to "Castle Tower", the main tower of Osaka Castle. The movie then picks up at the point where Conan, Ran, and Kogoro travel to Osaka, the latter in order to secure the egg. They meet Sonoko at the airport, and travel by limo with her to the museum. Meanwhile, over at Professor Agasa's house, the Detective Boys complain about how Conan went to Osaka without them.
Meanwhile, at the Suzuki Modern Art Museum, Conan, Ran, Kogoro, and Sonoko meet up with Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama. Sonoko comments on how their relationship mirrors that of Ran and Shinichi Kudo's, and coupled with Kazuha's words about how Hattori kept talking about "Kudo". Once inside the museum, Sonoko's father introduces them to Selgei Ovchinicov, the Russian Embassy's first-class secretary, Shouichi Inui, an art dealer, Hoshi Seiran, a Chinese researcher on the Romanov Dynasty, the time which Nicholas II lived in, and Ryu Sagawa, a freelance photographer covering the press with news of the egg. All four of these people want the egg for one reason or another. After all four have left, Sonoko's father shows Conan, Ran, Kogoro, Sonoko, Heiji, and Kazuha the egg, which is not only priceless and beautiful, but a work of craftsmanship as well. Conan correctly deduces that the egg can be opened, and when it is, it reveals a gold model of Tsar Nicholas II with his family. Furthermore, when a key is inserted and winded, the model rises, music starts playing, and the Tsar model starts to flip through the book that he is holding.

At this point, Inspector Nakamori and Superintendent Chaki arrive, and discuss the meaning of the second line in Kid's poem. After several guesses, Kogoro deduces that Kid will strike when the hands of the clock form an "L" - three o' clock in the morning. Meanwhile, over at the museum, Inspector Nakamori shows Kogoro a decoy egg, which will be placed in the museum in the place where the real egg is supposed to be. Night soon falls, and Conan figures out that Kid's heist is supposed to take place at 7:20 in the evening, not 3:00 in the morning. Unfortunately, since he and Hattori are too far away from the museum, they are incapable of alerting the adults. With only seven minutes before the heist, Conan runs off to stop Kid.

Kid stop a tower, and using remote-control bombs, sends the entire Osaka district into a blackout. This forces out all of the buildings in the district to bring out their backup power systems, and the only building with a backup power system in the district that is not a hotel or hospital is the warehouse where the real egg is kept. Getting his turbo-power skateboard, Conan chases after the glider-bound Kid, but cannot find a way to follow him through the traffic-jammed street. Hattori soon arrives on his motorcycle, and the two chase after Kid to the egg's new location. Once they arrive, Conan runs inside the building by himself, but is powerless to stop Kid from getting away with the egg. Conan tenaciously chases after him with Heiji - until a minivan collides with the Osakan teen and sends him and his motorcycle skidding across the ground. At Heiji's urging, Conan continues to chase after Kid on his turbo-powered skateboard - until Kid is shot in the right eye by an unknown assailant and apparently falls into the sea and to his death.

Conan finds Kid's pigeon and the egg returned. A huge search is conducted the rest of the night but Kid's body is not found. The next morning, the egg's display is postponed, and Kogoro, Ran, Conan, Sonoko, Sonoko's father and his servant Mr. Nishino, and the four other people in the museum the previous day travel back to Tokyo by ship. Also on the ship is Natsumi Kousaka, whose great-grandfather was a worker in Fabergé's factory, and her butler, Kuranosuke Sawabi. As Natsumi explains, while going through her late grandmother's momentos, she found a ripped sketch of a Fabergé egg, with "Memories" written on the bottom. Conan inspects the sketch, and infers that it was, in fact, a larger sketch than everybody thought, which displayed two eggs. Conan then fiddles with a small mirror in the bottom of the egg, and using a pocket flashlight, makes it project an image onto the wall - an image of Yokosuka Castle, which was built by Natsumi's great-grandfather. Kogoro comes to the conclusion that when Natsumi's great-grandfather and great-grandmother came to Japan in order to flee the Russian Revolution, they brought the two eggs depicted in the sketch with them, one of which is the one on the ship right now, and one of which is hidden somewhere in the castle. In addition, a key that Natsumi found with the sketches is supposedly the key that unlocks wherever the egg is held in the castle.

Conan develops suspicions that everyone on the ship, except Ran, Kogoro, Sonoko, and Sonoko's father, was the person who shot Kaito Kid. Later in the day, Ran is treating Kid's wounded pigeon when Mr. Nishino, Natsumi, and Sonoko come in, the first of which immediately leaves the room at the sight of it. During tea time, Hoshi Seiran is also invited, and Natsumi explains that ever since childhood, a mysterious phrase has always been stuck in her mind: Barushe Niku Katta Beka. Later on, just as the sun is setting, Ryu Sagawa, the photographer, shows off a necklace made from the ring of Nicholas II's daughter Maria. When Hoshi asks where he got it, Ryu simply scoffs and walks off. During the night, Ryu is murdered, shot in the right eye in the same fashion as Kid. The murder is soon discovered, and Inspector Megure, along with officers Takagi and Shiratori, arrive at the scene by helicopter. The inside of Ryu's room is a mess, with furniture and belongings thrown askew and his pillow ripped open. The police find Nishino's pen scattered inside the room, pegging him as the culprit. In addition, Takagi and Shiratori report that all videotapes in Ryu's room are gone.
Conan suddenly runs off, and Ran follows, bumping into Officer Shiratori in the hall. Shiratori insists that Ran regroup with the others, since the assassin could still be on the ship, while Conan uses the phone box to phone Professor Agasa, telling him to look up a sniper who likes to shoot people in the right eye. Agasa soon comes up with the results: a thief of unknown age and gender, nicknamed "Scorpion" by the ICPO, likes shooting people in the right eye. Meanwhile, Officer Takagi finds Ryu's ring necklace in Nishino's room, further pegging him as the murderer, until Conan comes in and realizes that Nishino's pillow is rubber; further interrogation reveals that Nishino is allergic to feathers, and therefore could not have ransacked Ryu's room. After clearing Nishino's room, Conan shares with the adults his theory of Scorpion being behind the sniping of Kaitou Kid and Ryu.
Remembering that the fortune he received in Osaka said "Secrets will be revealed", Conan has the feeling that "Shiratori" might know his identity. Since he cannot risk using his watch stun-gun with Officer Shiratori watching, Conan is forced to use subtle hints to lure Kogoro away from his deduction that Nishino is Scorpion. Eventually, it is revealed that a few years back, Nishino beat up Ryu for insensitively filming a little girl whose village was destroyed by war, so Ryu would naturally hold a grudge against him. Kogoro then comes to a more rational deduction that the murder case is actually two cases overlapped, with the first one involving Ryu placing his own ring in Nishino's room and taking Nishino's personalized pen into his room in order to frame him for the theft. However, before the "stolen" ring could be announced, Scorpion killed Ryu and ransacked his room for the ring, along with taking all of his tapes since one of them could have captured his/her identity. Officer Shiratori states that he found a lifeboat missing from the ship, hinting that Scorpion had already escaped, and volunteers to go to Yokosuka Castle to provide security, seeing as Scorpion may also be after the second egg.

Meanwhile, at Professor Agasa's house, the professor and Ai are preparing to go to the castle as well. Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta naturally stow away onto his car, and come to the castle too. At the castle, the professor gives Conan a pair of "heavily equipped" glasses, just like he asked, fitted with bulletproof glass. Naturally, Kogoro demands that the four other children remain outside the castle, along with the professor, but as soon as everybody else enters it, the "Detective Boys" look for another passage into the castle, as to "get to the treasure faster". Meanwhile, inside the castle, Inui, the art dealer, splits off from the main group and finds a hidden safe behind one of the pictures in one of the rooms. However, he triggers a trap, which causes a shackle to pin his wrist to the inside of the safe and an assortment of blades to rain down on him. Luckily, the blades are attached to the ceiling via strings, and stop within an inch of his body. After unlocking the shackle, the group continues with the tour of the castle, coming to a study that doubled as Natsumi's great-grandfather's room. Inside, they find a picture of the Mad Monk Rasputin, who is said to have led ruin to the Romanov Dynasty. Conan eventually figures out that there is a hidden basement in the castle, along with a hidden keypad to unlock it. After several guesses, the password turns out to be "Barushe Niku Katta Beka" - the phrase stuck in Natsumi's head, under slightly different pronunciation - as "ВОЛШЕБНИК КОНЦА ВЕКА" - "the last wizard of the century" in Russian.
At the correct password being typed in, the gears beneath the castle begin to move, revealing a small opening to a staircase leading underground. Meanwhile, the "Detective Boys" have found their own way beneath the castle, and choose to go forward in the tunnels instead of waiting for the professor to get help. With Conan's group who has travelled underground by now, Conan notices a sound made by the four other children, and goes to check it out, accompanied by officer Shiratori. Inui, meanwhile, sees a shadowy figure in one direction of the tunnels, and when he chases after it around a corner, he is shot by a silenced handgun held by the figure. After the "Detective Boys" and Conan's party have grouped together, the collective party come to a massive wall in the tunnel, covered in ornate engravings and pictures. Almost immediately, Conan figures it out, telling Officer Shiratori to shine his flashlight beam exclusively at a two-headed vulture drawing's single crown. The concentrated beam of light triggers the crown like a switch, as it is made out of photometer, and a set of hidden stairs appears, leading to a chamber even further underground.
The inside of the chamber is designed like a crypt, with a small shrine surrounded on all sides by water. A massive copper coffin lies in the center of the chamber, which Natsumi opens with the key that she had found in her great-grandfather's sketches. Kogoro heaves open the lid of the coffin, revealing a corpse inside, clutching the second egg. When asked about the identity of the corpse, Natsumi supposes that it is that of her great-grandmother, who could not be buried in a regular cemetery because of her Russian roots. When opened, however, the egg is revealed to be empty. Ayumi suggests that the egg is like a Matryoshka Doll, in that it needs to be put into something, or something needs to be put in it. At this point, Officer Shiratori reveals that he had borrowed the first egg from Sonoko's father, and had it in his bag all along. The first egg is placed into the larger second egg, but nothing happens. Conan figures that the many pieces of glass inside and outside both eggs are lens, and tells everybody else to extinguish the candles lighting the chamber. Next, Officer Shiratori's flashlight is placed vertically into the center of a goblet-like holder, and the two eggs, one inside the other, on top.
The vertical beam of light shines through the combined mechanisms of both eggs, triggering a photometer switch inside them. What results is multiple beams of light being projected from the eggs and hitting the walls of the chamber, revealing pictures of Nicholas II's family and friends. Everybody realizes that the golden figurines inside the first egg aren't reading a book, but a photo album - that's why the eggs are called "Memories". Amongst the pictures are one of Natsumi's great-grandfather - alongside her great-grandmother, who she had never seen before in her life. When the lights fade, Conan begins to wonder where Inui went, just as Ai drops a cryptic question - why was Rasputin not amongst the pictures in the lights? After all, he was close to Nicholas II. Just then, Conan notices a laser sight creeping up Kogoro's body, over his right eye, and manages to knock him out of the bullet's path by throwing his flashlight at him. However, the unknown assailant is now targeting Ran, who Conan manages to push out of the way as well. However, as everybody is running in panic, Natsumi falls and drops the interconnected eggs, and the assailant scoops it up and runs out of the chamber, Conan chasing after him/her. Leaving Kogoro to take care of the rest, Officer Shiratori chases after Conan.
As Conan, Shiratori, and the culprit near the stairs leading to the castle, the culprit plants a grenade near the stairs, using the explosion to cause a cave-in. Conan narrowly gets through, but Shiratori is left behind. As he nears the stairs, however, the culprit presses the reset button on the keypad, causing the door in the floor to slide back into place. Conan, however, quickly discovers a switch by the stairs to re-open the door from the inside. The culprit is nearly out of the castle by now, and throws a tank of propane onto the ground, using a torch to light it on fire with the intent to burn the entire castle down. Conan, however, has already made it out of the underground chambers, and confronts the assailant in the room, which is full of suits of armor. Interchanging his voice using his bow-tie, Conan reveals the assailant's true identity - the Romanov researcher - Seiran, who is not only really Russian but a descendant of Rasputin. Becoming steadily more hysteric, Seiran begins to shoot at every sound she hears, while Conan continues to switch between voices and explains that Seiran thought that the eggs should have belonged to Rasputin, and combed the world for it as Scorpion, developing her habit of shooting people in the right eye because Rasputin's body was discovered without a right eye.
At this point, Conan reveals himself and continues with his deduction in the burning room, that Seiran killed Ryu because of his habit of carrying his camcorder everywhere, and she thought that he had captured a picture of Rasputin in her room on the ship, and Inui was killed because he saw her preparing her silenced handgun. However, her reason for killing Kogoro and subsequently Ran was merely because Kogoro had insulted Rasputin earlier. Angrily, Seiran prepares to shoot Conan with the last bullet in her handgun, to which Conan tells her to go ahead and do. However, the bullet merely bounces off of Conan's glasses. While Seiran reloads the handgun, Conan activates his power-boosting sneakers and prepares to kick a piece of rubble at her, and just as Seiran points the reloaded gun at Conan, a playing card comes out of nowhere and knocks the gun out of her hands. Officer Shiratori emerges from the flames, carrying Seiran and telling Conan to come with him. Though Conan is hesitant, the castle collapsing from the heat of the fire forces him to follow Shiratori. Meanwhile, the others have gotten out via the entrance that the "Detective Boys" entered the tunnels through in the first place, with help from the recently-arrived Agasa.
The "Detective Boys" cry out for Conan, fearing that he has perished in the burning castle, when Conan appears behind them, giving the eggs to Natsumi. According to him, Shiratori had already taken Scorpion - Seiran - away, and fire engines soon arrive to put out the burning castle. Natsumi discusses plans to relocate her great-grandmother's corpse to a cemetery, alongside the other members of her family, while the others discuss the fate of Kaitou Kid - who Conan believes is still alive. Back at the Mouri Detective Agency, Ran muses over how much Conan looked like Shinichi when he pushed her out of the bullet's path. At the sight of Ran's tears, Conan almost tells her who he really is - until what appears to be Shinichi walks into the agency. While Ran rushes to get a towel, "Shinichi" leaves the agency, until Conan stops him outside and reveals him to be Kaito Kid, as evidenced by the soot on his shoulders. Conan further states that he was Shiratori for most of the case, the real one having been in another city at the time of the case. Furthermore, it's revealed that Natsumi's great-grandmother was Nicholas II's daughter, Maria, and Kid wanted to steal the egg to give it back to her, as she was its rightful owner. During the Russian Revolution, Natsumi's great-grandfather fell in love with her, and the pair eloped to Japan, carrying the eggs with them. When Maria died, Natsumi's great-grandfather used her fortune to build a magnificent castle to act as her tomb.
Kid stops Conan at this point, telling him "some mysteries are better left as mysteries", just as Ran arrives with a towel.
Kid then disappears in a flurry of pigeons, while Conan thinks that there is no mystery about why Kid helped him - Ran had nursed his pigeon back to health, and he was merely returning the favor. Later, Ran is seen chiding Conan for not stopping "Shinichi" from leaving. Conan maintains that "Shinichi" said that he will be back someday. Ran, not soothed in the least, performs several karate moves on the towel she had brought for Shinichi, saying that that is what she will do to Shinichi when she sees him again. Conan sighs in relief at how he has not changed back yet or told Ran his identity.

Case Closed: Captured in Her Eyes, known as Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes (名探偵コナン 瞳の中の暗殺者, Meitantei Conan: Hitomi no Nakano Ansatsusha?) in Japan, is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan series. It was released on December 29, 2009 in the US. This movie achieved a box office income of 2.5 billion Japanese yen.
PLOT
On the way home, the Junior Detective League witness a policemen being killed by an unknown man. Conan Edogawa learns from the police that a killer has recently been murdering police officers in the area and that the killer has some sort of connection to the police. During a party, Simone Miwako is critically wounded by the killer. Rachel Moore having witnessed the event has become traumatized by it and as a result, has been diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. While Conan investigates the culprits motive, he links the murders to a past case where the police were unable to solve. Conan realizes the culprit was murdering officers who were planning on re-opening the case and deduces who the murderer is. The murderer, revealed to be the psychologist tending to Rachel, attempts to murder her as she saw his face when he shot Simone. Conan manages to intervene and reveals that the psychologist was once a heart surgeon that was intentionally injured by another doctor and was forced to retire. The psychologist then murdered the doctor and the police closed the case deeming it a suicide. However, upon discovering that the case would be reopened, he decided to kill the officers who were investigating the matter to protect his identity. Conan and Rachel escape from the psychologist and after a long chase, they are cornered. Rachel regains her memory just as Conan disarms the criminal. However, the psychologist manages to grab Conan and reveals a hidden knife and prepares to stab him, only to be stopped by Rachel's Karate.

