Odd then that when you check on the videos at Hulu all the videos (which appear to be only excerpts) have a banner across the bottom of the thumbnail that says "Watch at nick.com", and clicking on a listing for the show itself takes you away from the Hulu website.

Perhaps if you have Hulu Plus you are seeing something different, but usually they will mention if the show is available on Hulu Plus.

I don't think they're dead, or at least one of them. It's too soon to judge that from such a scene. I'm thinking one of them may return for the next season (if there will be one).

According to Wiki and many other sources there are 26 episodes, only 12 have aired this season, so there must be a second season. :w00t:
As far as Tarlock lighting the fuel in the boat causing it to explode... well, we will just have to see. In the Avatar's world people seem to survive almost anything, if the writers want them to.
I personaly think Amon/Noatok and Tarlock are done for. There would be no reason to bring Amon back, his story line is pointless now that Korra can reverse Amon's "equalizer" skill.
My first guess would be now that Korra and Mako have "confessed their love" it's time for Asami to play her evil part. I always felt she had a bad side that she hides. Losing Mako to Korra might make her snap, break her dad out of jail and use his money and future tech to get revenge ... or something.

yea I saw that some of them are excerpts, but I noticed there were sort of "page numbers" near the top right hand corner of the hulu site numbering 1-10 and I clicked one of them, they turned out to be full episodes.

I loved the finale. It took several turns I didn't expect, had great fighting, tense and sometimes tragic moments, and for me, a satisfying outcome. I'm really happy for and proud of Korra. I think The Legend of Korra has been an amazing ride. I believe that, without a doubt, this first season was as good as the entirety of the original series.

I liked the finale .. but I still feel it lacked a certain punch. I do like that General Iroh is voiced by the same dude who did Zuko. I found that kinda funny. But compare it to finales from the original. The finale to the book of water was freaking awesome. Then you had the finale against Zuko and ... the sister .... forgot her name. Thinking back .. what did they have that this finale did not. The avatar state. Yes ... she finally unlocked it at the end .... but I honestly expected her to awaken her avatar state while fighting Amon, and then the true battle would begin. I kinda felt let down...

I have to say that I kind of disliked ending or at least how it ended
I think it would've been better if it ended with what happened to Tarlock and Amon
And then have Korra travel the world in search of a way to regain her bending in the next season rather than have that avatar state automatic recovery in the last moment

This season should've focused LESS on the romantic angst and more on Korra learning air bending and the anti-bending revolution led by Amon

So in the end, season 1 gets a 3.5 out of 5
The last ep gets 2 out of 5 by having a dumb ending (though it makes up for it with that dramatic scene between Tarlock and Amon)

C'mon people!
How was Amon's death not the most moving piece of Western animated television you've ever seen?

After getting his backstory, I actually felt sad for Amon and Tarlock as well in their end scene
The blame all goes to the dad using them as tools for revenge

So....Spongebob laughs at their deaths? Not surprised lol

When that tear dropped from Korra at the end of the episode I thought she was contemplating suicide.

Fucking hell, what is Avatar doing on an anime forum? Avatar is not anime. It is ANIME INFLUENCED! The creators already admitted it is not anime and only anime influenced during an interview with IGN. Anime is Japanese animation, as far as those of you who do not speak full Japanese or do not live in Japan are concerned.

Interview: http://tv.ign.com/articles/818/818284p2.html

In closing: AVATAR IS NOT ANIME! See ya!

Most of Crunchroll's userbase are little kids.

Little kids like kid's cartoons.

Makes sense to me they'd get confused and think it's anime when it's not.
