I think if you listen to your teacher and actually do the worksheets/homework they give you, you won't have any trouble... for me anyway, LOL.

I usually look over any notes or anything I don't understand in short periods of time, cause I really cannot study LOL. Sitting for 2 hours straight studying sounds impossible for me.

I really hate studying; it's boring and monotonous. I'll usually just review the test material the night before, the morning of, or both. I don't see the point in studying days beforehand. And in my case, our teacher completes the chapter the day before the test so that's the only day that we'll really have the "complete" picture. Anyway, my grades are fine. All A's for now, but my semester finals haven't been added yet.

here's my tip
NEVER MEMORIZE ALWAYZ UNDERSTAND..!!!

well this is mostly the mistake of many student!

if you memorize stuffs for your test of course u'll get good grades but after a few days those stuffs you've memorize you'll forget it all

so the best and most effective way is to understand everything, and try to define them in your own words..

and when exam comes all you need to do is to scan your notes:))

those will help you a lot....
:))
that did help me alot in my studies:))

It depends on the subject.

If it's a science or math course I'm usually interested in it, and I'll read the chapters or a few notes before the professor covers the material in class. I'll do any online homework that's posted, or if there is none then I'll do a few practice problems out of the book.

If it's a bullshit humanities class, then I probably won't open the textbook the entire semester and just take whatever grade I get.

For the most part I can't really bring myself to study before tests and I hate cramming. So I make a point to thoroughly understand the material when it's first introduced, and that way when it comes time for the tests I'll just glance over the material the night before for like 30 min or so.

I got all A's this semester without stressing too much, with the exception of that B in this arts and humanities course

I study diligently always, then when exams are taken i have already done heavy lifting. It makes more sense to me to study and sacrifice for a bit now, and have an easy time for the rest of my life.

I try to study as hard as I can some week before a test.

I think sleep is the key to success.

I always do the last minute study. I pay attention in class, so I pretty much remember what the teacher said when I'm taking an exam.