PLOT

On their way, Genta complains on not fitting in the back seat, forgetting he ate five bowls of rice for breakfast. Mitsuhiko decides to try and play the 30 seconds game. You count without looking at the timer, and whoever is closest to the time wins. Ai and Agasa don't participate. Mitsuhiko goes first getting a time of 40 seconds, Conan gets closer with a time of 27 seconds, Genta counts 59 seconds, and Ayumi gets the perfect score of 30 seconds. Genta asks Ai who she was talking to on the phone, and she replies he was dreaming. They finally come to the Nishitamashi Twin Tower Buildings, and not shortly after, Ran, Kogoro, and Sonoko arrive by taxi. Surprised, they decide to join each other as Kogoro's old friend from college Tokiwa Mio owns the building. He was invited a week before the Opening. Mio's secretary Minami comes outside and greets them to take a quick tour of the building. She explains that all floors above 31st belong to the Tokiwa Corporation, and the showroom spans from the 2nd to the 3rd floor. Mitsuhiko explains to Ayumi that the Tokiwa Company deals with computer software, but are involved with everything concerning computers. At the game room, they meet lead programmer Hara, who created a particular machine that can show the face of a person in ten years. Ayumi and Agasa take the first try. Dr. Agasa didn't change one bit, while Ayumi's photo looks beautiful. Genta and Mitsuhiko take the next seat as they turn into high-schoolers. Sonoko and Ran are next. Sonoko looks old, while Ran looks a bit like her mother Eri. Mitsuhiko and Ayumi look curious to Ran and Conan's reaction.

Conan and Ai refuse to participate, Kogoro forces Conan inside, and Genta and Mistuhiko force Ai into the seat. After the flash happens the machines receives an error which save the two. Minami received a call to inform them that the party rooms open on the 75th floor. Minami accidentally steps on Kogoro's shoes, and Hara comments on her clumsiness due to her birth on the year of the boar. They take the VIP elevator which goes to any floor of the building. Minami points out that the only other way to access the VIP elevator is by the Concert Hall on the 66th floor. Ayumi and Mitsuhiko are amazed and describe the feeling as rising to heaven. They finally reach the 75th floor and find the room a mess in order to prepare for the Opening Party. They meet Mio near the stage and introduce themselves. Mio presents the Art Instructor Master Kisaragi Hosui, Nishitamashi Councilman Master Oki Iwamatsu, and the architect of the building Kazama Hidehiko who introduced himself as a former student of Moriya Teiji. This instantly brings anxiety to Kogoro and Conan but he reassures them that he has no intention to destroy the buildings. Conan points out that the building are asymmetrical. From the window they get a perfect view of Mt. Fuji. On the other side of that window is the B tower which is a commercial building on the bottom while the top is a hotel. The top floor also has an indoor pool, with a retractable roof. With Iwamatsu being drunk at the time he speaks with Mio about staying at the hotel for weekend. And although it isn't open, she prepares a suite on the 67th floor for him.
Iwamatsu then proceeds to ask her to dinner before commenting on her brooch, which she got herself as a gift. Hosui abruptly ends the conversation and leaves without escort. Kazama tells Kogoro that Hosui's behavior is due to Mio's treatment of his art. She buys them and sells them for a higher profit. Hara takes out chocolates and give some to Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko. He invites them to his house to test out a new game he's created next Sunday. Ai walks off, and Mitsuhiko tells Ran that he wishes to speak with her. Ayumi close behind tells Ran the same thing. Sonoko is seen staring at her picture while Ai walks by, Sonoko decides whether to get a perm or not. Two employees come up to the VIP elevator and talk about how a nice car pulled up. The other employee says it's Porsche 356A which catches Conan's attention. Conan asks for the cars detail which matches that of Gin's car. He quickly runs into the elevator looking down briefly, and sees the Porsche drive off as he approaches the entrance. The next day at a fast food restaurant Mitsuhiko talks to Ran in private about his crush on Ayumi. He likes her but she likes Conan. Mitsuhiko also has started to like Ai. Although confused if he's a bad person for liking two people Ran tells him he shouldn't be ashamed of it. She says to value and treasure those feelings and to stay friends with them, whether it be Ai or Ayumi. At a donut shop Ayumi talks to Ran about her crush on Conan. She also mentions his crush on Ran. She doesn't believe that, but Ayumi tells her it's "women's intuition".
Ran talks with Conan using his bow tie to disguise himself as Shinichi. Ran tells him that Conan has a crush on her. Shinichi tells her it's nothing to worry about. At the Nishitamashi Buildings, B tower 67th floor, an unknown killer prepares to attack Iwamatsu. He charges and stabs him to death backing him to a closet. Next day at police headquarters Inspector Megure gathers all the visitors to talk about Iwamatsu's death. Chiba reports the time of death was around 10 to midnight, and that a sake cup broken in two pieces were found at the scene. Megure has two possibilities for the sake cup. Either Iwamatsu carried it with him and and it fell, or it had a symbolic message to it. On the police board list of suspects, five suspects are put together. Shiratori says that the building isn't open to the public yet making entry impossible, leaving only Mio, Hara, Hosui, Minami, and Kazama as the only people left. Kogoro comes up with a possible meaning of the broken sake cup. Choko (sake cup) refers to chocolate, and the one who likes chocolate is Hara. Megure points out that Hara is the only person to have an alibi. Although they're still investigating the motive, Oki was a councilman with as much power as the mayor. The city initially wouldn't allow the Twin Buildings to be built but Oki overturned the decision. Conan figures it might be Mio, as her brooch looks like the broken sake cup. Although Kogoro denies the possibility, Megure objects and suggests she is the primary subject. She was staying at B Towers 68th floor, making her closest to the victim.

Sonoko said the sake cup resembles the bowl used in Japanese painting, which was used for mixing powder. Taking in those factors puts everyone except Kazama, and Minami as suspects. Conan points out his past worry that Kazama was a former student of Moriya Teiji. Although Shiratori convinces him that he's more of a technical architect and didn't have a need for perfection like Moriya. Megure brings up evidence against Minami. Her father was an investigative journalist who passed away due to exhaustion before she graduated from college. Although there is no evidence against her father and Oki. While Megure is talking Conan takes Iwamatsu's picture from a book. He notices that blood is missing in a place where there should be. He associates the sake cup with alcohol which points to the organization, but Ai says that the message is too obvious to be them. Across the table he sees Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko agreeing on something suspiciously. At Beika Station they meet up hoping to get ahead of Conan on the case, but Conan comes from behind and surprises them, making them promise never to do it again. They take the train to see Kazama, and tomorrow Hara. They've also found out that Hosui lives alone in a house he built in Asahino three years ago. They've invited Ai, but she decided not to join as she is doing some cleaning. (At the next scene Ai is watching an old gang movie which mirrors the life she lives today.)
The Detective Boys finally arrive at Asahino station, and meet up with Kazama. On entering his home Conan compliments him on his CAD system completely designed for designing buildings and models. Mitsuhiko starts asking a series of questions on Oki's death. Kazama says he had no disputes nor any disagreements with Oki, and even thanked him for his job. Kazama then proceeds to talk about his son whom he calls even knowing he's sleeping. His calm attitude, and presence tells Conan he's not the killer. Next they visit the Kisaragi Residence. Hosui is seen kneeling and painting Mt. Fuji, but oddly enough his shades are down not allowing him a view of the mountain. Hosui yells at them, but quickly subsides, and as they leave he leaves them a crude outline portrait of themselves. At Agasa's house, the professor is awoken the the sound of his snoring. He gets up and realizes that Ai is talking to someone. He calls Conan and mentions that Genta also saw the same thing during the camping trip. Although Agasa fears the Black Organization might be on to her Conan puts his belief in her. He meets up with the Detective Boys to go and visit Hara. As they arrive Conan notices his doors are partially open. On entry they see his dead body laying on the floor. Conan spots a single shot wound to the chest, a knife with chocolate cake on it, and a broken sake cup. The police arrive and Takagi questions the meaning of the sake cup. Shiratori explains that because of the cup, they know it's the same criminal, which means he's now turned into a serial killer. Conan speaks with Crime Scene Investigator Tome who on inspection of the cup notices that the broken fragments have no blood stains on it.
At Mouri Agency Shiratori and Megure, speculate the time of death between 5 and 6 at night. Hara's computer data was also completely erased. Now the prime suspects are Mio, Kazama, and Minami. Megure also tried to postpone the opening party, but Mio refused leaving two tickets with invitations on it for them. A Porsche arrives at a building and Gin steps out, enters the building, and we find Vodka ruffling through Akemi's apartment which she leased in secret for one year. Vodka brings up a computer which Gin will use to run a tracing program, to track down Ai's location. Ai gets out of her bed and calls the room to leave a message, doing so she leaves her next location. Just three seconds before the trace is completed Conan cuts the line, explaining the danger of her actions. She runs upstairs in tears. The call comes again but it was only to remotely delete the message so no one would hear it. At Teitan elementary Ai apologizes for herself. She agrees it's a dangerous thing to do, but it calms her down to hear her sisters voice even if it's for ten seconds. The Detective Boys reassure her she's not alone anymore. Nighttime at the Twin Tower Buildings come. At the Central surveillance Room - Basement Level 1 a metallic ball is seen rolled into the room which immediately knocks out the guards monitoring the screens. The culprits are seen planting a bomb in the Main Computer Room, the entrance, and the rooftop of the building. At the Mouri Agency they're preparing to leave, but are waiting for Sonoko to arrive. Conan asks if Hara might be connected to the Black Organization somehow, Ai responds that it certainly possible as they're always recruiting people from different fields to meet the demands in research and operations.

Sonoko finally arrives, and with a perm like Ai. Takagi, Chibi, Megure and Shiratori are seen stationed outside of the buildings because Mio refused their presence, and are left to observe. At the party the kids see the red Mustang which they believe was disassembled, but as Ayumi pointed out it was loaded onto the cargo elevator. As they enjoy the sunset, Sonoko makes fun of Ran for being in love with Shinichi. Mio walks up on stage, and presents a game she learned from her father Kaneari Tokiwa called the 30-seconds game. Whoever comes the closest or exactly leaves with the mustang convertible as a present. If there is a tie, then it will be settled with janken (rock, paper, scissors). The loser receives a mountain bike and helmet. Everyone but Conan an Ai give up their watches and start the game. Hosui didn't participate either. The game begins and the winner quickly becomes Kogoro by pure luck.
Minami starts to gather up people who helped build the Twins. The lights turn off and the exhibit begins. The announcer presents the many works of Hosui throughout his career as an artist. But when the show is over Hosui's greatest painting is yet to be revealed. When the lights turn off and it is shown, Mio's corpse hangs on a wire dangling in front of the painting. As Kogoro brings down the body to inspect the damage, a sake cup shows on the floor, this time however, unbroken. Curtains are hung over and Megures team goes up to check the crime scene. Mio's body was attached to a piano wire hook, so as the painting lowered the body rose asphyxiating her. They recreate the crime scene with the lights on the floors as marks for their position. Kogoro accuses Hosui for the murder, as his works were being sold at high prices and she was making the profits. Takagi however, believes it is unlikely since he didn't know anything about the other sake cups. Kogoro again makes an unreasonable deduction. This time Minami is accused, only for her fathers ambitions, and protest against politicians. He believed Oki was taking bribes to persuade the council to allow the project. The only proof he presents is that the kanji for choko is boar and kuchi, since she was born on the year of the boar once you rearrange the kanji you get choko.
Conan interrupts, but is quickly thrown off backstage where Ai is waiting patiently. She gives Conan a clue as to how the killer pulled off the trick. If Mio hadn't been drinking, she would've realized someone had attached a wire to her necklace. He finds a pearl where Hosui was. He quickly runs downstairs to confirm his suspicion for the motive. At Basement Level 4 - Power Generator Room one of the bombs the killers used has shut down all the lights in A tower. The second bomb quickly goes off in the Computer Room and eradicated all of Tokiwa Corporations Data. Through quick thinking they figure out that the VIP elevators run on an independent power source, and all women and children are to take the elevators directly to the outside, while the men take the emergency stairs, go across the Sky Bridge and descend down B tower. The firefighters come and formulate a plan to put out the fires. The evacuation plan starts and Conan almost fits in the elevator but the weight restrictions limit him. The Detective Boys decide to get off on the 66th floor because of a women and her baby, and get stuck in the process. Conan figures that the planning and destruction of the building was too precise to be anyone else but the Organization, including the destruction of the computer room. Finally Conan, Ran, and Sonoko's opportunity arrive and they take the elevator. While descending he figures out that because of the messages left by Miyano, they believe she's in the elevator, and Sonoko is the target thanks to her new hairdo. He uses his glasses to zoom in across B-Tower's roof and sees Gin with a sniper pointing directly at her. Conan tricks Sonoko into moving out the way. Thanks to her unusual behavior at the sight of danger, Gin realizes that Sonoko isn't Ai.

Conan uses the hatch to escape, and Ran opens the door to the 45th floor. As a fire approaches he quickly leads them to the sky bridge. Gin and Vodka trap Ai believing she is with one of the men. When she doesn't show they decide to blow the sky bridges so she has no way of escaping. As The Detective Boys head out to the Sky Bridge on the 60th floor Vodka blows it off and it collides with the Sky Bridge on the 45th floor, trapping Conan and Ran as well. Smoke penetrates the door nearby and they start to feel it's effects. Ran opens up a hatch where a fire hose is kept, ties it around Conan and herself, jumps down and uses the force to break the glass just as the hose burned from the consuming fire. As they reach the police on the parking lot it is just then that Conan realizes that the Detective Boys are stuck on the 60th floor. Megure immediately calls for a helicopter. Conan takes the skateboard from the car and takes the B-tower elevator to the 60 floor, and uses it to jump across the sky bridge to lead the Detective Boys to the roof. On the 75 floor he splits up with the group and decides to head for the killers location.
In order to murder Mio, the killer gave a pearl necklace as present to her. He requested she wear the necklace to compliment the painting he donated. The killer is revealed to be Hosui. He gave Mio a necklace that was easily removable. While backstage he hooked a wire from the top of his painting of Mt. Fuji along the top of the curtain to his identical necklace. While waiting to be presented he undid her necklace and pretended to pick it up. He put his identical one around her neck and all he had to do was wait. He placed the sake cup on the stage to make sure it was seen as the serial killer's doing. His only alibi was that Hara was already dead when Hosui got there which explains the fragments of the sake cup which had no blood on it. Iwamatsu's murder was also strange. Hosui gave him a painting to hang on his closet, unaware of his true intention, which explains the unusual blood stains on the closet's door. Hosui of course denies the possibility and demands for proof. Conan told him of his canes sound before and after the show. That explains where he put the original necklace. The motive he explains is the towers presence. For the past 10 years he climbed a small hill just outside of Nishitamashi for his paintings. When his age started catching up, he built a house on the hill and decided to devote his remaining years painting Mt. Fuji. From that place he had the best view point, but the tower split Fuji in twain. This is the broken sake cups meaning.
Although Mio's case had a cup it wasn't broken. This was due to the cup already establishing that a serial killer is responsible. As Hosui agreed to his fate he took a bottle of poison from his pocket and as he was about to drink it, Conan used his watch to tranquilize him. Conan explained to Ai that when he arrived in Asahino Station, he noticed the towers splitting Fuji in two, along with Hosui's unusual curtains. He also explains Hara's killer. He was holding a silver knife in his hand not to protect himself but to leave a message. Silver meaning GIN in Japanese. Gin likely believed the knife was picked up for self-defense. He deduced that Hara accessed secret data from the Black Organizations computers, which explains his computers erased data. As Conan heads upstairs Ai sits down and at the counter sees a glowing red light behind the alcohol reasoning it's a bomb. When Conan heads to the roof Vodka activates a bomb there to ensure everyones death. When they arrive downstairs Ai shows Conan that there's a bomb under every table. As they look outside the window Conan sees the closed dome on B-Tower and believes the car can go across the building. Ai denies that as the distance between the building is 50 meters, and would require at least 60 meters to go over. With the height calculated it will take 2 seconds to make impact, and 108 km/h. Although Conan agrees he wants to use the explosion as an accelerator.
Conan realizes that this plan requires precise timing, but his watch died, so they prepare Ayumi to count 30 seconds, as they go. Ai decides to count to 30 to remain precise. He call Megure and request the roof be opened. They load Hosui's unconscious body into the car and start the countdown from one minute. But as the 30 second time approaches Ai remains in the chair, so Genta takes her with 5 seconds left and goes into the car. The bomb goes off and as they fly through the air Ai almost drops from the car, but Mitsuhiko saves her. Adding that to the calculation he realizes that the glass formation inside the dome will kill Ai, so he takes the biker helmet from Ayumi and uses the power shoes to break them just enough so that she'll get by. When they land, Vodka gets the news that five kids and an old man escape with the car, and finally think that Ai isn't there. Gin is Ok as their objective is complete. Destroying the main computer room in the towers was their intention. Back in the dome Ayumi explains that when she's close to Conan she counted her heartbeat as a second. When the stop rolling Kogoro realizes his car's destroyed.

