Ooh! Someone did make a thread for this drama!

I absolutely LOVE The Fierce Wife. I haven't finished it yet (I'm on ep 14) but I will say the script is very well written thus far. Sonia Sui (who plays the female lead An Zhen) is seriously killing it. I didn't know who she was prior to this drama, but now that I do I'll be on the look out for her upcoming projects. She's a very good actress.

Currently holding the top spot in my favorite dramas list is this awesome show The Fierce Wife. It's a mature psychological drama that mirrors the harsh realities most women experience in their marriage and explores the different aspects of an extramarital affair. I loved An Zhen's character development, how she transformed from being an utterly plain and devoted wife who gave her all to her husband into a beautiful woman who embraced her newly-discovered self-worth...without sacrificing her kind and generous nature. Her holistic transformation is worth watching (to me, it was a good enough reason to continue. Enduring the idiot Rui Fan, his mentally-unstable mistress, and their "us-against-the-world" relationship onscreen was a bit too much). I also loved the ending since it held so much meaning. From the moment Rui Fan tearfully asked An Zhen to give him another chance to that final scene where she and Tian Wei finally shook hands during his book-signing event (a sign that said that she was ready to accept his feelings for her), the final episode left me feeling happy and satisfied.
