I never had a problem with maths, but I think I like it more now thanI did when I was at school. It might be because I use it at work (at least to the level of basic algebra) so I can see how useful it is.
I wonder if part of the problem is that maths is taught as a "dry" subject, so a lot of people see it as a lot of boring facts, so they learn to hate it?

Ewww, math is like farting.

I hate it.

Blame the teaches who make the subject boring, not the subject itself (The subject itself also do contribute towards boredrom).

Haze Haze Haze......

I used to hate math, like most people.
But after I started actually doing my homework, I started to understand it. And now, I love math. To the degree that when I want to just chill and relax, I put on some music, lay down on my bed and do math problems. wrote: WHO NEEDS THIS CRAP?! Seriously, why do I have to learn this?! There's no way I have to know this after graduation... You do realize that EVERYTHING we have of technology, we have because of math, right? Everything is math.

I'll be completing my Master's in Applied Math in about 5 months, so I'd say that I really love math a lot. However, it's a subject that seems pretty boring when you're learning the lower level stuff (like high school algebra and geometry), which is probably a big reason why so many people in this thread don't like math. The truth is, when people say they hate math they usually mean they hate high school math, which is basically glorified arithmetic. That stuff only comprises about 0.05% of all mathematics that really exists. Math is a really powerful and elegant subject, but you'd never know that if all you ever learned about was how to solve an algebraic equation!

Show us the way, kind traveler. (humbly bows)

I agree with previous posters I also did a lot of math in high school and university.
But I never thought math was boring. Perhaps it was because I always knew I'm going to need math when I grow up and indeed I need it very often.

I like math :)
makes me feel smart :) hehe

replies will be late. or none at all *busy watching anime...

Math is my favourite subject since it's all notes and tests. I just hate doing projects and writing essays or any other work that takes hours to complete. Oh, I also hate working in groups and doing presentations, so math is the only subject atm where there's none of those crap. Plus, it's the only subject where I do well without studying.

For me I like Math ^^
I prefer math than history xDDD

WelCome Busy World^^

Math kinda gives me a headache.
It's wierd to see Asians like me enjoying math so much.. But hey! It's their opinion and everyone's opinion counts ^^

I'm sorry, I might quit for a while >.< Goodbye everyone..

Taking AP Calculus A/B Next year. Yeah, math is okay. It's fun when you know how to do it, and you problem solve, etc. Just like in AP Computer Science A. Btw, AP Comp Sci is pretty awesome ;D

I thought I hate math. It was why I picked my major. I didn't want to do physical chemistry or calculus based physics. Only reason I am not strictly into chemistry.

Studying`~~

I used to hate it!! but now its all good because i have a good math teacher!!!! yaaay!!! A in math!!!!

Dilly Bisket!