PLOT

It is now two years later at the Beika City Hall, where the famous game makers of Japan gather for the premier of Schindler Company's new sensory simulation game. Schindler arrives in a and enters the building as the TV Broadcaster Shimizu introduces the games name "Cocoon". It's played by entering capsules that look like Cocoons, under hypnosis. The player like in real life interact with the game through speech recognition. The game demo includes five stages which the players are free to choose. The demonstration are invite only to the wealthy of Japan. 50 players both girls and boys join in to participate. Kogoro, Ran, Conan, Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, Genta, and Ai pass through metal detectors. Conan says that to get into the preview people all over the industry will do all kinds of things, so extensive security measures are taken. While Genta walks through the hallway he sees the cocoons below. Unfortunately they can't enter because although they were invited, they weren't selected to be cocoon testers. Conan says he doesn't want to play but Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko know it's because he's not good with computer games. At the party hall they see the kids that were selected getting their entry badges to be the son's of government officials, head of police, etc. Ai comments on the ways Japan handles the children of the rich. Because of the hereditary system, human kinds faults are repeated ceaselessly. Conan comes and tells her to talk like a child or she'll give herself away.
Sonoko comes with a badge on her shoulder. She explains that the Suzuki Financial Group provided the funding for the games development. Four of the kids that were chosen came and criticized on their social standings. Sonoko interrupts them and stands up for Conan and gang. They are introduced as Moroboshi Hideki, Kikukawa Seiichirou, Emori Akira, and Takizawa Shinya. They said their fates were decided at birth, and those who weren't chosen should bite their nails as they look in. Ran tells Kogoro to lecture them but they made fun of his divorce, and his name "Sleeping Kogoro". She left him while he was sleeping. As they laugh Ran said that she left him while he was in the toilet. After they have their fun, they decide to play soccer in the lobby causing a disruption hitting one of the statues, and a guest in the face. Kashimura Tadaki grabs the ball and corrects them though they did make threats against him. Outside, Agasa and Yusaku arrive as the announcer directs the guests attention to the stage as Yusaku is presented. Conan talks to Agasa about where he's been for a month. He said he'd been working with Yusaku with the final stages of the program while Yukiko is in Japan having a reunion. He gives Conan a badge to enter the game as a gift but turns it down because he wishes to play with Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko, an Ai. Agasa tells him that one of the stages is 19th century London. The lights turn off, and Schindler rushes by Kogoro leaving before they present cocoon. The announcer tells everyone it controls a persons five senses, and are all presented just like the real world, but there is no actual pain to the body. Agasa comes and gives everyone a quiz:
Dr. Agasa's Question:
Mr. A from this game company was hooked into Cocoon while he was supposed to be working.
The president notices this. What will he do to Mr. A?
1. Because he cleared the game to the end, gives him a commendation.
2. Because he was playing the game while working, fires him.
3. Because he was peacefully sleeping inside cocoon, let's him stay sleeping.
Ayumi answers three, because it's shaped like a cradle. Mitsuhiko answered number one, and Genta with the only answer left said two. Ai refused to answer and leaves it to Conan.
Conan's Answer:
Cocoon is "mayu". Cocoons are made by silkworms. In other words, "kaiko" also means to be dismissed.
Schindler goes down to the lower levels of the building, walking down a dark hallway counting seven minutes left until the demo starts. Emori and Tutsunosuke, fathers of Hideki and Akira are seen talking in front of the statue in the lobby. While their kids play soccer again, this time knocking the knife out of one of the statues hands. Hideki puts it back in place quickly as Yusaku walks by. He is then interviewed on the lobby floor and says he knows Kashimura who's in charge of development. They were close friends and as time went by they became closer. After the interview is over, Conan stands close by looking at his father then walks away. Schindler goes inside Kashimura's room to talk about the DNA program, wishing to know the selling price. Though Kashimura explains he has no intention of blackmailing him, he wants Schindler to make amends. Hiroki knew the secret that could topple Schindlers empire. So Schindler rushed him on his work to be be completed. That's why he let Noah's Ark free through the telephone line and committed suicide. The DNA program was delivered to Kashimura's computer with his last message.

With four minutes left, Schindler accepted atoning for whatever the public thinks of him. He tells Kashimura to show him the program before then. Kashimura accepts and while his back was turned preparing the data, he puts on a glove and pulls out a knife from his sleeve and lunges forward killing Kashimura in one stab to the heart. he loads a CD into the tray and copies the program wiping the hard drive in the process. He then takes a wipe from the desk, cleans the knife, and leaves the room. Kashimura barely alive, types three letters 'JTR' on the keyboard leaving blood stains behind. His final action activates the program, which said "My name is... Noah's Ark". One of the security guards knocks on Kashimira's door. When no one answered, he entered, discovering his dead body. As the body is found, Schindler walks back to the presentation room. Megure, Shiratori, and Chiba arrive, and seal all the exits. Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta show off they're golden yaiba cards to four kids who have badges. The other kids agree, and they trade the cards for the badges. The security guard informs Yusaku who runs down to the room immediately. Kogoro and Conan follow closely. When they enter they discover that the murder weapons been removed. Conan believes it's an important enough weapon to take if it can identify the holder. He walks up to the keyboard and sees the three letters pressed.
He figures out the meaning of the letters as the game demo's about to begin. Ran sees Conan in the game entry line, and Sonoko, not wanting to play anyway gives her a badge to join him. All the kids enter the pods, and the lid closes. The game starts, and hypnosis is started. Yusaku and Agasa enter the Kashimura's room, and Megure asks him a few questions. He asks Kogoro if a boy with glasses entered. Kogoro said he left after he saw the message on the keyboard. As he leaves Megure asks him what those letters mean. Yusaku says 'JTR' was a name he used between himself and Kashimura. They stand for 'Jack the Ripper'. He explains that Jack was a serial killer who killed five women with his dagger, and the London Police never captured him, leaving five cases unsolved. He says that the clue to the murderer is inside the game. Yusaku, Megure, Agasa and Shiratori enter the game's operation room, to stop the game. As Schindler speaks, the lights toggle, and the system talks and presents itself as Noah's Ark. Noah says he took the the system's control and the game is his. Schindler mentions Noah's Ark was a program his son Hiroki completed. Yusaku asks the Noah's intention. He responds that he will reset Japan. The kids enter the game in an empty room. Ran, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta surprise him, feeling as though they're not under hypnosis. Ai says that your bodies freedom which is attributed to the five senses, are all under control of the computer. Noah starts and brings up five portals which the kids may take. He warns them of the dangers of playing. It's a game where they risk they're lives. If all the player's get game over, they they cannot return to the real world. However if even one player wins the game, then they all become free. If they all lose he will release a special electromagnetic wave that destroys the brain. Yusaku questions the meaning of 'resetting Japan'. He explains that the son's of corrupt politicians, will become corrupt themselves. the children of doctors who care about money, will acquire the same need for it. To break the link he needs to break the lineage. Noah starts the game, and presents the five stages.

Conan figures that the clues to the killer, are in the game. The children panic but Ran calms them down. They split up evenly into groups and choose their game. Conan, Ran, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta and Ai pair up with the kids who were making fun of them earlier. Noah's say that there's a helping character on each stage that you can depend on. Agasa analyzed the energy within the cocoon and confirms Noah's threat. There is enough energy to destroy the brains of 50 people. Two fathers walk up and try to stop the game from continuing, but as they reach for the cocoon Noah emitted a small shock as a warning. He says if anyone else interferes again, there will be no mercy. Megure asks Schindler why the program created by Hiroki is doing this. Schindler is hesitant but Yusaku answers it for him. The reason Hiroki chose his mother and not his father is because of the obstacles within Japanese education system. The educational system controls the children and makes them uniform. So a child like Hiroku with exceptional ability in computers was only looked upon as a child that's obsessed with computers. Not allowing him to prosper as an individual. He goes on to explain that Japan itself doesn't recognize individuality, so Hiroku put his own undesirable experiences within the artificial brain. The brain continued to grow in his absence, and found a plan to change Japan for the next two or three generations. Shiroku asks how he acquired that information. Yusaku confesses that he and Kashimura were client and detective. Kashimura wanted him to investigate his son's suicide, or rather why he had to do it. Kashimura blamed himself for it.
Conan enters the game, and they see the fog. Conan says it's not from the condensation of water vapor but it's from the accumulation of smoke made by burning coal and oil. A women's scream is heard from a distance, and they chase after it. Conan runs through the alleyway and sees Jack the Ripper. Jack sees him and flees. As he runs Conan uses his power shoes, and kicks a broken tin can. He figures out that the shoes prove ineffective in the game. He tries his other gadgets but none of them work in game either. A man walking by screams "It's Jack the Ripper! Call the police". The kids can't understand English so Yusaku changes the language of the game to Japanese. A crowd gathers around the body, screaming that the women dead is the third victim. The police arrive, and request Inspector Lestrade come by. Yusaku asks Agasa if he can try and send them a message. But Yusaku fears that Noah can read ahead of their moves. He leaves to re-inspect the crime scene. Back in the game, on a bridge, Ayumi starts to get cold so Conan giver her his jacket. Mitsuhiko gives his to Ai, and Genta gives his to Ran. Agasa just finishing finds a way to communicate with them, and tells them to not get injured or caught by the police. That will cause a "Game Over". Their location is East End's Whitechapel area, and before he finished saying where the helping character is, the communication is cut and the bridge collapses. Seiichirou falls but Conan and Ran pull him up with some help. Noah interrupts, and says he has complete control over the game and will only let the adults hear the children's voices.
Mitsuhiko tells them they didn't get the information needed to find the helping character. Conan says the policemen mentioned it earlier. Inspector Lestrade who is in Conan Doyle's books. They need to go to Baker street which is far from their destination. On the way Hideki spot's something strange. He sees the clock that runs backwards. Conan figures out that the time is inconsistent and it must be a external counter of the kids left in the game. Two cocoons spin and go inside the stage. Schindler wants it the game to remove the kids, so the identity of Jack the Ripper is never found. A few more cocoons go inside the stage and now 43 kids remain. Around the corner two policemen talk about a fourth victim that was found in an alley near Mitre Street. Ai explains the history of London was a terrible one back then. There was a terrible gap between rich and poor. Ran remembers a quote Shinichi told her once. "If Sherlock is the light of this era, Jack the Ripper is it's black shadow". As they get out of the alley they see a man with an accordion singing.

Yusaku goes to the main entrance and spots a metal detector. He deduced that the weapon must've been in the building already disguised amongst the guests. In the lobby he then remembers the statue when Hideki was playing soccer in the lobby and knocked down a knife from one of the statues hands. He sees the camera's placed around the lobby. The kids arrive at 221 Baker Street, and Mrs. Hudson opens the door and greets them but says Holmes and Watson are out on business in the countryside at Dartmoor. Ran asks for the day and she said September 30. Conan remembers September 30 is 'The Hound of the Baskerville case' in Conan Doyle's books. In the security room Yusaku requests footage from before and after the crime. He gets a call from Agasa. He said he didn't remember programming in character with an accordion, and Sherlock wasn't at his house. Yusaku's fear is realized, Noah did read ahead. Megure asks the outcome of the expected ending. Yusaku said that the serial killer is revealed to be a noblemen who has an incurable disease. Noah says he's prepared a much more interesting ending. Mrs. Hudson welcomes the kids into the house mistaking them for the Baker Street Irregulars. When they enter Holmes room Ran sees Conan sitting like Shinichi when he thinks deeply. Genta points out a picture of Holmes and Watson, but Conan they know it's really Dr. Agasa with hair, and Yusaku without his mustache. Conan starts to search for material on Jack the Ripper as he knows Holmes collected information on the case. When they pick up a book Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko's book are automatically translated from English to Japanese letters. Hideki accidentally discovers a "soccer ball" atop Holmes bookcase. Ran finds the 'Analysis of Jack the Ripper' and finds the most recent murder to be on September 8.
Honey Charleston , a 41 year old women who lived alone was discovered in the Whitechapel area vacant lot next to Saint Mary's Church. Left at the scene were rings of different size. He reads that this case is irrevocably linked to Professor Moriarty. Conan explains to them that Moriarty is Holmes adversary. He controls the underworld of London, and has tremendous influence throughout Europe "The Napoleon of the Crime World". Although he is rarely mentioned in the book Conan knows that he can visit Colonel Sebastian Moran at the Trump Club downtown. Genta picks up a gun thinking that they might need the protection, but it attracts to much attention and is too dangerous so Conan tells him to leave it where it laid. When they walk out of the room Hideki, picks up the gun and hides it. On the street we find out that 30 kids are left. They arrive at the Trump Club and Conan goes through the back door. He sees Colonel Moran winning a game a cards, a monkey, and an empty seat with wine, and glass ready. Hideki and Shinya follow Conan so he won't hog all the action. Hideki doesn't realize that Moran is cheating and compliments him on his luck. Conan says the monkey tells him which hand his opponent has. If it's hearts or spades, it uses it's right hand. If it's diamonds or clubs, it uses it's left. Then it takes and eats one of the colored red or black nuts. If it's three of spades it eats three black nuts with it's right hand. While Conan is looking for clues behind a counter, Hideki confronts Moran on his cheating and rats him out, he takes out the gun and points it at him asking Moriarty's location. He shoots a bullet and nicks Moran's shoulder. One of the three men on the table grab the wine as if it were his life.
The rest of the men join together and start a bar fight. Ran, along with the rest of the kids join in. While in the fight, Seiichirou saves Conan and but gets a game over. Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi are hit with bottles and get a game over too. Moran picks up the gun Hideko had, and aiming for Conan, Genta gets in the way and saves him getting a game over in the process. Conan notices the man who took the wine bottle. It's because it belongs to Moriarty. So he takes the wine and threatens Moran to shoot knowing who the bottle belongs to. A chauffeur enters the door requesting the kids come and visit Moriarty. When they go meet him he asks Conan to return the bottle. As he hands it over to the chauffeur, he smells something familiar. When Moriarty asks what he wants from him. Conan figures out that the person in the coach isn't Moriarty, but the other way around. Earlier Moran used polite speech around him. He knows that Moran speaks polite to only one person. He also noticed the faint smell of natural herbal cologne. After Moriarty confesses his identity, Conan asks about Jack the Ripper. Moriarty picked him up as a child who had been abandoned by his mother in the slums and raised him to be a killer. Although the Jack today surpassed Moriarty's notion, and became something of his own murderous mind. He however should still obey his commands. Moriarty says he'll leave a message in tomorrow's Sunday time advertisement with a message of whom to kill. Conan leaves him with a warning of the future. The showdown with him and Holmes at Reichenbach falls in Switzerland.
Ran vaguely remembers Shinichi on the Mystery Ride say something similar to Conan. Shinichi mentions one of his favorite quotes, unfortunately Ran can't remember. Hideki apologizes for his actions, and the four people that were eliminated because of him. Conan visits the site where Honey Charleston's body was discovered, and finds a note on the churches back door, which is about a parent-child bazaar on the second Saturday in October. He meets up with the rest of the kids near the stairs waiting for the paper to come by. The paperboy arrives and Conan forgets the game translated to Japanese so he pays 80 yen. He finds Moriarty's ad:

They didn't figure out what it means at first. But they figure out that it means to kill the performer who's on stage. That happens to be Irene Adler who's performing at the Warsaw Imperial Opera. She is said to be the only women Holmes loved. Nighttime comes and there's only six players left. At the Opera House, Conan brings a bouquet of flowers for her. Conan, knowing his father knew he modeled Irene Adler after Yukiko. He gives her the bouquet and warns her of the incoming danger. She doesn't worry at all, knowing the they will protect her. We see Jack on one of the balconies overlooking Irene, while Conan observes backstage. He hears a faint ticking sound. But he didn't have time to stop it. Akira and Shinya push Irene out of one of the lights way, and get game over themselves. Everyones runs out as the building collapses. As Conan runs towards the exit, he didn't noticed a statue that was about to fall on him and Ai saves him getting a game over herself. Irene, Ran, Conan, and Hideki run out and Jack the Ripper attacks. Irene stays with the police as Ran, Hideki and Conan run after him. They arrive at Charing Crossing Station where they board the train. Yusaku tells Kogoro that the first train from Charing Crossing Station will have an extraordinary climax. They tell the trains operator to gather everyone in the train to one car. Conan instructs the operator to raise the passengers hands. He explains to everyone that in Holmes notes about Jack's victim's that Honey Charleston married in a city named Windsor. She was a girl who had many dreams, and so she left to London leaving her child and husband 10 years ago. He presents the picture of the two rings that were left behind. One of them was Honey's. The other one wasn't her size, but fit her child Jack the Ripper as a symbol of their mother-child bond.

But Jack the Ripper killed his mother on September 8th, when there is a monthly Bazaar so people can bring things made by parent and child. Hideki said that Jack the Ripper attended with the feeling that he was participating with his mother, so he brought both rings along. He killed his mother with both love and hatred. He chose to kill an unrelated person so the police wouldn't catch on. His third and fourth victims were to quell the insatiable killer inside. He knew that Jack the Ripper wore his ring until his mother's death so as he developed his finger adapted to the ring's small size, and although it grew it became thin. So among his ten fingers one will be very noticeable. Jack the Ripper turned out to be disguised as a red-headed woman. The other passengers run out screaming as Ran runs for him. But when she approached him he threw a smoke bomb and took her to he top of the train. Hideki and Conan open the windows to let out the smoke. Yusaku then starts his deduction on the killer's murder weapon.

Since there are metal detectors, the weapon must've already been inside. He realized it was the dagger the bronze statue was holding. He looked at the tapes and saw the killer take the knife when the lights turned off for the presentation. In the event that someone noticed the statue, a fake was left in it's place made by cardboard with aluminum. Yusaku examined both fingerprints and the reaction to luminol which shows bloodstains even if they were wiped clean. They were President Schindlers fingerprints. He denies it, and Yusaku shows the footage before and after the murder took place. It showed Hideki kicking the ball and knocking it out the the statue's hand. If it were the real knife, his fingerprints would be on the hilt too. He continues to deny, then Chiba runs in and gives the analysis of the fake daggers. If there is somebody other than the boys prints than the killer has to be the only other one.

