Well, I cram. I know that's bad, and it's a really bad habit for me. It's really hard for me to study though, like I always get off tracked. I hate studying, but I'm passionate about my grades. I'm not a bad student.

*sigh* I can never bring myself to revise for most of the year
so I cram a day or two before >.<
I never cram overnight though I always make sure to get a good sleep
and watch an episode of anime in the morning before the exam
so that I'm as relaxed as possible
And I got pretty much straight A's for my GCSE's
although I think if i'd of been a good non-lazy student
I could of made them A*'s >.< but oh well XD

In college, I always made sure to take detailed notes in class. I would then type them up and emphasize the important parts (and add to it, if needed). If there were parts of the class notes that I did not understand, I would either ask the professor or do my own research on the subject.

I was never satisfied until I understood the subject matter 100%, so when I went over my notes for studying, I made questions for myself. If I didn't know, or answered incorrectly, I restarted studying my notes from the very beginning.

I also found that studying with a group of friends works very well, as one friend may understand something that you would have never thought of... Just as long as you all can stay on track, studying with friends is a great idea.

Some have already mentioned, but everyone has different ways of studying that actually work; for example, cramming never ever worked for me. I began using my study method during my second semester of college and it worked wonderfully for me, but I had to keep at it. I can't see this working for those who procrastinate. It can't be put off until the last minute and it doesn't work for cramming.

It depends. For a normal test, I usually spend 2-4 hours studying in my bed the night before (20:00-24:00).. Studying while you're at facebook is a bad idea, it makes you procrastinate.. If it's a big test you might want to study an hour the night before.. The best way to study is to do it with a SERIOUS friend, basically you ask eachother while you study and you just help eachother out. Always works for me, and I always get the best results after I've studied with a friend. You really don't want to do it at home, as you usually mess around. So one hour after school if you got that kind of opportunity, in some quiet room. =)

I study by paying attention in class, then doing homework on anything that I don't understand. E.g. in calculus I had a lot of trouble with trigonometric substitution, so I did a lot of practice problems related to trig substitutions.

I really don't study if its for big tests. It's either you know it or you don't. I just read the book. Summarize the chapters into ten sentences max. If it's a midterm I would memorize textbook the day before the test and forget the information after the test. Please don't follow my way of studying; it's a way of procrastination.

Err....my grades i think they are all in the mid 90's
