And as even with their awards they changed some categories at the last minute. Here's the end results of the Slammys on RAW, where they must have had a hell of a booking meeting today, cause a bunch of the nominees for the Slammys have been changed. Very noticeably, the Bret/HBK handshake was removed from the "WWE Moment of the Year" category. How can that not be the Moment of the Year?

Most FUNNIEST Gimmick of the Year goes to:

Jeff Jarrett - for his RIDICULOUS Double-J Double-M A Challenge!

AHAHAHAHAA!!! that sh!t is freakin HILARIOUS!!! Jeff Jarrett as a MMA Fighter??? BWAAAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!

for weeks now, hes been coming out and telling everybody he runs a MMA school and trains students in Jiu Jitsu and all that kinna sh!t! last week on TNA, he came out with an entourage and before he stepped into the ring, he stopped at a "prep point" to have the ref frisk him and a cut man grease his face! i couldnt stop laughing!!!! that sh! was just SO damn HILARIOUS to me...

Jeff Jarrett was a former WWF superstar, for all of u out there who may not know(see? this is my WWE tie-in, so i hope this post doesnt get 'spoilered' for unrelated subject matter or something... cuz i know the mods around here are very strict). he was a long standing wrestler for Vince Mcmahon before the death of his good friend Owen Hart prompted him to leave WWF and have a short run with WCW, before it was bought out. not wanting to go back under Vince, Jarrett started his own wrestling entity - TNA.

yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah... now hes a MMA Fighter and its one of the ONLY reasons i watch TNA these days. u gotta watch it! its not meant to be funny, but u can tell hes having such a good time doin this gimmick! and its so damn RIDICULOUS that u cant help but laugh...

Um you not need point it out all the time you know. Pointing it out makes it MORE likely for editing...anyways back onto topic as I didn't find the Jarrett stuff that funny considering Samoa Joe who already is down the card (and why he re-signed to TNA is beyond me) tapped to him it shows how TNA like WWE has no clue how to write or book anymore.

I'll say about the sleepers, I mean, Slammys is that most of the right ones won I suppose. How Big Show didn't win an award named after his movie was bad but then LayCool winning 2 shows how bad Divas are handled now as far as booking. I concur that Cena who won due to the sheep superstar of the year didn't need the move one too but hey the WWE milks its cash cows while attempting to link it to the storylines. I thought Orton's RKO on Bourne should have won but maybe shows the loss of faith in Orton as a face. Canadian Shatner joins much Canadian shunned in the WWE so no shock I guess. Least they found Kailee the Miz Girl who is this generation's Basketball Kid the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase cost in a bet for those who recall it.

Here's my quick picks then of the other categories mentioned for everyone to try (see I'll show a few choices outside the WWE where applicable so lay off how it's strict here...):

Best In Ring Wrestler - Chris Jericho
Best Tag Team of the Year - None in the WWE so choosing the Kings of Wrestling in ROH of Chris Hero and Claudio Castionoli
Best Superstar on the Mic/Promo - CM Punk, both for his heel promos and new commentary spot stuff
Best Single Promo - Rowdy Roddy Piper's promo from the Old School RAW
Most Improved Wrestler of the Year - Dolph Ziggler
Best Comeback of the Year - Goldust (especially considering his days in TNA before)
Best New Finishing Move of the Year - Alberto's Armbreaking Armbar
Best New Entrance Theme of the Year - DASHING Cody Rhodes' Smoke and Mirrors
Best Feud of the Year - HBK/Taker
Match of the Year - HBK/Taker
Best Manager/Valet of the Year - Paul Bearer before he got kidnapped
Best Commentator/Interviewer of the Year - Doesn't exist in WWE so I'll go with Strikeforce's Mauro Ranallo who plays a heel reviewer for Right After Wrestling too on the Score in Canada
Best Face - Bryan Danielson
Best Heel - CM Punk
Best Debut of the Year - Alberto Del Rio
Rookie of the Year - Wade Barrett

Worst In Ring Wrestler - The Great Khali
Worst Superstar of the Year - John Cena considering how he's been booked by the end of the year...
Worst Diva of the Year - All of them...ok fine, Kelly Kelly and Eve if I have to narrow it down
Worst Tag Team of the Year - All of them...to narrow again Santino and Koslov
Worst Superstar on the Mic/Promo - R Truth
Worst Single Promo - The horrible mustache one by Eli Cottonwood on NXT
Most Disappointing Superstar of the Year - John Cena and Randy Orton considering they were to be the top faces but are horribly booked
Worst New Finisher of the Year - The Cobra by Santino (worse than maybe even the Worm)
Worst New Entrance Theme of the Year - Whatever Ted Dibiase Jr. keeps coming out to weekly
Worst Feud of the Year - Cena and Nexus by the end while Kane with anyone sucked bad too
Worst Match of the Year - Kaitlyn vs Vickie and anything Hornswoggle was in...
Worst Guest Star of the Year - Most of them...most heinous were Jon Heder, Jerry Springer, Criss Angel, the cast of MacGruber and the A-Team, Jon Lovitz, and Johnny Knoxville (OK hard to narrow)
Shake Your Head in Disbelief of the Year Moment - The handling of any young talent being pushed then depushed so often, and the number of times people lost via looking at someone coming to watch a match
Worst Manager/Valet of the Year - Eve and her horrible dancing
Worst Commentator/Interviewer of the Year - MICHAEL COLE the tool that's killing commentary
Most Hated Wrestler for all the Wrong Reasons - John Cena
Dropped the Ball on this Idea Award - Jack Swagger's title run and how badly the ball was dropped on booking the Nexus
Biggest Decline Award - Jack Swagger from champ to Eagle guardian
Most Missed Cut/Injured Talent Award - Mickie James and Serena

Well most of all a wish to a better 2011 in pro wrestling with the big 2 companies and season's greetings to all you members!

wow... i didnt know my Award was open for critique! AAHAHA!

i didnt really look at the categories that were set up until after kwan and andy posted their picks, but im surprised that no one mentioned the SES...

for the category "Dropped the Ball on this Idea Award", both kwan and andy mentioned the Nexus. but to me, since the Nexus is still around(at least i think they are... i didnt see all of RAW tonight), theres still a chance they could turn it into something good. a very SLIM CHANCE, like 1 in a million, but a chance nonetheless...

i think the Dropped the Ball on this Idea Award goes to the SES. i thought that the SES was an AWESOME IDEA! it looked like a damn good stable, especially with Serena in it. but it just went south cuz Serena didnt stay in character(outside the ring in real life), and they booked the Big Show to dominate and decimate them TOO SOON imo.

i dont really care if anyone agrees with me on that one or not. or maybe im just a HUGE CM Punk fan, so my opinion is very biased. but theres my pick for that category...

Nope you know me I'm a Punk fan as well (I'm now seeing how intriguing his feud starting with Cena might go). I miss Serena hence she was on my missed cuts of the year though heard she's doing fine in ROH so good for her. She really dedicated to the angle other than the mishap-how many gals shave their heads for a job? Not many. Good choice on that pick, SES forever!