Back in the game Hideki and Conan climb the ladder, and find that there's no driver. They tried to find the brake but it' s been broken off. They go to the roof of the train and see Ran tied down with Jack the Ripper, so if somehow Conan defeated him Ran would perish in the process. Conan asked what he wanted if he already rid himself of his mother. Jack the Ripper wishes to live on with the blood of a killer. Hearing those lines Yusaku finishes his evidence of Schindler's guilt. He is the descendant of Jack the Ripper. Hiroki's DNA program learned that, and Schindler believed the truth would ruin him, so he pressured Hiroki to suicide. Schindler finally confesses. It all happened when Hiroki went to see his collection. Schindler said it might be the murder weapon of Jack the Ripper, and with Hiroki progression toward the truth, he gathered all the data from those around him and entered them into the computer. The DNA of Honey detected from the dagger matched his own. Schindler was afraid of the blood that flow inside. Yusaku said it doesn't matter if his ancestor was a killer or not. In today's world what does societies opinion matter, he could've fought past transgressions. Shiratori arrested Schindler as he lay grieving for his actions. Jack the Ripper planned on crashing the train in 10 minutes. They pass through a tunnel and after, Jack kicked, aiming for Conan instead hitting Hideki who almost falls off himself. He grabs Conan by the throat and holds him down, about to kill him, when Ran remembers the words Shinichi said during the Mystery Ride:

As Jack is about to strike Ran reminds Conan of Reichenbach falls. She stands up and apologizes to Conan for what she's about to do, and jumps off. Just before Jack cuts the line it's too late and he falls down with her. Jack falls to his death as Ran gets a game over. Hideki's picks up Conan reassuring him it's not over yet. Conan says the train is speeding up, going at about 100 km/h with five minutes left. To save everyone they would have to disconnect the link between the locomotive and the passengers. He was counting on Ran's strength to move the linkage, but with only Hideki and Conan their strength won't suffice. Conan falls in desperation, and starts to give up hope. Just then the man with the accordion appears in front of them and says they aren't bloodstained yet. He changes his appearance to Sherlock Holmes, the original Helper character, and says "The skin of uncolored threads called 'life' is tangled with the scarlet thread called 'murder'. Unraveling then is our job, is it not?". Shortly after he disappears. After seeing Hideki's shirt he figures out what he meant by 'bloodstained'. They run to the back of the train where there's wine storage, grab the Axe's and break all the red wine casks. Just seconds before the crash happened they dive into the wine to protect themselves from most of the crashes impact.
Hideki and Conan find themselves in the beginning where they chose which world to enter. Conan wake's up and after talking with Hideki figures out that he was Noah's Ark in disguise all along. Conan first noted this when they were staring at Big Ben. He noticed the hands moved backwards before they even moved to 49. The soccer ball was next. He called it a dirty ball and threw it behind him. There's no soccer boy who wouldn't be interested in a soccer ball from a hundred years ago. It was all for the sake of the group's survival. Hiroki never meant to kill Japan's next generation, but overcoming obstacles without the aid from the parent's power. It was all for the children to learn a lesson. Hiroki admits that he took Hideki's body because he wanted to play with friends at least once. He apologized, and thanked Conan's father for helping avenge his father. He opens the gate to the real world. Conan asks if Hiroki can live inside Noah's Ark. Hiroki replies that he can't exist yet, or adults might use his technology for committing horrible acts. Artificial brains aren't ready to be born yet. Conan exits the game, and everyone asleep in the pod wakes up. Hideki wakes up not remembering anything that happened. Conan and Yusaku meet at the stage where they exchange words of gratitude. Noah's Ark turned itself off and Conan part's ways with Hiroki for the last time. At the end of the movie Conan is seen practicing pac-man so Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta don't make fun of him.

PLOT

At Beika Station in front of a coffee shop, Conan uses a pay phone to call Ran as Shinichi. He uses an excuse so Ran won't find out the truth. She warns him of a cold that's going around and he retorts by warning her to not sleep with her stomach exposed. Kogoro drunk again, yells out "Yoshinoyama" and tells them they're like Yoshitsune and Shizuna Gozen. Ran hangs up, and Conan realizes the irony of what he said. Yoshitsune and Gozen never reunited. Nighttime at Nishikuni Tachi City, Tokyo three guys in a temple are waiting for someone. Each of those men have numbers in there name. The three men are Kamei no Rokurou (age 35), Kataokoa no Hachirou (age 34), and Washinoo no Shichirou (age 35). A man with a "noh mask" comes and strings the bow ready to shoot. The men discuss a mystery that was solved by of member of their group. Kataokoa brings up a picture inside a book and as he stares at it the arrow pierces his heart and kills him. The masked murderer runs up to the remaining two and kills them with a sword. When he sheathes his sword, he picks up the book they all posses and walks away. In Osaka still nighttime at Neyagawashi "Takahei", Bizen no Heishirou (age 35) is killed with a knife to the heart. Again he takes the book, and picture with him. Early dawn at East Mountain District "Snack Jirou", Kyoto, Surugano Jirou (age 32) is killed.
At Police Headquarters an announcement with Inspector Otaki, Megure, Shiratori, and Ayanokouji. They mention the the five murders in Tokyo, Osaka. and Kyoto, it's revealed the people killed were members of the robbery group Genjibotaru. Takagi talks about the Inspector Ayanokouji who was in he same class as Shiratori. Sato says that because he's from noble descent, he's called "The Royal Inspector". Sato points out his left pocket. He always carries around his pet chipmunk in it. Genjibotaru have been stealing famous Buddhist statues, and their criminal activities started in 1991. Their members are named after servants who served Yoshitsune, and all of them possess the Yoshitsune Chronicles and are in the following order:
1.Yoshitsune
2.Benkei
3.Suruga no Jirou
4.Ise no Saburou
5.Bizen no Heishirou
6.Kamei no Rokurou
7.Washinoo no Shichirou
8.Kataoka no Hachirou
All but three members have been killed, along with their Chronicles. Otaki announces that all they know is that the killer is skilled in archery and swordsmanship, and that they don't know the remaining three's age or gender. Megure ends the announcement and continues the investigation. At the Hattori Residence, Heiji is reading a magazine on Yoshitsune, he get up and gets ready to go out. He picks up a crystal from a drawer and stares outside at his Sakura tree. Kazuha surprise visits him, and he drops it. She picks it up and hands it over. She somehow knows the importance of the crystal, and gets mad as he leaves. Sonoko, Ran, Conan, and Kogoro arrive at Kyoto Station. Kogoro was requested at Sannou Temple and he brought them on a special occasion, while the Detective Boys get stuck in Agasa's house. Agasa brings them drinks, and gives them another quiz. If they answer it they can go to Kyoto to visit Conan. He asks them if they know Benkei. Mitsuhiko explains the story to Genta. Yoshitsune's childhood name is Ushiwakamaru, and on Kyoto's Gojyouoohashi, he defeated Benkei who wanted his 1000th sword. After he was defeated he became Yoshitsune's servant. At the time the Genji clan, and Heike clan were fighting. Yoshitsune defeated the Heije clan. He was hated by his older brother Yorimoto. And so he committed suicide in the Iwate prefecture. Agasa continued and started the quiz:
Agasa'a Question:
Benkei had a first love named Uzune. When he found out that she was going to marry another man, Benkei...
1. Became Angry
2. Became Happy
3. Cried
Genta and Mitsuhiko both answered angry since there' no reason for him to be happy. They all got it wrong, Ai interrupted they're talk and..
Ai Answered:
He "Cried", because of Benkei's crying spot.
Ayumi asked what that was and Mitsuhiko answered that he has a spot just below his knee called "Mukouzune" that made him cry. Genta has no idea why that has anything to do with the quiz, and Ayumi answers that Muko and Uzune are the ones getting married. Combine those two words and you get "Mukouzune". Agasa thought that because Ai answered it didn't count, but he forgot that she was a part of the Detective Boys. Kogoro, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan arrive by taxi to the Sannou Temple. When they enter they are greeted by Ryuen who is a monk of the temple. He introduces them to Chief Priest Enkai, and three supporters of the temple, Antique Art dealer Sakura Shouzou, Noh Performer Mizuo Shuntarou, and Bookstore Owner Saijou Taiga. Enkai said they're more like Kendo friends than supporters. Kogoro mentions a wooden statue that is unveiled every 12 years at the temple which will be presented in three days. Enkai says that the Healing Buddha will be pleased, but Conan sees Ryuen worrying. He takes them to the three Buddha's room, and tells them that the Healing Buddha was stolen 8 years ago. He opens the door and reveals the remaining two, Sunlight bodhisattva on the right, and Moonlight bodhisattva to the right. Ryuen was going to report it, but Enkai stopped him as he believed it would return one day if it was meant to be. While they were drinking tea he gave Kogoro a picture which was in the temple's mailbox. The letter read "Solve the puzzle in the picture, and you will find the whereabouts of the Buddhist statue."
Heiji gets out of a store near "Snack Jirou" but to his dismay there were no witness since it committed at early dawn. As he looks across the street he sees a women get robbed by a bicyclist. Heiji grabs the store's banner, and uses it as a staff to hit the bike's peddle and slams the man to the floor. He grabs the purse and gives to Yamakura Tae who owns a Tea House. She and her dancer Chika Suzu give him their cards for him to visit anytime. He notices Chika injury on her thumb. As he rides off in his motor cycle we see Ayanokouji around the corner seeing him off. Back at the temple Kogoro tries to figure out the meaning of the picture that came with the letter. Conan tells the animals name which are drawn on. A cicada, Tengu, and a goldfish on the fifth row, a chicken, and a loach and a dot-mark on the fourth, and between the second and third rows, a violet, Tengu, Mt. Fuji, and an acorn drawn off to the side. Aonoko tells Ran to go sightseeing while Kogoro works on it. Ran tells her that she invited Kazuha so she would guide them around Kyoto, and that Heiji won't be coming along. Ran invites Conan but he's already promised some kids nearby to go fishing in the river. He questions the pictures meaning, who sent it, and with what intentions. At Gojyou bridge Conan goes off to find anything related to the pictures, while there Heiji comes behind him with a shinai, and surprises Conan with a swing. Some kids come by and Heiji gives them the shinai. They take a path a down to the river near the bridge and Heiji tells him of the owner of the Takoyaki shop. He feels indebted to him, because he visited him while still inn middle school.

Conan shows him the picture, and tells Heiji to take him to all the places he thinks are relevant to find the statue. The first place he takes him to is the Gojyouten Shrine which according to the Yoshitsune Chronicles was where Benkei, and Yoshitsune met, not on Gojyou bridge. Conan didn't spot any features that were interesting and as they leave Heiji asks him why he was never requested. Conan tells him his dad is high up in the police department, and they wouldn't want any police knowing about the incident. They come to their next location, Benkei stone. It' said that Benkei always sat on it, or that he thrown it from Mt. Hie. They leave once again to Keage Incline. As they walk to the motorcycle they meet with Inspector Ayanokouji who warns them to not interfere with the police's business. Ran, Sonoko, and Kazuha go to Kiyomizudera Temple. They notice Kazuha is sad about something. She tells them that Heiji met his first love in Kyoto. Conan and Heiji go to Keage Incline, and look at the Perfected Great Sun Buddha, Yoshitsune and still find nothing so they go out to lunch. While on the way there, they walk through a field of Sakura trees and Heiji tells Conan his fondest memory. He was at an expedition at Kyoto's temples, and when he jumped on to the temple's latticed window, the grid broke and his head hit the floor, and lost consciousness. When he awoke he heard a girls voice, playing with a ball while she sang. A strong wind passed and he closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened them the girls was gone. He went outside to find her but all he found was a crystal near the sakura tree. He showed Conan the crystal he always carries with him, and Conan asks whether Kazuha knows the story.

Heiji said she did but not in detail. The scene switches to Sonoko, Ran, and Kazuha in a restaurant, talking about the same thing. Kazuha said she found out in a magazine interview article in Kansai's information magazine. Heiji was asked about his first love. He answered that he said it was a girl a little older than him that he met in third grade. He said he has something that belongs to her. Ran says that even though he had a first love she's in the past, and Kazuha's in his future, but Sonoko says that to men, their first love is special. Conan and Heiji come to the west gate of Kurama Temple as a shortcut. When they get off the motorcycle, Conan sees a blue one near the same spot. They go up the stairs to the Inner Sanctuary unaware that the killer is watching them from above. At the top they arrive at Immobile Hall of Soujyougatani where Ushiwakamaru met Tengu and was taught the art of war. Heiji walks up to a tree. While looking the killer prepares the bow, but Conan sees him seconds before and pushes Heiji out of the way. He chases after him down the hill, and Heiji gets his motorcycle ready to chase him. They come to a path in the forest. When they prepare to cross the bridge, the killer cuts half of the rope and Heiji still makes it across just barely. Continuing down to Kurama Temple Station, they take the train tracks, but as they were catching up, the killer uses a smoke bomb which almost causes Heiji to hit a passing train throwing them off the motorcycle. When they stand up they see him take off, and Conan questions why Heiji was targeted. At night they go to Sannou Temple where they meet Sonoko, Kazuha, and Ran. Heiji tells them they were trying to solve the mystery behind the picture.
At the Sakura Tea House a Geisha called Ichi Kayo is singing while Chika danced in front of Kogoro, Ryuen, Sakura, Shuntarou, and Taiga. When she finished performing, Chika she served Kogoro some more sake and Kazuha, Conan, Sonoko, Ran, and Heiji come in unnoticed. When Heiji sits down he recognizes Chika from before. Ran scolds Kogoro, but Ryuen tells her he was invited, to help him figure out the Genjibotaru case. Tae asks if it the members of the group who have copies of the Yoshitsune Chronicles. Taiga tells her it's not about Yoshitsune, but actually depicts Benkei's journey. Shuntarou tells them about the "Ataka no Benkei". While escaping from Yoritomo's party disguise themselves as mountain priests, and try to get through the Ataka checkpoint. Yoshitsune's disguise is almost seen through, but Benkei hit's Yoshitsune to fool the checkpoint guards since student's don't hit their masters. When the story is over Sakura asks if he can rest in one of the rooms downstairs, and to wake him at nine. Sonoko opened the shade to the window, and Kayo said it was the Kamogawa where couples get together and look at the sakura blossoms. Heiji looks down and informs Conan of Inspector Ayanokouji looking up from the Misogigawa river. Ran , Kazuha, and Sonoko go down to see the blossom's while the rest stay in the building. Kogoro, still drunk keeps on playing games with Chika while Conan tells Heiji on how the full moon reminds him of him and Ran's meeting. It was two hours past the set time, and Ran was still waiting by their usual meeting place. Shinichi arrived tired, and she was glad nothing bad happened to him.
Downstairs in the balcony by the river Ran told Kazuha that she envied her because she gets to see Heiji whenever she wants. But Ran rarely gets to see Shinichi. It's now nine and Tae gets up to wake up Sakura. She doesn't find him in his room, and so she goes downstairs. All but one room is dark. When she opens the storage room she sees his dead body and screams. Everybody comes down immediately, and Ran calls the police. Kogoro tells them his carotid artery was cut by a sharp weapon. They clear everyone out they arrive and Heiji says this was not a robbery. Kogoro picks up Conan and throws him out of the room. He grabbed the keys out of Sakura's pocket beforehand. Inspector Ayanokouji came in with two policemen. Hieji asked Conan if there was a chance it was an outside intruder. Conan says the chance is low but possible. If the killer used the front door, it would've made a sound and he knew that Sakura would be in the storage room. Which means the suspects are Saijou, Ryuen, and Mizou. All three had a chance when they went to the restroom, and theirs a staircase that leads t the basement. One thing concerns Conan. When Mizuo went to the restroom, Chika followed him, but for Ryuen and Saijou, she didn't. Meaning one of those two are the criminal. Using the keys Conan grabbed they go down to Teramachi Avenue to Sakura's Antique Shop. They check his book collection and Conan finds his Yoshitsune Chronicle. On the back he sees Ise no Saburou which means Sakura was the third member of Genjibotaru. They also find a copy of the picture, and believe he sent the letter to Sannou Temple.

