Video quality is not really all that great, (I think the quality is better when you visit via the mobile website.) just watched Naruto ep on my Samsung Galaxy S and there seems to be some problems when the scene changes, it's too blocky, and picture is distorted. Also Subs are too big, taking up more than half the screen.
But it is still alpha, so still got a way to go.hopefully the video quality improves,or atleast we get the option to view at a higher definition. And the Subs are not taking up half the screen. |

Its not bad... Honestly I think the subtitles could use some sizing down... FREAKING HUUUUGE.... I'd rather see more video than text please.
Half the size it is at now should be good... For now ill just watch the player regularly on my Galaxy S Vibrant, thanks to the flash plugin... hahaha >:D |

Had the app crash just after logging in the first time while the show thumbnails loaded. After forcing a close, and reopening the app, it ran great. The quality was above average for the streaming content I have seen. I thought the size of the subs were perfect on the Motorola Droid, and the video ran without a hitch on a good 3G connection. The app also seems to have less effect on battery life then any other video I have used. I would see more drain from youtube videos when the phone and battery were newer. I will enjoy testing this further.

We currently only show a 240P version of the videos but we have a 360P quality version ready for Android that we just haven't made available yet since we first need to set up a way for people to choose the video quality they want. Though there's going to be issues with individual episodes that we'll need to fix. Edit: Typed the wrong numbers. |
