Yumeiro Patissiere Manga SPOILERS

Chapter 34
Part 1

The chapter starts off with the queen giving her approval for the sweet spirits to return to the human world. Ichigo thanks Prince Julian and praises him by saying, that he will make a wonderful prince whilst holding his hand (Kashino gets a little jealous ). The prince pulls her close and says that he hopes Ichigo will also make her dream come true, Kashino thinking it was something else tries to pull Ichigo away, but before he can do that, Julian shoves Ichigo into Kashino and then the magic spoon shines.
The scene then shifts to Salon de Marie, some girl (I think it’s the same girl that Ichigo got jealous of) says to Cross that Ichigo and the others haven’t returned yet and Cross states something about how it wasn’t gonna be easy, and goes to put Ichigo’s Lemon Moons into the oven complementing that they had gotten very popular, when a hand pops out of the oven and Team Ichigo and the Sweet Spirits come out (landing on poor Cross). Cross sees his spirit (which he calls Milk-chan) and welcomes her back, everybody else also gets their Sweet Spirits back and all the students are glad.

Ichigo is happy that everyone got their spirits back and then she comments something about how Julian noticed the bonds between humans and the sweet spirits. Then a voice welcomes them back and Team Ichigo turn around and see that it’s Henri-sensei and the Principal. Henri talks about how he got a detailed report about their actions from Prince Julian, about how they made a wonderful cake for Julian’s party (there’s a word in there, so I’m not sure what sort of party it was).

Then Henri-sensei starts praising them saying that they did a good job and that this time as Marie Lucas’s great grandson he was extraordinarily happy. Then he starts talking about Ichigo’s growth and he basically just talks about the first time he met her and how she has grown and something about how he hoped that “she would make a new wind blow in the world of the Sweet Spirits,” or something like that.

Ichigo gets embarrassed and says how she would’ve never made it this far on her power and that everybody had a hand in it. Henri then comments on how Japanese people are so modest, but they make big developments and then hands Ichigo a letter saying that it’s something that he thinks is necessary, but it’s entirely in French (Ichigo has a hard time reading it ) and all the Sweet Princes are huddling over her shoulder trying to read it and Kashino says that it’s from the Paris Branch of Saint Marie’s.
The letter addresses all the members of Team Ichigo and invites them to study abroad at the Paris Branch (Everybody’s shocked faces are priceless , saying that it can’t be true). But the Principal corrects them saying that it is true and that it is because of the recommendations they got from the Queen, Prince Julian and Team Matilda (the team from the Paris division who they were competing against) for their great efforts and asks whether they were gonna take it or not.

Ichigo is shocked by this and says how she wasn’t gonna take it because of her obligations to the Salon and some other reasons. Cross scolds her by saying “Don’t be an Idiot” and says some other stuff and after getting some support from the Salon chief and Kashino and the others, she decides to go to Paris.

Part 2

The scene shifts later and Ichigo and the others are being congratulated by Rumi and everyone else. Both Andou and Hanabusa are surrounded by their fangirls and Andou says something about how Oujou is chasing after Kashino in the High School Division.
Rumi then whispers in Ichigo’s ear about how Ichigo should grab Kashino as quickly as possible because there are a lot of cute girls in France (or something like it). Ichigo starts blushing and starts yelling at Rumi, “What are you saying!?” Ichigo starts thinking that she and Kashino aren’t like that, but sometimes he’s kind to her and she wonders why. Though her thoughts get interrupted by her teacher yelling at her about her passport and she rings her mum up. The next scene is just a bunch of shots highlighting the days before they go to France.

The night before they leave for France

Ichigo can’t get to sleep and Vanilla is having dreams about her boyfriend “Beru-kun,” Ichigo notes that she has to say goodbye to her room tomorrow and gets overwhelmed by a sudden desire and goes to the Middle School kitchen where she sees Kashino tempering.
Kashino spots her and asks why she came here, Ichigo asks the same thing (he’s a bit surprised and Ichigo is also surprised that she met him on their last night here). Kashino says that since it today is the last day, he thought that he’d come here. Ichigo is very happy that they had the same thought and says, “Same Here! Same Here!” Kashino then continues saying that when he came to the kitchens, he realized that he didn’t just want to see it, but wanted to do tempering it too. Ichigo gets super happy saying that when she got here she wanted to put on an apron and then she suggests that “since they’re here, why don’t we make a cake to Julian and the Queen” and Kashino says that it “sounds good”.

Warning: This next part is the big romantic bit, so be prepared (I still start fangirling whenever I read this part).