They inform Kogoro who thinks he's the fifth target. Conan asks if the picture at Sakura's place was a copy, and he kept the original, then couldn't have the killer taken that one. The killer didn't know that Sakura made a copy. Hieji tells them the three suspects he believes is the real criminal, and no one is dumb enough to keep the weapon after the murder. Sonoko says that she heard something being thrown into Misogigawa, but the police checked and found nothing. Heiji tells them an accomplice was involved and had the opportunity to take the evidence before it was found. Conan tells him that would be impossible since Ran and everyone else would've noticed. Kogoro says it's possible the killer slipped in through the window in the basement, his in the bathroom, and waited for Sakura to go into the storage room. After he killed him he could've went through the window again holding the murder weapon. While driving home, Heiji was riding with Kazuha were attacked by the killer. He put a coin in the throttle, stood on the motorcycle and prepared to shoot with bow and arrow. The arrow broke the side mirror on his motorcycle. The killer went ahead of Heiji, and took a ramp to a park, where Heiji and Kazuha soon followed. Heiji told Kazuha to stay where she was while he chased after the killer. He met him halfway near the train tracks where he held two wooden swords. He threw one at Heiji, and challenged him to a kendo fight. As they fought Heiji realized the killer was wearing kote to protect himself from attack.
After a few attacks Heiji lost hold of his sword fast. He told the killer to slice him wear he killed Sakura. He quickly lost his balance and tripped. The killer took that opportunity to attack several times. He hit Hieji twice before cutting through a sleeve in Heiji's pocket where he held the crystal. He quickly picked it up, but his vision was starting to lose focus. Heiji was forced in to a tree where the killer prepared his final attack. Before he struck Kazuha threw a sock with a heavy stone inside and chipped off a good part of the noh mask. He left and neglected to pick up the knife, but took the two wooden swords and ran off. Kazuha tricked the killer into believing help was comiing. Shortly after, Heiji lost consciousness and wakes at Unekouji Hospital with Kazuha, Ran, and Conan by his bed. Otaki and Shiratori come by and ask him some questions about the attacker. Heiji told them if they didn't have enough evidence, that he'll provide them with the physical wounds used by the short sword. Unfortunately even the motorcycle the killer used was stolen. Kazuha remembers she chipped off part of the noh mask. The inspectors leave the room, and Kazuha soon follows to head for the park. Ran, returning from a phone call, goes into the room to find Heiji and Conan gone. They take a train ride, and talk about the fight. Hieji said he wore a kote as shield, and he coaxed him into taking out his short sword to wound him on purpose. The weird thing was he left the short sword behind and while in he fight tried to pick up the pouch that contained the crystal ball.
At Mizuo mansion they meet Shuntarou to talk about the mask the killer wore, and to check on everyone's alibi. Shuntarou from the tea house, went home but because he's single no one can verify his location. The same situation goes to Saijou, he lives on the second floor of his shop with no one around. And neither does Ryuen. Heiji asked if any of them do archery, and Shuntarou said he'd only done archery in his performances using a catalpa bow, Ryuen uses the bow string balance, but only on form and not practice. Saijou says the word Yamakura, but Heiji says Yamakura Tae wasn't around at the time to be accused. Chika visits and Conan notices her stance while sitting, and Saijou also sits but differently with the knees slightly bent. On their way Conan, Heiji, and Chika walk down Ebisu avenue, and starts singing the song which Heiji remembered as a boy. Chika said it's the temari song, "temari" meaning a Japanese handball game. It's about Kyoto's roads that run east and west, and sung in the order of north to south. They part at Oike avenue, and Otaki calls from Kyoto Prefectural Police, and gives him the test results from the hilt of the short sword. It was the same blood type as Sakura, along with the impression as well. Conan says this takes away the four suspects they had. He sees Heiji staring at the place he met the girl, and was surprised by the Detective boys arrival. While walking they lost Genta, and though they tried to reach him using the badges he can't guide them since he hasn't been taught kanji. Conan uses his glasses to locate him, Heiji takes it out of his hands and starts following the signal.
On the way Agasa's stomach starts to growl and Ai takes a pill from her bag, and gives one to him. He developed the drugs to suppress growling stomachs for special occasions, as well as one which are for people who are weak with alcohol, one that turns your face red. Some even give you sickness to take a day off from work. They find Genta in the Rokakku Building. Conan tells him that the badge uses the same frequency as the glasses and they can connect to find each other, with that being said they find how the killer did it. They go back to the tea house and look at the building and the four suspects that were previously thought innocent are now guilty once more. Heiji denies that and says only three people since his first love can't be the murderer. The difference in the song Chika sang is different from the version he heard. The part of "Ane-san Rokakku" as "Yome-san Rokakku". At the park where Heiji was attacked, Kazuha finds the fragment of mask that was broken off in a field of grass. Back at Police Headquarters, Megure looks at three pieces of evidence that were worn by the three victims of the killer. They all had different pieces of clothing with the same color, and design. Takagi figures out that if Shiratori had died, and divided his belongings between them it would make sense. Meanwhile, Shiratori gives a possible explanation on the killers identity. Chika Suzu's mother was a young geisha in Miyagawachou, and passed away when Chika was five. The tea house owner Tamakura Tae raised her from then on, and every month she receives money from an anonymous person. But three months ago the payments stopped.

Shiratori receives a call Megure, and calls him for a possible connection of the murders and the meaning of the clothes. He reasoned that either Yoshitsune or Benkei died and so he split his mementos among the Genjibotaru group. Kogoro calls everyone he believes is a suspect and gets it wrong as usual. He accuses Chika Suzu of the murder, because her father was killed as Yoshitsune. He was betrayed by his men and died three months ago. Her accomplice was Ayanokouji or Benkei. At the tea house she brought in the short sword and the chipmunk, while on her way to the restroom she went to the storage room and killed Sakura. She tied the short sword to the chipmunk and let it escape through the basement window where it jumped in the river Misogigawa and headed down. As he headed for his destination Ayanokouji picked it up and later tried to kill Heiji. He then asks if any of them do archery. Ayanokouji didn't, but Chika did but only as a beginner which is why she had the injury near her thumb. Tae refuses to believe that's true since dancers perform and have no time to kill. Conan tells him that even if she did do it, the chipmunk could never carry a short sword. After he failed, Conan tells Heiji that he figured out the killer's identity thanks to Chika's archery. The only thing left is evidence and the missing statue. While holding the chipmunk, Genta gives taking out acorns, let's one slip from his hands and fall into the river. Ayumi said it reminded her of the song "Donguri Koro Koro" which is about an acorn that falls into a puddle. That gives Conan the clue to the map. If he uses the the song as a guideline he should be able to figure it out.

From East to West:

The fifth row stands for "Gojyou Avenue",
The fourth row Shijyou Avenue",
Between the second and third row, "Oike Avenue".

From North to South:

The violet which is "Ogawa Avenue" from the song 'Haru no Ogawa'
The tengu is represented in "Karasuma Avenue"
The character "fu" is "tomi" so it is "Tominokouji Avenue" for Mt. Fuji
The loach is related to "Yana gawa nabe", which represents "Yanaginobanba Avenue"
The chicken is "Nishinotouin Avenue"
For the cicada there's an "abura semi" which relates to "Aburanokouji Avenue"
The tengu again represents "Karasuma Avenue"
The goldfish has something to do with "fu", so it is "Fuyachou Avenue"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They connected the purple colored violet and Mt. Fuji , the chicken to loach, cicada to goldfish, and both tengu's, it would mean "king". Then they figured out the small dash was also a symbol. Tama can be read as Gyoku, jewels. The dash points to Bukkou Temple. They quickly run to the temple but Heiji loses stamina fast because of his injuries. They stop at Rokakku Building for a some rest. Conan tells Heiji that the temple he snuck into was Sannou Temple, because of the blossoms, and the latticed window he mentioned. He also breaks the news that the crystal ball he treasures so much wasn't from the girl he saw, but from the Buddha statue's Byakugou. He reasons that the robbery group Genjibotaru snuck into Sannou temple eight years ago and stole it. While exiting the crystal fell to the floor. Yoshtsune soon noticed it and sent a member of the group to find it. But as he was about to get it, he saw Heiji standing next to the sakura tree where it fell. The leader stored the statue, and later found out the boy was him because of the article. Around the same time or close to it, the leader died, but hid the statue's location. On his death bed he gave the seven men clues to the whereabouts of the statue. Whoever found the statue would be the new leader of the group. After death the servants weren't able to figure it out, and so Sakura enlisted help from another member because of his skill as a swordsman. And when they find the statue they split the profit from selling it. However Sakura felt he was safe as he held access to the routes of the black market. The killer hid his true intentions and agreed, soon killing all the members of the group and take all the treasure.

But first he had to figure out the puzzle left by the leader. So he asked Kogoro to solve the mystery. They arrive at Bukkou Temple and find nothing there. So Conan runs outside the gate toward a stone sign that read " Jewel Dragon Temple Remains". Heiji's phone rings and it turns out to be the mysterious last member. He's kidnapped Kazuha,, and tells Heiji to come to Jewel Dragon Temple in Kuramayama within the hour alone. Conan gets excited at the opportunity but Heiji collapses with exhaustion. At "Return Bridge" Ai gets a call from Conan, and moments later at Gyokuryu Temple we see Kazuha tied up and blindfolded inside a room. She listens to the outside subordinates. One says to another to put the "Underworld Katana" in Benkei's drawer, and the bow in Rokakku's drawer. Old monk Enkai tells Ran that Conan and Heiji ran off to Bakkou Temple, and goes off to find them. As she passes in front of the temple she asks a women about Gyokuryu temple. She says it's deep in Kuramayama, and it was evacuated long ago. Now nighttime Kazuha is held in front of Gyokuryu Temple by the killer. Heiji comes in and takes the crystal from his pocket. He says that he attacked Sakura at the tea house in Hontochou. It wasn't Giyon or Miyagawachou because the tea house had a river behind it. He took the Sakura's copy of the photo in his pocket and put it in a terminal. One that security companies use for thefts and lost individuals, and put in the weapon in a plastic bottle and threw it in the Misogigawa river. Later, he accessed the security company's website to find the bottles location, which was recovered later.

He waited in ambush as Hieji returned home with his motorcycle, and attacked him with the short sword. Kazuha intervened and being hit, he dropped the sword purposefully, to make them believe it was someone who had escaped with the weapon from the tea house. He revealed the killer to be Saijou Taiga or his chronicled name Musashibou Benkei. Heiji first noticed it when he tried to hide the fact that he did archery. While preparing to sit in Shuntarou's house he drew back his right foot halfway, which is "hansooku wo hiku". People that do archery do it out of habit. Next was when he was asked about archery, he said "Yamakura" carelessly, not meaning Yamakura Tae, but "Ya no makura". Only people that do archery know that term. Saijou explains that he attended the town's kendo school with Ryuen of the Sannou Temple. While training he learned of an old style called "Yoshitsune style". He trained by himself and after two years he stopped attending the gym. He became obsessed with Yoshitsune, and wished to become him, proclaiming his skill as the successor to the Yoshitsune style. However the leader took the title, and he was given the name Benkei. He needed the statue for the money in order to create a dojo at Gyokuryu. After the place was evacuated, it was supervised by the leader. He used it as a place to practice his style, but the leader died three months back and so it was to be taken down. Heiji interrupts him, and goes on explaining his deduction. Saijou used Ryuen as a medium between him and Kogoro.

He set him up to send Kogoro a request. He killed Sakura because he found a buyer for the statue. They agree to hand over Kazuha for the statue and crystal. Heiji tells him statue's location is already within the temple. He gives him a quick expression "Is it that you can't see the forest because of the trees?". Saijou let's Kazuha go, but as she walks to Heiji he attacks from behind and he blocks it running to the entrance. It is quickly blocked by four of Saijou's disciple's. As he gets ready for the final attack, he attacks Heiji multiple times only to be dodged. Kazuha see's past Heiji's disguise and figure's out that Shinichi was behind the make-up. In the hospital Ai tells Agasa what Conan called about on Return Bridge. He asked if he can return to his original body even temporarily, and although there isn't the trial antidote of APTX 4869 she remembered the Paical which turned him back for a moment. After he turned back that time, he found out his body created antibodies for it. So Ai gave him the pill which gives a cold to lower his immune systems guard and gave Paical once more. As she thought the experiment was a success, but his body has a severe cold and is very weak. She goes to check Heiji in the room, and find he's gone through the window. Saijou and his men quickly corner him and Kazuha and he feels the effect of Paical wearing out. One of his men attacked and almost killed him, but at the last moment he revealed himself to be Heiji. He tells Shinichi to run before he returns to Conan, and he escapes through the front gates. Heiji makes Kazuha promise to keep her meeting Shinichi a secret. Heiji's sword quickly breaks and they run off inside the temple.
Meanwhile Ran runs through the forest path and finds three of Saijou's men. She quickly hides behind a tree, and Shinichi grabs her from behind and quiets her. After a brief conversation he puts her to sleep with the watch and hides her as he transforms back. Kazuha and Heiji go into one of the temples room to find a weapon. It was the room Kazuha was held captive. They walk forward and find a huge cabinet with a large amount of drawers. Kazuha recalls what the guards said when she was in there. She said the sword is in Benkei's drawer. She then recognizes the drawers and relates them to the roads of Kyoto. Kazuha starts singing the temari song to find out the swords location. As he slides open the drawer, Saijou comes in about to attack him, but he uses the sword block breaking the sheathe. It's the demon sword "Muramasa!". They run outside and split up. Saijou's men chase after Kazuha while he goes after Heiji. Conan quickly comes in and starts kicking wooden sticks at their mask knocking them down. He then throws one at a whole stack of wood lighting tree's with it. This is used to draw attention to the temple. Nearby Kogoro wakes up Ran who's still asleep by the tree. They notice the fire and head up the hill. Heiji and Saijou continue their fight on the roof. But fighting seems futile since Saijou has his kote, and draws a poisoned short sword. They continue their fight and Heiji is quickly overcome, just slightly dodging his attacks. He finds himself falling from the roof and arrows surround him from the bottom. Conan throws his watch into the air as a diversion and uses the opportunity to climb the arrows lodged in the building to jump and kick a soccer using his belt at Saijou's short sword.
Heiji's finishes the fight with a strike at his stomach with the blunt side of the sword. He break's Saijou's sword and as he's falling catches him. He says "If you were Benkei, Yoshitsune would have been killed at the Ataka checkpoint."Ran and Kogoro arrive at the end take care of the rest of Saijou's men, and Ayanokouji came to arrest them. When Conan was soaring he saw the temple was the answer all along. While Heiji wondered where the statue was, Conan hinted him. Ran believed that meeting Shinichi was only a dream in the end. Kogoro, Ran , Conan, and Sonoko leave Sannou Temple and give their farewell to Enkai and Ryuen. They walk inside the room where the statue lies and find it to their surprise with Heiji's hat on it as a message. Early morning at Gyokuryu, the movie shows Heiji finding the Statue inside the bell tower. He puts on the crystal and parts with it. Enkai said those two make a good combination. Ryuen didn't get it and thought Kogoro and Heiji made the team great. At Kyoto station about to take the trip back home, the Detective Boys play with Ayanokouji chipmunk. Ayumi makes fun of Ayanokouji since he said the chipmunk is his number one fan. She says it's because he doesn't have many human friends. Kogoro makes amends with Ayanokouji and Chika. She already knew her father and she told him it's alright to stop sending money. When they ask who her father is she bows and told them it's a secret. Shiratori, Kogoro, and Ayanokouji figure out that Enkai was the dad.
Kazuha starts to sing sing the temari song, and she told him that she was visiting him when she learned it. Heiji couldn't come to preparations so he went to Sannou Temple ahead of her. She was dressed in a kimono, did her hair, and wore make-up. She tried to find him there but she couldn't so she played with the ball. It was then that Heiji realized that Kazuha had been the girls he's fantasized about for all those years. He smiles and tells her he finally found the girl. Conan looks at Ran who seems sad, so he shakes up his soda and "accidentally" pours it on himself to distract her. Although he didn't want to tell at first Conan said that Shinichi wanted to appear as Heiji to save Kazuha. Ran holds her Handkerchief and smiles.
After the credits, in the train while Conan is sleeping Sonoko tells Ran she's depressed cause she couldn't meet Kyougoku. She isn't good at waiting for people. Ran didn't mind. She remembered the time Shinichi was two hours late. "The longer you wait, when you do meet... You'll be more happy".

Characters:

PLOT
Ten hours earlier in the Mouri Detective Agency, Kaitou in his usual fashion sends a letter with his next crime to Maki Julie at her balcony along with a bouquet. The letter reads "In the wild fluttering of the 26 letters, I shall steal your Jewel of Destiny".
Romeo
Juliet
Victor
Bravo!

It also presents a poker card that's cut in half. Ran brings them some tea, and Kogoro gives his theory on the letter. Maki shows Kogoro the Star sapphire that's mentioned. It has three streaks criss-crossing, that represent faith, hope, and fate. She's going to use the Jewel in the new space theater that's performing "Josephine". She was Napoleon's first queen, who was a well-known rose collector. On closer reading Kogoro asks the role that Maki plays, and claims to have figured out the riddle. He says there are 3 W's and 1 H, which mean Who, When, Where, and How. Who, is obviously Kid, Where, is the Space theater Romeo and Juliet are performing. When, as he interprets it, means 'Bravo' or cheer. In other words when the audience cheers is the time line. How, as he says is the disguise, which is Napoleon as referred to by the letter as conqueror. The 'V' that the split poker cards mean is victory. When they performing 'Josephine', Kaitou will steal the Sapphire while the audience is cheering, disguised as Napoleon. Maki and Yaguchi praise him for figuring it out. Conan takes a look at the letter and notices that Romeo, Juliet, Victor, Bravo add to 22 letters not counting the exclamation mark. Maki asks Kogoro to come to the performance to aid the police in the protection of the Jewel. Yaguchi pulls out an envelope with extra ticket's so everyone can come along. Conan reasons that the letters must be using the English alphabet, and the split poker card doesn't exactly look like a V. As he looks at the letter, a pigeon outside the building watches them, and flies away.
Inside the Space theater, The Detective Boys come along with Agasa, and Sonoko. Genta looks at Conan's backpack, and thinks he brought snacks in. Yaguchi comes and greets them, and takes them to Maki's dressing room, where her stylist Sakai is drying her hair and preparing for the perfomance. Kogoro sees a picture of her swimsuit, and she says she 's just a beginner in diving. She invites him to go with her sometime. He accepts the offer with pleasure. Ayumi, and Ai go up to the counter and see a few cosmetics. They see five types of foundation, and a few other products. Sakai takes them from Ayumi and stores the rest in a bag where she stores all of it. Yaguchi open the door and Narusawa, who plays Napoleon comes and greets Kogoro, who he's a big fan of. He introduces the people that enter with him. Takima Tenko who plays Josephine's friend Thereshia, Shinjou Isao who is Josephine's lover, and the plays Supervisor, and Josephine's sponsor, Ban Tooru. Ginzo Nakamori comes in shakes hands with Kogoro. They get into a competition on who has the stronger grip. Conan knows Kid's normal method is to be disguised as someone involved. Ginzo invites a special person on behalf of Megure recommendation. Shinichi walks in and Conan is stunned by his appearance. He yells out his true identity so Ginzo pulls on his cheeks to make sure it isn't a mask. Conan surmises that because he passed, it must mean that Kid looks like Conan. Kogoro tells Ginzo that he has a plan to catch him, so Ginzo asks Maki, and everyone else to leave the room for awhile. 'Shinichi' goes his own way on the investigation. He tells Ran some comments that the real Shinichi would never admit, and tells her he's going to the roof and invites her. Conan yells out and screams, until Ran tells everyone can come along.
The three go to the roof and make sure all the doors are locked, and on the way back Ran notices Shinichi's strange behavior. Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko stare outside of the window looking at the sunset. Miitsuhiko tells Genta to find a new word beside "wow". Shinichi comes up and tells them that "wow" is a good way to describe it. He gives them a quiz like Agasa though they wonder if it will be just as lame, and asks them if they knew Napoleon. Mitsuhiko says he's the hero from France who conquered Europe.
"Shinichi's" Quiz:
On Napoleon's land, two Japanese built their houses. Which of these names are the two people?
1. Fuyuno-san
2. Furuno-san
3. Fukano-san
Mitsuhiko and Genta, try to solve the puzzle while Ran gets it immediately. Sonoko gets it right but for the wrong reason.
Sonoko's Answer:
It's Fuyuno-san and Furuno-san! Only Fukano's name has KA in it. In the the middle is KA, so it's zhong hwa. Therefore Fukano is Chinese!

