I am also seeing one dot quality and numerous loading screens while attempting to watch anime via the roku. Here is the information you request in the inital post. I don't see this with other roku channels nor watching CR via my computer. Is there a fix for this available yet?

Okay I have flipped through a few pages of the forum and see no comments regarding the lack of episode updates on the Vizio VIA app. I know many anime were on "vacation", but from this site as well as other online anime sites they should be farther along on the VIA. I will pose the same question at Flingo, but would be happy to know if this will be fixed. Thanks again and sorry to interrupt the Roku problems.

Flingo updates their app. You need to contact them.

I have been getting only one dot quality for my roku. It usually 2 dots but it's been one dot for a while. I don't know why...

This is just a very small sample size, but today my Roku is giving 2 dot quality and quick loading. I hope the issue is fixed for all users.

So far it has not stopped and re-buffered at slow 1-dot quality like it had been.

No luck here. Still was having issues as before. Any word as how soon this may be fixed?

Crunchyroll isn't the only one having issues with their Roku app. Funimation's Roku app has had reports of taking several minutes to load, and navigation being very slow to respond. Personally, I've experienced those issues myself, although the video seems to play without problem once I get to it. It is bad enough I've reverted to their website for viewing videos.

Coincidence? Probably, since I don't think anything goes thru Roku once you click on an app, and I don't think the two companies use the same CDN.

Likewise, I've reverted on CR for the time being to watching even 480p videos via my PC instead of my Roku.

Well my respite was short lived. Back to 1 dot and constant slow rebuffering.

Funimation has always had issues with there site to be fair. There are times The site will take min. to load just to get on the forums and then I dont bother because it is such a hassle. I have not had good luck since Funimation released there app. Often times I would get episodes to return back to the beginning after a commercial. Recently I would not even be able to play anything at all. The app would take forever to load when i tried to play anything nothing ever happened. I was going to pay for the app, but seeing as how it really is in early Alpha stages I'll wait.

I am also experiencing extremely slow load times and only getting one dot when I always had two dots in the past. It seems to have been this way for a couple of weeks. If this keeps up, I'm not sure I'll be keeping my paid subscription much longer.

It has been over a month since I was able to use my Roku to watch an episode on Crunchyroll with decent quality (e.g., more than one dot and not fuzzy) and without spending 2-3 minutes re-buffering 3 or 4 times per episode. This is unacceptable. What is your plan to fix this? How are you planning to compensate your viewers for your poor performance? Do you really expect people to pay for this level of service while you get your act together?

I would suggest, if you want to retain any of your Roku users, that you give anyone who has accessed Crunchyroll via the Roku app in the last month a free month of service and, if this isn't fixed by February, give them a second free month. If that happens, I'm willing to wait and see if you can fix this problem. If not, then I see no reason to keep paying for a subscription I can't use. If I leave, I won't be back soon. I've only stayed this long because I think you had a great service once and I'd have liked to continue with it.

I have been waiting to see what Crunchyroll would do about this on their own initiative. Since that seems to be to keep collecting our money while not fixing the problem -- I decided I needed to say something. To those who are saying to be patient, I say 3 days is patient, a week is patient, a month is ridiculous.

Same here. I get one-dot quality, and the image is decent, but the buffering and re-buffering is STILL going on! Every episode I watch on Crunchyroll pauses and rebuffers several times during its run.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, CRUNCHYROLL, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??? When I first accessed your network, everything was fine. Suddenly this issue occurs. Again, I have zip problems with any other Roku channel. Amazon, Netflix, Newscaster, Pandora, etc, they all work fine. So the problem's not on MY end. Thank god I'm not paying for this channel. If this keeps up I never will.

Either you are saying they should do that for anyone that used their Roku even once, or you are suggesting CR examine the logs for each person to see if they were also accessing the site via other devices in the same time period.

I'm disappointed that CR has been having issues on the Roku recently, but as they sold me a subscription for Crunchyroll, and not "Crunchyroll on the Roku", I'm willing to put up with it for a while. I can certainly see how someone that only accesses CR via the Roku would be more concerned, but what you suggest doesn't appear to be practical.

At least you appear to be an equal in your requests, since the user Traveller posted this over at the Funimation forum yesterday:
