That's the route I've been considering.. on occasion the roku channel will stream perfectly well, but say 80% of the time it takes time and time again to stream something, if it ever makes it.

Strangely I can stream it on my phone or tablet almost immediately, same network, without issues.

For me, when it does start it's usually perfectly fine after that. But getting it started is almost impossible now.

I'm having trouble playing Blue Exorcist episode 10 on Roku. After starting playback, it buffers twice then just show a still image but the audio continues playing. Anybody else having this problem?

Same thing happens for me. What I've done that seems to work is when it won't load in Roku, I load it on my iPad. I then go back to the Roku and the episode finally loads. I don't know if this is a fluke or if the streaming is effected somehow, but it works the majority of the time.

Try it out and see if it works for you. At least we'll know if we've got something here or if it is indeed a fluke.

The problem with Blue Exorcist will resolve itself shortly once the 480P version is encoded but this exposes a problem that we will have fixed.

We finally switched which service provider the Roku Channel pulls the videos from. I'm pretty sure this will resolve the issues people were having with loading videos but please post here to tell us whether or not you are still experiencing problems.

For several days of heavy use ~ I had Tuesday and Wednesday off and was marathoning Dong Yi ~ no loading problems at all.

Indeed, the most recent loading problem I had was not the familiar "stuck in mud at the square loading bar", but rather episode 2 of an old title that did not load at all ~ that is, dropped back immediately to the splash screen.

But no "stuck in the mud" loading delays for several days of heavy use, including several in the 8pm~12pm EDT slot that used to be all-but-unusable for dramas.

Thanks for the info. I was having problems with the ipad version too so I just watch off the computer.

I watched some videos yesterday and today without any problems at all. woo hoo.

Since yesterday, streaming anime to the Roku has been horrendous. New episodes take like 30 seconds to buffer and constantly keep showing the "loading, please wait" every 10 seconds no matter what time of day it is. It used to load up an episode in less than 2 seconds and never paused to buffer before. What's up with this?

Woo hoo! We watched three episodes of "High Kick" last night with absolutely no glitches or loading problems. Thanks for finally getting this fix in. You can expect my Premium Membership soon!

There's still random videos that are missing which would be why some videos instantly fail to load. However we fixed an encoding issue that was causing a major hold up with us making the missing videos available. So we have at least 1000 Roku videos encoding right now (excluding other videos) which should be completed in a week or 2. After that is done, there will still be about 200 random videos that are missing which we're still working on finding.

I tried streaming Tower of Druaga: Aegis of Uruk on my roku, but the bottom half of the subtitles were cut off, and thus illegible.

Sorry for answering myself, but it appears that the CR app on Roku is busted if you previously had an account. It will not allow me to get a new ID code to link to my new account. It instantly 'connects' me to a free, low res, with ads account.

Both seasons of Asura Cryin' seem to be broken. I can browse through all of the eps, but if I try and play one I get bounced right out of it.