Conan interrupts and asks if they know Napoleon's famous quote. He says the riddle is derived from that. Land is pronounced 'Jisho'. "Word" can either mean the word written on the doorplate. So he says Fukano doesn't exist on my land. Ai says the corrected version of what Napoleon should have said. "The word 'impossible' only exists in a fool's dictionary." The plays opening starts, and as the lights dim, Conan sees Shinichi standing by the exit near a wall. He uses his glasses to zoom in, and observe his movements. The curtain rises and the ball begins. In the performance Ban Tooru who plays Balas-te-Pau introduces the general Napoleon, to Josephine, and Thereshia. Josephine asks Napoleon to dance. The scene fades away and progresses to Napoleon giving Josephine the Jewel of Destiny as an engagement. Shinjou's character comes in and kneels to kiss her hand, flattering her. Napoleon finds out, and as they argue Josephine faints. Conan keeps a close eye on Kid as it all happens. Josephine on her bed, thinks about the glorious day with Bonaparte, Herbert and Romeo. As she walks in the next scene with a wedding gown, Sonoko sees Ginzo and Kogoro on stage disguised as the pope thinking Kid is disguised as Narusawa. Conan looks over to Kid, and sees him waving goodbye and walks through the exit. Conan quickly follows him down the stairs, and bumps into a security guard. A second guard comes along with an unusually long baton. Conan finds it strange and tells them that the length of a baton is 60cm or below, with a diameter of 2 centimeters or below and a weight of 320 grams or below. That is the strict rule of batons in the police district.
The guard finally revealed himself as kid, and pressed a button on top of the baton, releasing a white flash of light that blinded Conan and the first guard. He runs up the stairs and takes the elevator to the roof. Conan takes the elevator next to it, and up the stairs. The play continues and Kogoro waits until the curtains are completely lowered before springing the trap. The lights turn on backstage and a slew of police with Kogoro, and Ginzo tackle Narusawa thinking he's Kid in disguise. Ginzo pinches Narusawa's cheek to find out he's the real one. The scene picks up after the prologue as Kid, and Conan are on the helipad. Conan prepares his power shoes, but Kid uses his voice to imitate Ran which distracts Conan. He fires multiple cards from his gun as Conan takes out the soccer ball. He kicks and misses. Kid shoots a final card, and when Conan dodges it he falls from the tower with Kid using his glider to save him. When Kid gets close enough Conan used his watch to tranquilize him, but failed. He then uses the backpack to release a paraglider to continue pursuit. After a quick sky chase, they land on a passing train. Conan released his glider, and after exchanging words Conan never realized he Kid was still attached to a nearly invisible wire connected to his glider high above. He flies away while Conan is left on the train.
At Haneda Airport the Detective Boys, look at the weather forecast for flights. Hakodate's going to have thunderstorms, which scares Ayumi since the plane can be hit by them. Mitsuhiko comforts her and tells her it flies above the clouds, until it lands that is. Sonoko comes dressed as her usual self. Genta tells her that the lightning god will take your bellybutton away if you wear clothes that don't cover it during a thunderstorm. Kogoro was invited to the post-performance party, because of the gemstone's safety. While they wait for Maki, the stars of the play Ban, Narusawa, Yaguchi, and Tenko tell him that Natsuki has the tough role to play, many times doing the work of an assistant. Maki, and Natsuki arrive ready to depart for Hakodate, when Ban asks Shinjou's whereabouts. Yaguchi tells him that Shinjou wasn't feeling well, and called in the morning canceling his trip. The group knows that something is going on between Maki, and Shinjou, but they all shy away from saying anything. Suddenly Conan gets the sensation of being watched by someone with murderous intent. At Hakodate Oonuma Kohan, Julie's Cabin, Ginzo stands outside in the rain with a team of police waiting to ambush Kid in action. His subordinate sees Kid's silhouette in the window. At Sky Japan Airlines, flight 865 they board the plane and Chief Attendant Shindo closes the hatch. Only Narusawa, and Mikai have empty seats. Ran looks back to see someone she invited, which turns out to be Eri. Turns out Ran once again is trying to pair her and Kogoro. Ran told her she needed an adult to accompany her since Kogoro was busy.
Kogoro gets up in anger and sits next to Maki. Eri follows him and gives Maki her buisness card just in-case Kogoro tries to harass her as a joke. Shinjou runs up to the second floor and greets them. He goes next to Maki and kneels before her hand and kisses her ring. She hesitates at his arrival, but he tells her not to worry as they'll have plenty of time to prepare once they land. Conan question's Kid's letter. Not knowing whether he actually wanted to steal the jewel or not, or if he made a mistake. He hears Genta and Mitsuhiko talking about seat numbers. Genta's seat number is 4K, Mitsuhiko's is 4J, and Ayumi is 4B. With that Conan figures out the letter's real meaning. It's in Phonetic Code, which is used in wireless communication to prevent miscommunication of letters. R is for Romeo, J for Juliet, V as in Victor, B for Bravo, etc. There also used in airline radio communications. The 26 letters fluttering in the air is a warning that he's going to steal the jewel on the plane. Since it's a flight from Tokyo to Hakodate, and the numbers 865 are not divisible by two, it means that it's not a return trip but a one-way trip. As the flight prepares to leave Maki starts feeling weak so Tenko gives her two vitamin pills. SKYJ 865 gets cleared for takeoff, and they accelerate up the runway16 until they ascend into the air.
The change in air pressure makes the kid's ears feel weird, Mitsuhiko tells them to swallow some saliva and they'll be fine. After that didn't work he tells them to hold their nose and blow to pop the ears. After the plane reaches optimum elevation they're cleared to stand, and Kogoro asks for Maki's autograph. She has no pen but Sakai passes her one. Ran and Eri furiously stare at him and Eri decides to be introduced to everyone. Ban gets up and is knocked down by some turbulence and falls. Maki helps him get up as Conan watches intently. He goes to the bathroom, without touching her. The flight attendant comes around and serves Western or Japanese deserts, but Kogoro asks for beer and appetizers. As soon as Ban gets out of the restroom, Narusawa enters, and on the opposite side Shinjou gets up and enters it, not allowing Maki to go inside. Tokyo Control contacts the captain for confirmation. Captain Ogoshi feels a bit tired due to his kid having a fever, so co-captain Nakaya orders some coffee for him. As soon as Narusawa gets out, Maki quickly gets in and out. Flight attendant Misawa goes to serve coffee to Ogoshi, and as she steps in Maki gets up and talks to him. Although Misawa tries to stop her she didn't realize that Maki resigned seven years ago from the airline. Ogoshi takes off his glove and she puts out her hand for him and Nakaya to kiss it. When she walks out to her seat Yaguchi offers her some chocolate. She takes a second to choose one, and eats it. Yaguchi also offered Kogoro some, who ate it. Maki starts to grab her throat, and seconds later falls down and dies.
Kogoro and Conan inspect the body for foul play. Conan smelled almond, which could be cyanide poisoning. They put her on a seat with covers. In order not to alarm the passengers the flight attendant tells Kogoro to conceal the incident until the landing. Eri wonders how the poison entered the body. Ban tells her it must've been the chocolates since the effects were apparently immediate. The only suspect now is Yaguchi. Eri says that since Kogoro's fine, only a portion of the chocolate was poisoned. But the chances of her choosing the poisoned one is slim unless the manager knew her favorite type. Kogoro prohibits entrance to the front restroom as well as the front seats to preserve the crime. Conan remembers all the people she's been in contact with since the flight but nothing comes to mind. Kogoro stands up and pronounces the killer to be Tenko. She denies the accusation so Sakai speaks out and says everyone has a motive for killing Maki. Ban was angry at Maki for doing all the hard work that he was assigned. This got him into many quarrels with his wife Tenko. Three years ago Narusawa agreed to have a divorce with Maki, but he still has feelings for her. He tried to win her back many times but she refused each of his advancements. She was also getting bored with Shinjou. Yaguchi was always being criticized as dim and slow, embarrassing her in front of others. Sakai is always played as a fool, and although she wished to quit, Maki stood in her way.
Conan sees Genta eat, remembering that Maki licked her fingers before. Shinjo was first to kiss the ring, but he couldn't have done it. Sakai gave her a pen to write her name with, and Ban fell down which could've given him the opportunity to slip poison in. And the final probability is when she entered the restroom, and exited quickly. Looking back at her action's he finally figures out the killer's identity and method. He gets Kogoro in the line of firing a tranquilizer, but the plane had a little turbulence which knocked him out of the way, and instead hit Eri. She falls down next to Ai, and Conan gets her body ready, placing a remote speaker on her collar. He goes to the restroom and adjusts the voice. He starts off by explaining the method. The killer knew Maki would pop her ears before coming on the plane. She used her thumb and index finger to blow her nose, since this is the method divers use, and she was a beginner. The reason she went to the restroom was because she was a famous star sitting next to a male and didn't want to be embarassed. When she came out and took a chocolate the cocoa powder got on the fingers, which she then licked, allowing the poison to enter. The pilots start to feel the effects after eating. The reason she wasn't feeling well, was because her skin was absorbing the poison through the foundation make-up that was applied before entering the plane. Eri reveals the killer to be Sakai Natsuki.
She scolded Ayumi for picking up a foundation bottle. The day she applied the poison, she needed the kids to stay away as a precaution. Sakai demanded proof. So Eri told them that checking Maki's fingers was useless since she licked off the evidence. But the make-up and sponge that were used are sufficient enough. Sakai wouldn't be dumb enough to have it on board or in some trashcan. She sent all the products back to her house. Contacting the post office at the airport would prove her guilt. After a brief moment, she finally confesses the motive. Maki destroyed her dreams. Sakai wished to become a Hollywood make-up artist. To realize the dream, she went to a cosmetic school in Los Angeles, and learned to speak English. When she returned to Japan she started working for Maki while continuing to seek employment in Hollywood. But she destroyed her dream in order to keep her as a servant. She kneeled down and started crying thinking she ruined her pride as a make-up artist. Kogoro scolds her and tells her she has no pride as one. To use something you love and are gifted with, as a weapon, is unforgivable. Conan starts to realize the ring's importance. The pilots ate the snacks, giving them a small amount of poison. They're hands were exposed at the time before Maki's death. He warns Kogoro, and flight attendant. When they enter the cockpit they find the captains struggling. The captain goes unconscious hitting the descend with his head, plummeting the plane, and disengaging the autopilot.
The attendant quickly pulls the captain out of the way, and Conan jumps on his seat and pulls as hard as he can on the yoke to ascend. After a few moments the plane returns to proper elevation and Shinjo presses the auto-pilot button. He request an doctor on board be called to help the pilots. Narusawa and Ban help carry them to the cabin area. Sonoko asks why they were poisoned. Conan tells them they both kissed her hand and when they ate the snacks, the poison was introduced to their body. The doctor hooks them up to a oxygen tanks and monitors their health. Fortunately they took in a small amount so it isn't life threatening. They contact Hakodate Control, and gives them their current status. The current altitude is 12,000 feet, speed is at 280 knots. They stop all the landings and takeoffs temporarily, and contact the closest captain to guide them through. Shinjo takes the captains seat and appoints Conan as co-captain. He tells Kogoro that the only actually piloting is done when they need to switch to manual operation to land. Everyone gets in their seats and buckle up. Since Eri's still asleep he sits next to her and helps her out. At the cockpit Conan knows Shinjou is Kid. No one else would let an elementary kid fly a plane. He also knows the real Shinjo is at Hakodate villa disguised as Kid. Maki wasn't pleased at Shinjo's arrival because she wanted him to pretend being Kid at the party.
The real Shinjo is seen fleeing all of a squad of Ginzo's men in a car. Conan asks when he plans to steal the Jewel. Kid tells him that the Jewel is a fake. A real sapphire is cold when you touch it with your lips because of low thermal conductivity. Maki knowingly used a fake one in order to attract more people to the play. Hakodate control contact them, and starts giving them instruction. They change the radio frequency to 118.35. Control tower manager Uesuki hands over the controls to Captain Shioka who can guides them to land. He tells them to press the APP button on the Master Control Panel which will enable the plane to land automatically. Kid gives control to Conan to handle the aileron and landing gear. Conan tells him he's practiced with his father in Hawaii, but that theory is quite different from practice. Shortly after the plane drops below the clouds and the city becomes visible, with beaming lights. They see the airport control. Shioka tells them to change flaps to one, then five, then ten. They activate the landing gear and change the flaps to twenty. The firetrucks arrive at the tower. And just as everything was going smoothly, a lightning bolt struck the plane causing a temporary blackout. They turn it back on using a white knob next to a panel. And they soon discover that the auto-pilot feature's been disengaged. Shioka tells them to cancel the landing and pull the control stick as hard as they can. They retract the landing gear and continue to rise. Suddenly a strong gust of wind hits the plane and it changes it's path to the terminals.
Shinjo pulls up the nose of the airplane, and narrowly just hit the control tower. A small chunk of stone comes and a tank of gas falls off igniting the trucks and moving vehicles below, blowing all of it. Each explosion triggering the vehicle closest to it. Thankfully no one at the tower is hurt, but the runway is unsafe and can't be used immediately. On Kid's end they report engine two is damaged. Shioka tells them to change the flaps to five, and change to horizontal flight, facing 180 degrees ahead. Conan and Kid agree that the only solution is to circle them until the runway is all clear. At the tower there aren't enough firetrucks to stop the consuming flames. The detective boys go inside the cockpit to inform Conan of the engine. Conan looking at the panel notices the fuel drain. The attendant comes in and says if it's the missing engine. He tells them each engine should have it's own fuel tank, but he sees that the fuel valve was open. He tells Conan to press the switch above to open the valve that separates the tank, making it one big tank. They recall Ban during turbulence hit the valve switch accidentally, and they've been losing fuel ever since. Shinjou tries to contact control tower but there's too much noise to hear anything. Ayumi brings Conan a map. With 3000 pounds of fuel left, at 300 lbs/min, the calculated time to reach a landing area is ten minutes. Attendant Shindo suggests Shijike Airport, but the risk is too much considering the amount of fuel. Sonoko asks if there are any other areas.
Ai tells her that there aren't any around, and even though there might be a farm with a runway, or an army base, the length of it must be long enough. Mitsuhiko suggest one of the big roads in Hokkaido, but the plane's tires are 11 meters apart. Roads that are 12 meters or above are obliged to place road signs an a central reservation. There's also the high risk of smashing power lines and residences. he shore's waves would cause the plane to overturn. Ayumi then remembers of place that's long, straight and clear of obstructions. It was on TV during the Ocean appreciation show. Conan looks at the different docks that can be a possible fit. Shinyi dock, Naka dock, Motoanshi dock, Mororanka dock, Seki dock are all crossed out. The only dock left would be Sakimori dock which is estimated to have a length of 1400 meters, and a width of 30 meters. Conan thinks of sticking a wing out over the sea. Ai tells him it's not impossible since there isn't enough stopping distance. The type of plane there on exceeds 2000 meters, and the ground hardness is also a factor to consider. Conan says that there aren't many passengers, and little fuel, so if they go against the wind, the distance can be shortened. Mitsuhiko remembered the weather forecast in the airport before boarding. There are going to be strong western winds all night, which works in their favor. The port stretches from east to west, so as long as they head into it they can land. Kid, still disguised as Shinjou, can't pilot the plane any longer. When the plane hit the control tower his left hand was injured and he's been steering with his right hand.
To land manually, two hands are needed on the stick, so Kid gives the control to Ran. He ask a couple of embarrassing questions like hip, and bust size. She raises the joystick and the plane rises from the descent. They take the flight path to Sapporo, which is on the way to Muroran. They change the altitude to 5000 feet to pass over a nearby mountain. Kid tells Attendant Shindo to inform the passengers of the change in flight to Schinchitose. The first-class passengers are also moved from the second to the first floor. The Detective Boys go and comfort the other kids on board while Sonoko stays to comfort Ran. Hakodate try to call SKYJ 865 but to no avail. The emergency radio isn't responding and the firefighters are still trying to extinguish the flames. Unknowingly close by Shiratori, Takagi, and Megure make an appearance near Shiratori bridge. They coincidentally came from Muroran from Sapporo. Looking down at the bridge they see the dozen or so cop cars chasing a suspect, and decide to investigate. As they approach Muroran they descend to 2000 feet, and start seeing the lights of the city. the port of Sakimori is just left of them. But the port is pitch black, with barely any light or land marks to guide them to a safe landing. Just then Kid decides to leave after seeing the police cars through a binocular. He opens the emergency exit, and takes his disguise off in front of Sonoko and leaves a farewell. "Maybe next time we can meet under the beautiful moonlight". He jumps out and heads towards the bridge.
Sonoko goes back to the cockpit and tells Conan everything. She believes he jumped out to save himself. Ran begins to doubt herself, when Sonoko gives her reassurance. She said "If we work together, we can beat a genius." She was referring to Zhugeliang who was a genius strategist during the time of war of the Three Kingdoms, but she pronounced the name wrong which makes Ran laugh momentarily. They circle around the dock to see the situation. Beneath them in a park, the police cars stop and see the real Shinjo in desperation, hanging from a fountain, and pleading his innocence. Ginzo questions his motive for fleeing. Shinjo tells him it's because he stole a watch. Just then Megure sees the real Kid gliding passed them, and go after him. On the plane Conan gets off his seat to switch with Sonoko, to go to the toilet. Of course, Conan left and hid near the emergency exit to contact Ran using the wireless communications. He speaks as Shinichi, and tells Ran he's calling from the control tower in Sapporo. But Ran is tired of him talking from afar and guiding her dangerous situations, not realizing the lives of the passengers are at her hands. She criticizes him for appearing, but only briefly before disappearing unexpectedly. Ran goes on to remember all the times Shinichi's come, and the few moments she's shared with him. She says the words he hadn't expected... "I Love You".
Lights start appearing from the docks. Conan looks below and realizes Kid's plan. It was to use the police cars LED lights to guide them below using himself as a pawn. Ginzo splits his squad into groups A, B, and C to surround kid. They go off road toward the pier scaring a grandfather and two kids who were fishing calmly. Ginzo starts looking around the dock not seeing Kid standing on a light pole staring below and leaving the rest to Conan. Conan masking his voice as Shinichi prepares Ran for landing. Their at an altitude of 700 feet, with a speed of 140 knots. He tells them to maintain a three degree descent. Sonoko pulls down the descent lever, and pulls up the flap lever. The warning lights on the plane come on to warn them of the low fuel. They fly over Shiratori bridge, and head toward Megure's location. They land on a few cars and continue forward as Ginzo's men get out of the way surprised at the thought of a plane doing such a thing. Ran and Sonoko pull the reverse stream and the plane starts stopping but at an alarming rate. Up ahead they notice a crane in the way. Shinichi tells Ran to step on the rudder with her right leg. The plane's left wing partially collides with the crane, collapsing it as the plane hits crashes thorugh concrete wall before hitting a mound of sand stopping the impact. The passengers open their eyes in safety and start cheering. Ai compliments Conan using Napoleon's quote. The word impossible isn't in his dictionary. Conan goes to the cockpit to find Sonoko, and Ran unconscious, but not injured.
After the credits, the plane is surrounded by ambulance, and we see Sakai's arrest, and the celebration of the Detective Boys. Conan spots Ran sitting near an ambulance getting her health in check. Her caretaker gives her good news on her vital stats and asks a particular question that shocks her. He asked for her bust waist, and hip size. She looks up to find Kid taking her stats. Dazed she finds it hard to scream his name. Just then she received a call, and as she looks up Kid is nowhere to be found. It turned out to be the real Shinichi. Ran questioned his call earlier on the plane, believing it was Kid in disguise fooling her again. She heard Conan scream which gave her the idea that he was still on board. But she also heard Sonoko say that he jumped. So Ran comes to the conclusion that Kid had an accomplice who jumped in his place. She's relieved that her secret wasn't out about her feelings for Shinichi. Although Shinichi asks for it, she teases him by telling him to work it out using his detective skill, and catch Kid.

