A+ answer right here. Pretty much this. Your favorite food, like an ice cream sundae, can cheer you up. Going for a walk is more likely to cool me down than going for a drive, as driving while angry/upset tends to affect things like speed and probably reaction time. Letting it out by ranting in a diary or to a close friend can help. Get it out however you need as long as you don't hurt yourself or anyone else, or ruin favorite property. Scream if you're at home or somewhere it would be appropriate. And of course, breathe, think logically, calm yourself down, maybe take a relaxing bath/shower.

If I'm upset enough I tend to feel like hurting things or people quite badly... However once i have a weapon to do said horrible thing I am able to calm down... It's a little weird. I'm not a psychopath...
