Thanks for nothing crunchyroll!
Its really a shame that i payed my premium account fully but am only able to simulcast stream 7 animes in my region, from which 6 suck ass. Not to mention the animes that are not simulcasted. its about 1:50 Please do something about that. I can't accept the difference in pay for value any more and will not refresh my subscription in the future if this does not change fast. I know its hard to get worldwide rights for the shows but as it is right now, this is really not acceptable! |

FUNimation still has full rights for the first series. I don't believe they are currently streaming it, but you should be able to find the DVDs in a bargain bin somewhere since they've been re-released multiple times. The Viridian boxset is currently going on Righstuf for $37.49: http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/browse/item/76581/4/0/0. [edit]Also available to buy or rent on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewTVShow?id=250575085 But since it costs a dollar fifty more than the DVDs...[/edit] They share some continuity and characters, but KG-A has new main characters and is set waaay into the future so you can enjoy it without having seen the first series. The problem is more in the other direction - you may spoil some elements of the first series by watching this first. |
