I'd say I really don't like math.. Not because I don't like maths, i still get something in the 90 % in my report cards, but I guess I just find it freaking boring repetitive. Let's face it, once you've got how it works, you needn't do a thousand exercices more about the same type of operation -.-

I'm going to go out and say it: math is fucking amazing. I'm no star student (still manage to get A's in math at the very least- but even then, there's a huge gap between someone who UNDERSTANDS the math, as opposed to someone who MEMORIZES the correct way to do math- they're not similar at all).

It's an entirely different language. It helps if you're into physics and programming/logic behind computers/read an intro to logic book... really changed my perspective on math. It makes it easier to learn math too, when you think of it as a computer or a machine (like for functions, for example).

Really displeased how math is taught, though... luckily my trig teacher has adopted a different method and now we do our lessons online (khan academy style) and we do work/any help we need in class.

i enjoy simple math, but why i don't like other math (and actually hate it) as in the kind that is not useful in everyday life. like, tell me when calculus and statistics are useful in life except for being a college/high school teacher. it just annoys me.

I love math, especially Geometry after that I guess it would be Calculus. I thought about being a math teacher - but if I was I would probably choke a child who was having a hard time so that's not an option.

Letters in algebra are only replacements for real numbers.

Person bought y milk packs, and it cost x dollars each. Total price is w. You wouldn't wanna deal with full numbers in equations. Mainly if they start multiplying by themselves.

People who know maths don't spend fucking minutes at checkouts.

By the way, everything you do is a mathematical equation. Most people will never understand why, but that's only because they're not smart enough. But it's there and it's unavoidable, thus why ignorance is a bliss.

I'd like to see how many people enjoy Calculus III and Differential Equations.

Edit: I see people on my campus who take College Algebra or less and think it is hard. Heck... try Engineering Analysis (Caluclus I, II, III, DE, LA) That stuff is hard.
