Older shoes work at SD or 480p, but have trouble at 720p. The biggest issue, however, is that it happens with new releases, regardless of video quality.


Gave it a try again and everything works now... Doesn't matter if it is new or old, before that none of the shows worked, age or quality didn't matter. You would see a pic of the show in the videoscreen and then it would just stay black.
So I have no idea what was wrong. Didn't update or download anything since yesterday.


I don't understand how it's working for you but I still have the same problem for 2 months now. It's making me seriously doubt CR.

I have been getting this same problem for the past 2 months no matter what device I use to access crunchyroll on my pc,ps3, iPad and iPod touch. It will load up the first 10 seconds and then stop working. It getting a bit annoying now this site used to work perfect and every other streaming service I use works perfectly like YouTube and love film.

videos are still crashing the browser - any thoughts when the streaming will be fixed
the ipad app isnt working well either (it keeps freezing and going to loading)

I have to agree with those who said CR isn't doing its job. I made a thread about how customer service seems to be non-existent. This site is a business afterall right? No customer service in a business = suicide. The least they can do is, show some initiative on fixing the problem. I have noticed that many of the post regarding solutions to the video problem were made by fellow CR users.

Quick question: Any of you actual been helped by some sort of customer service by CR? I haven't....

Try using a different web browser. Switched to chrome during prime time hours (7pm-12am est) about 2 weeks ago on my macs and my problems have been fixed. Hope I didn't jinx myself and it stop working tonight lol
