i'm attempting to watch the second episode of maoyu but the quality is only at one at the moment. Will the quality go back up to two like the previous episode?

I am having the same issues on Roku as many others. I've removed the channel and added again. I've even gone so far as to do a factory reset on the Roku.

In the end, it looks for about 2 minutes like the problem is corrected. It will load the first show quickly, with 2 circles quality, then stop, rebuffer at 1 circle and take about 4 times as long to load, if not more.

It's almost like the channel is throttling the bandwidth somehow.

I am still having major problems with Crunchyroll constantly buffering and reloading. Just now I tried to watch a new anime, and it reloaded 5 TIMES during its run. The quality is at one "dot". NONE of my other channels on Roku are acting this way. What's going on???????

I have been having similar issues as to what others have said about long loading times and lower quality and buffering. It is not nearly as bad as others have said but it is a issue as well.

I've noticed the same as of late, but I've also noticed that the experience can vary by series, even when episodes from two different series are played within the same time period (i.e., back to back).

I am experiencing a similar problem with the Crunchyroll channel on my Roku. I never get more than one dot, the video quality is pretty poor, and it takes anywhere from one to three minutes to buffer (Asura Cryin', Magi, Girls und Panzers, and others all do this). I'm kind of fed up with it. I regularly watch in HD on the Funimation channel, Netflix works just fine, and Speedtest says I have over 20Mbs up and 2Mbs down.

Please fix this.

The requested results:


I don't use my Roku that often for video since I play anything that has 720p on my computer, but I tried an episode of one of the series I do use it for (Beast Player Erin). I had no issue with an episode played just after the above results and just before posting this, other than it only giving 1 dot for quality. I don't know if it is relevant, but that series also gives the "no frames available - use bar for search" message when fast forwarding or rewinding.

Using the Speed Test app on my Roku returned results ranging from a low of 3.02 Mbps to 4.99 Mbps for download speeds from the nearby SpeedTest.net server. Except for one of the six results, all were 4.39 Mbps or faster. (The SpeedTest results from my Roku are typically a bit less than from my PC, which can be counted on to return a download speed result of 4.99 - 5.02 Mbps).

The buffering and re-buffering is REALLY bad tonight. Again....what's going on?

As for the instructions you gave earlier, Bjaker, I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about...

Here is mine. It's still giving me problems. Any show I play buffers for a long time plays for a little bit then buffers again. It takes the longest time to play 1 episode.