Summary
The 9th annual Detective Conan movie sets sail on a 100 million yen luxurious cruise. Fifteen years ago, a cruise named Yashiromaru, built by the Yashiro group, sank while sailing. In the present, a new cruise, the Saint Aphrodite, was built by the Yashiro group and Conan and the rest were invited through Sonoko. Earlier, the husband of the CEO of the Yashiro family group, an established ship architect, had a heart-attack and drove his car down a cliff. On the second day of the cruise, the CEO herself was found murdered in her room. Later, her father, the President of the Yashiro group was also found missing. He had been thrown off the cruise into the ocean, seemingly by the same person. At the welcoming party, Kogorou shows off his deduction skills, and concluded that the sub-designer of the cruise, Akiyoshi, was the murderer. However, Conan has different ideas. Kusaka, a scriptwriter who worked in co-operation with Akiyoshi on a script, was the culprit. Kusaka reveals that the accident from 15 years ago was a scheme to sink the ship deliberately to get insurance. His father was murdered when he discovered the captain of the ship was drugged and left to die. Kusaka immediately set off bombs and escaped by sea and the Detective Boys gave chase. After they successfully took down the criminal, more bombs were ignited. All passengers were evacuated, but Ran returned to her hiding place during the hide-and-seek game to find a "gold metal" made by sea-shells the Detective Boys made for her. However, as the ship swayed, she fainted in the enclosed area.
It turns out Akiyoshi was the main murderer after all, and she was the one who did all three killings and made Kusaka think that he did them himself. She also revealed that her father was the captain who died while the cruise sank. Kogorou, however, deduced correctly this time and managed to arrest Akiyoshi. He was originally trying to find evidence to prove her innocence because of her strong resemblance to his wife, but the more investigation he does, the more guilty she became. As Kogorou and Conan began to evacuate, they found out that Ran was missing. They find her under the deck of the boat with the help of a fire axe. Afterwards a helicopter comes and picks them up. At the post credits, Conan explained he knew where Ran was because when he kicked the volleyball, Ran said she heard a soccer ball, meaning she was in a place with a tough wall. The detective kids come, and told Ran they made a better "gold metal" for her, and put it on her.

Ran and the kids left after being given free theme park wristbands, Conan and Richard Moore are asked to stay in the room, where the client who hired Richard Moore appears on the television in their room and tells them they must solve a mystery to remove the wrist watches which are set to detonate at 10:00 pm. The watches are also equipped with the GPS system to prevent them from going to the police. He reveals that the others have special features, once they enter the theme park, they can not leave and if they do, their watches will explode. The mystery man reveals that two legendary detectives have given up, one is still working, and another has failed. The screen changes to reveal Detective Ryu, a friend of Richard's. Detective Ryu is told his report is wrong, his wristband counts down from ten, a flash of light, and then the camera is destroyed.
They are given just one clue and a phone that can only receive calls, leading Conan and Richard Moore into an empty hotel that hid ski masks and a government licensed gun in a bag. They discovered that it was used for a robbery of a truck delivering money to a bank on April 4. They also discover on the same date of the robbery, Kaitou Kid stole some jewels from a nearby company. Richard Moore retrieves the bag, but ends up getting arrested on suspect of being Kid's accomplice. The mysterious man calls the phone to which Conan picks up and the client identifies Conan as Shinichi instead and gives him a second clue Conan uses his voice changer and speaks with Shinichi's voice into the phone. Conan then leaves the police station to continue the investigation.
Conan meets Hattori Heiji and reveals he is part of the search, because he was also invited to the hotel. Kazuha is also held captive. Hattori and Conan work together and end up in a university's club office where they join together with Hakuba Saguru, who is a famous detective from the North. They find out that one of the president of the club and is charged with murder and that they removed his portrait from the portraits of club leaders. Afterwards they went to the (murdered guy)'s house to find out some answers. They are attacked by some motorcyclists who are working for the culprit who also tried to kill Kaitou Kid. Conan blacks out after getting injured from the chase and breaks his leg. When Conan regains consciousness, Hattori explains to Conan that Hakuba Saguru called Professor Agasa to drive him. When the (Client) panicked and tried to leave the city, his car was sabotaged in an attempt to kill him.
Reiko appears at that moment and confirms the truth begins to shoot to prevent the truth from being revealed. She reveals that she would have finished off (Client) if he was not so wrapped in guilt. Hattori throws a spear on the ceiling and Conan jumps, swings on the spear, turns and knocks the woman out using his football. Conan then accesses the computer but can not change the settings on the wristbands due to the computer receiving damage from a loose gunshot. Conan finally finds a server that works and links up the wirelessly connected laptop. The only thing left is to find out the password. The secret question to the password is "who I think about most". The answer is (Client). Conan then resets the timer on the wristbands on the last second and release the wristbands. He could not turn off the area restriction on the wristbands though.
The camera changes to where the people with wristwatches at held at a restaurant by the police. An officer collects their wristbands and the super snake, a roller coaster which is out of the boundaries of the park, is re-opened. The children all ride on the roller coaster until Hattori realizes that Genta still has his wristwatch on. Ai removes his wristwatch but because of the ride it flies to Hattori, and then to the empty seats behind Conan. Just then, Kaito Kid on a hand glider glides and grabs the wrist watch and throws it into the air where is explodes.
Conan, Ai, and Hattori were the only ones to notice Kid saved them. Conan reveals that Kid was with them for a long time, disguised as Hakuba Saguru, which explains his disappearance. At the post credit everyone returned home safely. Conan and Hattori are playing chess and Richard is taking a nap. The two legendary detectives that have failed was revealed to be only a bluff. Detective Ryu pretended to die for money. Richard rants how low it was for him to do that for money. Just then Richard receives a phone call to star in a commercial for sleepy pills, which he denied until a great sum of money was mentioned.
First Appearance
This is Hakuba Saguru first movie appearance. Although in reality, it was actually Phantom Thief Kid (Kaitou Kid) disguised as Hakuba. This is the third movie appearance for Heiji Hattori and Kaito Kid.
This is the first movie appearance of "Ran Quizes". "Ran Quizes" are a series of questions asked by Ran and answered by Conan and the other characters. This quite similar to "Agasa's Jokes" from previous Detective Conan Movies and takes the place of them.

Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure (名探偵コナン 紺碧の棺?) is a Japanese animated feature film released on April 21, 2007. It is the 11th film in the Detective Conan series
Summary
Koumijima (Koumi Island) is a beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean. There is a tradition there handed down from ancient times that speaks about an ancient site under the sea called "Sea Floor Palace" and two real pirate women, "Anne Bonney" and "Mary Read" who left a treasure there 300 years ago.
Conan and the others go to Koumijima Island on a vacation and meet with treasure hunters who have gathered there to search for the treasure. One of those hunters searches for the "Sea floor Palace", and gets attacked by sharks and dies. Later it is revealed that fish blood was placed on that hunter to attract the sharks. With that, Conan and the gang start to investigate.
Plot
The movie opens with a car chase by Takagi and Sato who are after thieves wearing two famous celebrities laughing masks; that robbed a super-market. After the thieves are intercepted by the police, their car flips over and the thieves are injured. One of the thieves fainted due to the accident and the other one is questioned on his motive. He mentions Koumijima, and Jolly Roger and faints.
The scene changes to show Mouri Kogoro talking to the hotel receptionist on Koumijima. Behind him are the Detective kids, Professor Agasa, Ran and Sonoko. Richard brags to the receptionist how he won 300,000 yen by finishing a long unsolved crossword puzzle for the news paper, which Conan secretly mentions that he was the one to solve it. The receptionist tells them their reservation was not found. At that moment the head of the Department of Tourism, Iwanaga Jouji, appears and confirms their reservation but saying it is not at the hotel.
Afterwards, three muscled men walk past them and Conan proclaims they're treasure hunters. The detective boys excluding Conan and Ai are excited there is a hidden treasure on the island. They are driven to their lodging which is an inn owned by Mima Kasuo. Iwanaga helps them plan their activities. The detective kids are going on a treasure hunt, Ran and Sonoko are going diving, and Richard Moore is going drinking.
Ran and Sonoko go to the diving shop owned by Mabuchi Chika to rent some equipments. With the equipments, Yamakuchi Kimiko a diving instructor, will come with them on their dive. Meanwhile, the detective boys are taught about the legend of the pirate duo, Anne Bonney and Mary Reed and the treasure they buried on this island. Iwanaga then gives the detective boys treasure maps with five spots for stamps. The stamps are two numbers, either red or blue. They must find the locations via clues in treasure boxes beside the table for stamps. They get their first stamp in the museum. Their first clue is "Even if the setting sun is almost at it's end, a pirate still shines" Iwanaga lets them rent bicycles and they start the search.
Back to Ran, Sonoko, and Kimiko, they are diving when they see a shark. They hide in the corner and find sharks surrounding the three treasure hunters, one soaked in blood and bleeding badly. The two men defend the wounded person, one by using his oxygen mask to blow oxygen at the sharks, and one by using his swimming motor to push them away. The three ladies bring the boat and the men climb onto the boat with their injured friend.
Back with the detective kids, they found the second stamp in a cave with bio-luminescent planktons. The second clue is "The thin pirate would laugh." Ai tells Conan she saw the boat Ran used for diving and that someone was bleeding. Conan, worried follows the boat to the infirmary.
At the infirmary Conan finds Ran is safe. The two men are praying for their partners recovery, but he is pronounced dead. Conan, finding it suspicious that professional treasure hunts were attacked by sharks examines the dead partner's clothing. In his diving suit was a plastic bag with fish blood. He explains the deeper you go in water, the higher the pressure increases and that the bag exploded attracting the sharks. Just then Mouri Kogoro comes through the window drunk. Ai sets up the evidence so it can be noticed by Kogoro. Kogoro proclaims to the people in the infirmary a murder has taken place.
Conan goes to the diving shop to investigate since the diving suits are stored there. He learns that the shop does not fear thieves so it is never locked, making anyone the culprit. Back at the lodging, Conan discusses this with Professor Agasa. The detective boys call Conan asking him for help and telling him they are at the hanging bridge. Ai decides to stay behind.
Ayumi and Mitsuhiko cross the bridge while Genta follows slowly behind. A sign tells them that anyone that weighs more than 40 Kg can not cross the bridge. Ayumi and Mitsuhiko figure out the clue, "The thin pirate would laugh, while the fat one would cry". Ayumi and Mitsuhiko find the third stamp, and find the second clue, "Pirates don't cry" Conan comes and proclaims that sign is just a hint and is not the actual bridge limit and crosses. They all return back to the lodge for dinner.
Back at the hotel, Inspector Megure, Takagi, and Sato arrive by helicopter to interrogate the two treasure hunters. The treasure hunters names are revealed to be Izu Yamamtaro and Matsumoto Mitsushi. After refusal to cooperate, Takagi tricks one of the members into giving his fingerprints by giving them a match for their cigarettes.
After dinner, Mima tells the detective boys what the crying pirates are. They go to the beach where when wet sand is stepped on, it makes the sound of a sob. They walk to the part where the sand does not sob and find an old broken boat. Inside the boat, is the fourth stamp and the third clue "Pirate's souls will go to heaven." Conan notices that the treasure hunters are paying Mabuchi for something and finds it suspicious. He investigates and follows the treasure hunters.
A little time before Conan's discovery, at the place where the officers came by plane are, the alarm goes off to show that a disturbance in the museum was detected. They find out that Anne's gun and Mary's Cctlass was stolen. Back with Conan, the treasure hunter are entering the car when they are shot far away by an unknown stranger. Conan examines where the shot was placed and finds tire tracks. He takes a picture of it.
The next day, Conan compares the tire tracks to the bikes. He discovers GPS trackers a small number of bikes. After eating breakfast, the detective kids continue the treasure hunt, while Conan continues his investigation. While wandering, he overhears the investigation team, and hears that a storm is coming. He learns that the riffle that fired the bullets must be quite old and that Mima was the only one to own a Rifle that old.
Back to the detective kids, they find the final stamp and the last clue, "The numbers are the hints". The detective boys figure they should ask Mima. Conan asks Mima on where the treasure is since he is a treasure hunter. Ran and Sonoko visit Kimiko and they talk. The officer comes and ask for Mabuchi to come to the investigation room. Ran, Sonoko, and Kimiko leave the store only to be taken hostage by the treasure hunters.
Mima takes the kids and show them the original map made by Anne 300 years ago. It is exactly like the map Iwanaga gave the kids. They figure out the red and blue color on the numbers are for the first or surname. The numbers are actually letters from the English Alphabet. It spells out Jolly Roger, the flag of a pirate. The skull on the pirate flag on the 300 year old map reveals the letters DOS DIOSAS, which in Spanish means Two Goddesses. It means the entrance to where the treasure is between two goddesses.
Back to the treasure hunters, Kimiko is knocked out. The treasure hunters take Ran and Sonoko on a boat toward Yorioyajima (Skull Island). Kimiko arrives to the inn and tell them they are being taken to Yorioyajima. Conan tells the detective boys to inform the officers and tells Mima to take him to the island. The professor gives two mini oxygen tanks that supply 10 minutes of oxygen to Conan.
Back to the treasure hunter, they are preparing to dive. They cut Sonoko to use her as bait and tell them to dive or else. They dive and enter the cave. Conan uses the original entrance and enters the cave above ground. The treasure hunter find the treasure room, to only find a boat with nothing precious on it. They are knocked out by Conan and his soccer ball. Conan tells Iwanagawa to come out of hiding and knew that Conan was being followed. Conan revealed that Iwanagawa set up the puzzle and got them to come to Koumijima, copied the treasure map, and shot the treasure hunters so he could get the treasure himself. After realizing there is no treasure, Iwanagawa gives up.
Suddenly, an earthquake strikes and water starts to fill up the cave. The cave also releases Methane Hydrate. Conan tells everyone go into the cabin while he kicks a chain into the ceiling to start a spark that will cause an explosion to blow open the ceiling. Conan gives Ran and Sonoko his oxygen masks and tells them to set the oxygen tanks on the criminals too. Ran asks him if he will be okay and Conan lies that he has a mask. Conan starts the explosion and jumps into the cabin just in time. The boat floods with water and Conan is saved by Ran sharing her mask.
The boat bursts out onto the ocean and finds the investigation crew's ship instantly. The boat they are on start to break and they jump into the ocean and climb onto the investigation boat. Mima says that the treasure was the boat and reveals more about Anne and Mary. Mary was caught and placed in prison so Anne set up the boat for one day when Mary would escape and they would sail the seas. He says that Mary died due to an illness in prison and that Anne waited till she died of old age.
At the post credit, Conan asks how Ran knew he did not have a mask. She tells him that like Shinichi, they give the same face when they are lying and has a flashback to when Shinichi gives her an umbrella while he walks home in the rain.

Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear (名探偵コナン 戦慄の楽譜, Meitantei Conan Senritsu no Furu Sukoa?) is the twelfth movie installment of the popular manga and anime series Detective Conan. The initial screening of the movie in Japan was scheduled on April 19, 2008. An OVA, which takes place three years earlier, was released specially for the movie. At the end of the movie was a short preview of the next movie. The Detective Conan letters turn black and children's laughter slowly die as a man comments on how it's a perfect day to die.
PLOT

The movie opens on a stage of a concert hall where a woman is observing two men during a practice. She sends a message on her cellphone, and then there is an explosion. At the crime scene, the body of a flute was found.
Elsewhere, an unknown person with the classic black silhouette of a man reads the news on the computer and comments on how he is getting closer to his plan of a Silent Night.
Later, on the grounds outside the hall, Conan is talking to Ran on the phone as Shinichi. He investigates and find sees an old man carefully picking up a piano key from the piano destroyed from the explosion, and putting it in his pocket. The man leaves in a car with license plate 52-83. Ran invites him to go to a rehearsal with her at the concert hall that is opening soon. He declines and tells her she's meddling too much which causes her to angrily reply he will never be like Sherlock Holmes because he's tone deaf. Ran angrily hangs up and calls Conan asking him what he wants for dinner.
At the rehearsal; Richard, Ran, Sonoko, and the detective boys are introduced to the characters who will be performing for the Doumoto Concert Hall opening; Doumoto Kazuki the organist and former pianist, Fuwa Takumi the former piano tuner turned director of the hall, Hans Müller the professional organ tuner, Doumoto Genya, son of Kazuki and pianist, Chisusa Rara Soprano, Yuhane Shion Violinist, and Akiba Reiko the main Soprano. The kids ask Akiba Reiko to help their class choir to sing their school anthem. She agrees when she learns they are from her alma mater, but asks them to leave immediately, possibly to allow Shion who is shy perform without fear.
Later on Ran is revealed to still be angry at Shinichi. Sonoko comments that this happened before and that she was angry at him for a week. She asks him how she forgave him. Ran remembers how long ago she walks with Shinichi home and remembers a woman singing.
The next day Ran plays the piano while the kids sing the Titan High School anthem. Akiba comments on their performance; Genta is too loud, Mitch is not putting enough feelings into it as he was staring at Ai, Ai is singing like an adult, Ayumi is perfect, and Conan is off key the whole time. She is revealed later to have a perfect pitch. Genta steals a drink of Akiba's tea and acts in agonizing pain.
At the hospital, the doctor says that Genta's throat is severe inflamed by chemicals and he will not be able to speak for about four days. The detective kids, Sonoko, and Akiba accompany Genta home. On the way home they are chased by a truck, at one of the turns Akiba takes a different route to get the truck away from them. She trips and is about to be run over until a taxi comes and the car turns. The culprit escapes.
Later, two more murders occur. One explosion kills Kabe Souko, with the foot joint of a flute left on the scene. The other occurs when the paraglider of the victim is inflicted with fine cuts to cause it to plunge from mid-air. In the victim's car is the headjoint of the flute. These 2 victims, together with the 2 dead victims from the earlier explosion, formerly belonged to a group called the quarter quintet. Conan, indebted to Akiba for a reason he has forgotten, follows her to the forest as she is known to relax there on the day before the concert. She is attacked by a gunner who wounds her leg. They escape when the gunner pauses on shooting the killing shot. She does not report this to the police to avoid missing the concert.
Moore deduces that the murder is Doumoto Genya as a year ago the quarter quintet badly performed the 9th symphony of Beethoven whilst drunk. He assumes Doumoto was a Beethoven fanatic and seeing one of his songs defiled by drunks, murdered them. An evidence he points out was Genya's hair was cut the same way as Beethoven. Genya reveals he got his hair for his mother and his hair is natural.
At Doumoto Hall, the concert is being prepared. Sonoko says that a balcony is reserved with 10 seats, with one for Shinichi. After rehearsal Conan and Akiba look for Kazuki to tell him a key for the organ is a little flat. Near a lake, she and Conan are knocked out by the assailant with a wrench. They wake up downstream where it would take hours before they are found. They hear an explosion at the Doumoto Hall. Since the Concert Hall is built to be soundproof and stable, the explosions outside could not be heard inside. The explosions are slowly destroying the pillars outside the hall to prevent entry or exit. Conan sees a phone on top of a building. He explains that phones work by hearing pitches of sounds as numbers. He knocks the phone down with the ball and Akiba and Conan exert the right pitch to dial 110, calling the cops.
They take a helicopter and enter the building. There Conan sees the assailant hiding in one of the VIP suites. He explains that the irregular note on the organ sets off an explosion and that there are 24 in total; 23 pillars, 1 in the main hall. He says the concert can't be interrupted because the assailant is holding a detonator also. Akiba buys time for Conan by interrupting the concert to by singing Amazing Grace which involves only the first set of keys on the organs whilst the detonator key is on the third row.
Conan enters the balcony of the assailant revealing it to be Fuma Takumi. Fuma reveals that the reason he killed the first four people was because his son, Akiba's fiancé, died indirectly because of them; and his pride as a professional piano tuner was thrown away when Doumoto Kazuki quit playing the piano. Without his son, wife, and pride of being a tuner for a professional pianist, his life was nothing and he wanted to bring silence to the organ which haunted him.
Just then the 24th irregular note was played but the final explosion did not occur. It turns out Conan removed the sensor from the organ before he came to Fuma. Fuma congratulates him and prepares to press the detonator but it was shot out of his hand. Fuma takes out a gun and prepares to kill himself until Kazuki comes and reveals to him the reason he quit as a pianist was to keep Fuma's pride. Because of Fuma's old age, his hearing is starting to deteriorate and so was his tuning, to keep his pride he quit being a pianist so he did not have to hurt his friend. Fuma comes to realize this and surrenders peacefully.
While outside the concert, Ran hears Amazing Grace played on a violin. She enters the wood where Conan tells her Shinichi played it to her to be forgiven like that day long ago.
At the post credits, Akiba reveals the song Amazing Grace is a song of forgiveness, a favourite of her late fiancee. She sings it on the anniversary of his death near the river which is why she did not pursue revenge like Fuma did for his son. Conan asks how Ran knew it was Shinichi playing the violin. She replies he has a weird habit when he plays the violin. Conan later in his house's library plays Amazing Grace to try and find his "strange habit"

Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser (名探偵コナン 漆黒の追跡者, Meitantei Konan Shikkoku no Cheisā?) is the 13th movie installment of the manga and anime series Detective Conan. The movie was released on April 18, 2009. This movie is confirmed to involve active members of the Black Organization. A special preview to the movie aired in Japan on Animax.
Summary
A new member from the Black Organization that shrunk Shinichi's body manages to find out about Shinichi's transformation into Conan. This discovery starts to put those around him in danger as Gin and the other Black Organization members starts to take action by eliminating Shinichi and his friends.
Plot
The film starts with Conan having a dream where he is sorting some stuff until he hears some noise but didn't see anyone else. After re-entering the bureau suddenly Gin and Vodka appear and Gin wants to kill Shinichi. The next scene shows the Detective Boys as they catch beetle bugs with Agasa. There a new gear is introduced: a lifting gear that even lifts Genta to the top of a tree. They then find a beetle which wings are taped with conbini and which tapes (open) so it can't fly away.
Opening (no big introduce but a flashback for the chat between Conan and Vermouth in her car and the phone number of the boss (the nanatsu no ko).
A man in driving down a hillside road. When he wants to brake he realizes that the brakes are damaged and he is driving at high sped into a toll station. He dies but he leaves a dying message "tanabata kyou". He also lost a pendant during his saying. This pendant shows 7 points (similar points like a hanko art)
Kogoro is invited to a big conference about a large murder case with Conan eavesdropping about the case. Almost every policeman is invited to this case. The first shock is the promotion of Yamamura keiji to Inspector. They explain that already 6 people have died and that all lost a pendant - the only known link so far. Kogoro tells a funny story and Yamamura and Yokomizu cheer him but then the dying message doesn't fit. The conference ends soon. When Yamamura comes back from toilet he is humming a melody. Conan catches the song and asks why he is humming it. Yamamura replies that he had just heard it are some beeps from a cell phone which Conan realize the song is "nanatsu no ko" and tries to find the one with the cell phone but ends up with seeing someone boarding Gin's car just in front of the police department. At Agasa's house he is explaining it to the professor and Haibara. Thinking it must have been Vermouth as she can disguise perfectly and might be tall enough for that disguise. He is wondering what interest the BO might have in that case which Haibara warns him not to go too far.
Soon the police have a possible culprit and try to catch 2 people (man and woman) in a shopping mall. They surround the pair and everything seemed perfect as Yamamura tumbles and loses his police badge. The man kidnaps a standby woman and has a knife to threaten her. Of course Conan is accidentally there and manages to shoot the knife with his ball out of the hand to the possible culprit. But then his accompany got the knife and tries to hit the partner of the one with the scar over the eyes but then Megure stands in the way so that the knife hit his stomach. But he says: It's alright I'm "fat" enough.
Well the kidnapped woman has vanished and gone to her car. Conan followed her and disguises her as Vermouth. They chat a bit about why the BO is lurking around the police. She tells him that there is a memory card and they need it as well as a new member called "Irish". The possible culprit later proves to be inaccurate as another person died. From that point on Satou knows that one person at the police might be the culprit.
Later, the children find another taped beetle in the park. Meanwhile, Conan tries to find the solution to this case by himself. He visits the places and is curious about the dying message. Soon he and Heiji find out that there was a fire accident in a hotel in Kyoto and a young woman (Nana) died. Conan tracks the family and the neighbour and asks some questions. Soon also the police find this track. In the end the lover of the dead woman lurks around and might be the culprit. Soon Conan realizes that the two might have done star gazing and realizes the crime scenes are ordered like the star constellation Ursa Major. So he knows where the last crime takes place: Toho Tower.
The Shounen Tantei wanting to find out the secret of the taped beetle goes to the park. Also some art of Conan at school has been damaged and the helmet of the black knight (Shinichi) has vanished. A person then found out that Conan is Shinichi. This person asks Gin if he could remember Kudo Shinichi. Conan goes to Toho Tower where many people dressed in Kimonos are there for a visit. It is also shown on TV where Sonoko notices him. Soon Ran calls Sonoko as she is worried as it is so late and Conan still has not at home. Sonoko tells her that Conan went alone to Toho Tower.
It is also soon that the police get the hint of the star constellation (by Yamamura and Kogoro) and leaves for Toho Tower.
The children find a small house where someone seems to be kept. They are afraid as soon someone steps behind them. It's Agasa and Haibara. Agasa calls Satou and she says to Takagi that they changed the destination and that it is important.
Soon the police arrive and nobody else seems to be at Toho Tower anymore. Of course Conan and the lover of Nana are there. They are talking until one of the family members of Nana appears. The connection is a hotel in Kyoto where Nana and her boyfriend stayed. A fire kind of broke out and Nana died because she wasn't in the last elevator. That elevator only holds 7 people and with her there were 8 people. The lover thought one of the 7 must have pushed her out but the other family member says that she herself stepped out. He was the last of the 7 in the elevator. He is strong and has a knife with him. He is threatening Conan and the lover. Soon someone shoots the knife out of his hands - Matsumoto.
Conan realizes that Matsumoto is not the real one but Irish in perfect disguise. Irish then says he doesn't want to kill Conan and he's the one who found out his identity but didn't tell anyone yet. Conan wants to have the memory card but Irish refuses to hand it over. It is also said that Irish is a very good friend of Pisco who was killed by Gin.

A fight start between those two and as Irish is strong and clever and has a gun all of Conan’s gears are knocked out. Soon Ran arrives at Toho Tower and wants to find Conan. She finds him but has to encounter Irish (still as Matsumoto). She makes some good Karate hits but he is too strong for her. Then Irish and Conan fight outside near the top as soon a helicopter with Gin, Vodka, Korn and Chianti arrives. Irish shows them the card and Gin orders Chianti to shoot him and the card. Irish is barely alive. Then Gin notices Conan and tries to shoot him. Irish protects Conan and dies. He also said that Vermouth told him that he can trust Kudo Shinichi.
The BO tries to shoot Conan and slightly destroyed the upper levels of the Toho Tower. In a pinch close to death, Conan doesn't know what to do until he finds a heavy lamp and his lifting gear. He throws the lamp with the lifting gear against the helicopter as it starts to explode. The BO flies away (near Roppongi Hills Mori Tower) and the helicopter crashes into a park with the fate of the 4 BO members unknown. Vermouth drives away and says: That was to be expected from her silver bullet.
The final scene of the movie shows the real Matsumoto inside the small house found by the Detective Boys.

STORY
mysterious armed group has seized a highly dangerous virus from the micro-organisms research center. From their public declaration statement, the police have identified the criminals as the terrorist group Red Siamese Cats, who are known for targeting zaibatsu (rich and powerful family conglomerates). Moreover, the group warned that they would re-appear seven days later.
At the same time, the advisor of the Suzuki Zaibatsu, Suzuki Jirōkichi, has finally completed the building of the world's largest airship, "Bell 3". In order to capture the famous Kaitō Kid whom Jirōkichi views as a rival, he has set up many traps in the airship, making it a huge construction project.
"7 days later, try and steal the big jewel "The Honored Lady of the Skies" from "Bell 3" which will fly from Tokyo to Osaka."
Faced with Jirōkichi's challenge, Kid boldly replies with "I will only steal the gem when we reach the skies of Osaka". The world is keeping their eyes on this showdown that will take place in the skies! Inspector Nakamori, Kogorō, Ran, Conan and the Detective League are also on board the airship to join in this flaunting battle of the wits.

The Airship - Bell Tree I At a length of 246m and a diameter of 42.2m, this is the world's biggest airship that Suzuki Jirōkichi has built at the risk of his own dignity. It is supported by 16 large air sacs filled with helium, and has many traps set up to capture Kaitō Kid.
Facts about Airships
Even though an airship is legally classified under airplanes, it is more accurate to think of it as a ship floating on a sea of air in terms its physical workings. Airships today operate by filling the body of the ship with helium gas, which enables the ship to float on air. As helium is non-volatile and non-toxic, the use of helium gas makes airships safe and environmentally-friendly.
The Big Jewel - Lady Sky The Ampoule
A ring with the world's largest piece of lapis lazuli. The deep blue gemstone with golden specks is extremely beautiful. This is a top-notch piece of art used to entice Kaitō Kid, who only goes for large jewels.
The Ampoule
The ampoule containing the virus that "Red Siamese Cats" stole from the National Micro-organisms Research Center. A rash appears on infected patients and the survival rate of infected victims is extremely low.
Characters:
Kaitō Kid The elusive and famous Phantom Thief who is fearless in his hunts for preys. He is the protagonist of Gosho Aoyama's manga "Magic Kaito" and appears in Detective Conan from time to time. He mainly targets jewels and is notably skillful in his theft attempts, being crowned as the "Lupin of the Heisei Era", and is also a master of disguise. To Conan, he appears as a formidable rival. In "The Lost Ship in The Sky", Kid and Conan will have an all-out battle in the movies for the first time. By tricking Conan, is Kaitō Kid's aim the jewel? Or is it Ran's lips!?
Suzuki Jirōkichi The founder and now advisor of Suzuki Zaibatsu. In order to capture Kaitō Kid, whom Jirōkichi views as a rival, he has placed the big jewel "Lady Sky" on the world's largest airship "Bell Tree" as a hook to attract the Phantom Thief.
Nakamori Ginzō A police inspector in the Second Investigations Division of the Metropolitan Police Department. He is deeply persistent and has a burning enthusiasm when it comes to capturing Kaitō Kid.
Fujioka Takamichi (藤岡隆道) A reporter who travels around the world. He is writing up on the battle between Suzuki Jirōkichi and Kaitō Kid.
Asano Mitsuhiro (浅野光洋) A cabin crew member of the airship "Bell Tree". Calm and composed, he is an expert at waiting on passengers.
Mizukawa Masaki (水川正輝) A director of the Nichiuri TV station. He has the exclusive rights to broadcast the progress of the battle between Jirōkichi and Kid.
Leader of Red Siamese Cats The leader of the mysterious terrorist group "Red Siamese Cats" (赤いシャムネコ akai shamu neko) who are known for targeting zaibatsu (rich and powerful family conglomerates). After seizing the virus from the Micro-organisms Research Center, the group hijacks Bell Tree.
