I'll send feedback along to the development team to see if it is something they can address in a future update to the Roku Channel. i just checked Slam Dunk on my Roku yesterday and I can't believe it. the subs are no longer cut off the bottom. they are fully on screen. so you can fix the subs on all the old 4:3 animes to fit fully on tube tv's. i knew it could be done. thanks. too bad every other old fullscreen anime still has the cut off on the bottom problem. i guess you don't have enough staff to fix all that with other problems arising and can only fix it per anime on request. i knew when other members were saying stuff like your tv's overscan is the problem and not crunchyroll that it was bs. Overscan can definitely play into the problem. Especially if the subs are hardsubs. If you have other series that you would like us to correct, please use the 'Video playback problems?' link at the bottom of the series (wait that's on PC) Just use the Contact Us form to report it and if we can fix it we will. i used the contact form about Gundam Wing and Eyeshield 21 subs going off the bottom of the screen on my 4:3 tv instead of posting here about it and nothing got done about it. just thought it's weird i posted about Slam Dunk having the problem and it got fixed really fast, but when i used the contact form about Gundam Wing and Eyeshield 21 nothing happened. Yup! I got that email and sent it along to the Content group. We're a small team here, and I'm sure it is on his list of things to do. I'll check with him today to see if there is any update on it. Apologies for any wait as we investigate this. |

I just wanted to note that GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class episode 13 appears to be missing subtitles on the Roku.
No problem, however, via the web browser on my PC. |

Just a quick heads-up, but Digimon Xros Wars episode 9 is playing without subtitles on Roku, and isn't available on iOS (despite 10 and 11 being fine on both).

For the last couple of hours, when I try to access the Crunchyroll channel via my Roku, it just tells me that it 'Can't access the service' and boots me back to the main menu. I'm not having this problem with other channels, so is something up on your end?

For what it is worth, I just checked my Roku again, and no problems accessing CR, so either it is a localized problem with their CDN or something wrong with the app installed on your Roku. |

My Roku 2XS will not play any of the Queen's Blade Rebellion episodes.It is stuck on a "Retrieving..." mode.

Problem solved. I updated my settings to allow mature content. Now it plays.
|

I don't know if this will get an answer, but is there ever going to be support for HD streams on the Roku app? It'd be really nice to be able to really take advantage of my CR subscription in this way. I know someone asked this on this very page, but that was a few weeks ago and it was seemingly ignored.

Okay, update on my situation;
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the channel. I've also had my modem and router shut off overnight. Tried firing everything up again this morning and I'm still getting this error every time I try and load the channel; As I said, other channels still seem to be working fine and I don't seem to be having any other Internet troubles, so I'm not really sure what the problem is. It's been like this since yesterday morning. |