Ichigo and Kashino start making the cake and Ichigo thinks how good it is that she and Kashino and making a cake together alone. Kashino turns around and asks her about whether or not she has finished her preparations for tomorrow and Ichigo is embarrassed (as Kashino just interrupted her thoughts) saying that she is and talks about her passport and to be quiet in a nervous tone. Ichigo thinks that that wasn’t what she wanted to talk about (I’m not sure about the translation) whilst separating the egg yolks and Kashino starts reminiscing about how when Ichigo first transferred in and how she couldn’t even crack an egg and now “no matter what sweets you think, you can make delicious cakes that make you go “Ah!”” and notes how she always tries to do her best. Ichigo is surprised by what Kashino is saying to her and thinks that he doesn’t need to say that, but then says aloud,

“Especially since I have to show my gratitude to Kashino. He’s a person who works harder than anyone and he’s taught me so many important things. He’s hot-tempered, but he’s really kind. When I had a hard time at Salon de Marie, I remember that he made chocolates for me. It made me very happy. That time, I realize that I… about Kashino…. ”

Ichigo then realises what’s going on and thinks, “What the hell am I saying!? This is just like a confession” (her face is beet red, Kashino has just been listening to all of this while tempering). Kashino then just says that his cake is done and Ichigo flustered says to just wait a moment and that hers is almost ready. I think Ichigo or Kashino says this “It’s not like I’m strong.” Ichigo finishes her cake and says that it’s made of Gateau Chocolate with strawberry chocolates which carries my feelings of love. Kashino then says that he made a Strawberry Cream cake with chocolate decorations (of the Eiffel Tower) with the theme “The Path to Paris”. Ichigo is surprised at the mood of the moment.

She then changes the subject by suggesting that they pile their cakes on top of each other, Kashino agrees and then they start modifying their cakes. When they finished, Ichigo was in awe of their new cake and says that it was perfect, before they both noticed that their cake was like a ‘wedding cake’. They look at each other and Ichigo turns away (her face is red) and is anxious because they both have the same thought and then starts saying, “One day I would like to try and make a wedding cake. Ah!! Not my own of course but as a Patissiere.” At the same time she’s thinking “Oh no, what shall I do!? I can’t look Kashino in the face. But then Kashino says, “But, I will make your wedding cake” and then he holds her hand. Ichigo turns and faces Kashino. Kashino continues by saying,

“I will make your birthday cake, wedding cake and even the jerk that you like’s cake (He uses Yatsu which is a mean way of addressing a person)”
Ichigo: Kashino… (She’s thinking this)
Ichigo responds saying, “Me too” and then they kiss with them both thinking “I Love You” in the background.

The Next Day

Chocolate, Caramel and Café are talking about how nice the weather is and Café says how the wind form Paris is calling them. The Sweet Princes are surrounded by more fangirls who are all saying “Take Care, Don’t forget about me etc…”
The teacher then comes and tells them that the car sent to pick them up has arrived and asks where Ichigo is. Kashino says that “Isn’t she here yet..?” The teacher then says to hurry otherwise they won’t catch the plane in time, Kashino then volunteers to look for her. It turns out that Ichigo and Vanilla are at the statue of the Queen of the Sweet Spirits leaving the cake that she and Kashino made at the statue as an offering and saying goodbye. Vanilla then says about how it’s like a dream that the girl who failed at making crepes and cried is now going to study abroad in Paris, before she starts crying and talks about how happy she is and thanks Ichigo for being her partner. Ichigo giggles and says how it’s not the end, and that Vanilla hasn’t become a court Patissiere yet and then she suggests taking one last walk around the school.

As they are walking around, Ichigo is filled with lots of memories of her time at the academy and starts crying. Kashino comes running with a worried look and Ichigo tells him what’s wrong. When Hanabusa and Andou come up and comfort Ichigo. Ichigo then does a bit of narration about how she met a lot of people and how she is going on a journey to make her dream come true. Team Ichigo then runs out of the school’s gate.

A couple years later

Two women are passing by a sweets shop in Paris called “Le Reve Couler” (Yep, same name as from the anime) and they are complimenting the shop when a girl starts running by with a bouquet of roses covering her face, then a male turns and says “What are you doing, Ichigo!? It’s almost time to open the shop.” Ichigo then yells back,” Andou jut sent the lease for decorations and the roses from Hanabusa just arrived.” The women note that the two people are Japanese and noting how young that girl is and say let’s enter. They open the door and are greeted by Kashino and Ichigo (Ichigo has longer hair now) who says,

” Welcome to our shop! Please have some Dream - Coloured Sweets!.
