Over the past 11 years I notice that cartoons have gotten worst. For example the top TV channel for cartoons Cartoonnetwork and Nickelodeon haven either cancel/drop series for no reason or notice to viewers. And created some trash show they dare to call "cartoons".Do you agree or I'm just over reacting?

Fuck yeah the have. I torrent/buy the classics on DVD. I guess I do sit down and watch "Flapjack" which follows in the footsteps of awesome old cartoons like "Rocko's modern life" and "Ren & Stimpy". But those bastards didn't renew it. Oh yeah, "Adventure Time" is pretty awesome too.

This answer is best left to kids because they have an unbiased opinion.

Some of them are cool but they seem to be similar to each other.
I feel that all the cartoon characters act like they are 6 years old.
You don't see too many leading adult cartoon characters anymore do you?

Adults are becoming more childish and though child entertainers have been popular in the past they are on a rise.

Majority of the cartoons are worst. I remember the fun of waiting on Saturdays to watch Toonami on CartoonNetwork, but those days are gone now. I see crap that don't have anything good.

i miss the good ol' days of Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. I honestly can't stomach the shows now.

I remember when Disney had nothing but cartoon, CN was then known as cartoon network, Nickelodian was epic, and it was worth waking up early every saturday mornings.

Cartoons. I would honestly be surprised if they still existed in 10 years time.

It's all about teh live-action Disney shows naow. *pukes

Most of us have grown up in the 90s, so of course we believe our shows were better....which they were.
But shit changes. Not all of the new cartoons are bad, but it makes me wonder what the hell were they thinking when they made Regular Show.

It's probably true that cartoons have gotten worse since the 90s but maybe it's also cos we've grown up and don't find kid's cartoons that appealing now?

OH yes, yes they have.

Simon Agrees.

And I believe, that like Mickey, we should take action and put the tradition back into cartoon (I mean, American-that-is-not-anime cartoons)

my first impulse is to say yes, but it could be a generational perception.
