Anime = a particular style of Japanese animation.

So the term fits in a loose sense. Plus it was animated by Koreans, they do a lot of work for Japanese studios anyways.

I love this series, each episode has enough suspense to keep me interested. The link below is from the Den of Geek's review of the latest episode. I like her interpretations and the themes that come out of every episode.

Just to add a little bit on...

Anime = A cartoon style originating from Japan, but not limited to being animated in Japan. Many Japanese studios are known to outsource to other countries for animation. Thus, anime is not necessarily considered Japanese in origin. Only the art style, which is also sometimes used and funded by foreign studios overseas.

That's about the gist of it. I think Legend of Korra fits in style as Anime if that's what you prefer to classify it as.

Also, episode 8 was amazing! ^.^ I'm stoked for the next!

I am surprised and pretty disappointed that The Legend of Korra is only 2 seasons with the first season being 10 episodes. I love this series for its themes and parallels with anime quality story telling.

I dislike when they make the fans wait, but going by the season finale preview, it'll definitely worth the wait.

I loved today's episode. Chief Lin Beifong is my favorite character and though fans might not agree, I also like Asami.

Actually I think Lin is the break out star. For me "That lady is my hero."
