That Yugioh Zexal text is wrong. I have never seen one that has it right. The other kids name is Shark Ryoga, the manga explains it much better. So, what are the chances of a simulcast?

Zero kids anime are never simulcast.

Cardfight!! Vanguard was listed in the leak of shows going to Crunchyroll...so yeah. Though since we know nothing of the show of than it being a card game series I won;t knock it's maturity just yet since the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise tends to handle itself maturely. On the other hand Zexal would only get a simulcast of 4 Kids approves it since 4 Kids is definently getting the license early. Their already talking about it on Toonzaki's Facebook page.

But it isn't going to Crunchyroll as far as we can tell. Please give me the link to the leak then. It is Nico Nico simulcast, meaning no subs.

Mere coincidence of us both being on this forum. I am on so many forums, you'll get to know me well enough. Serebii is my least used forum.

Looking forward to Deadman Wonderland, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, Ai no Exorcist (maybe), and maybe Tiger & Bunny.

Guess I'm probably one of the only people who isn't as hyped as everyone.

I'm look forward Steins;Gate, and that's about it.

I think I'll try Deadman Wonderland, and Aoi No Exorcist. Though I'm not expecting much from it (I don't care for them, but I might as well try them since I've read a bit of their manga counterparts.)

I think I should really start watching Gintama as well.

Other then that, everything looks boring (I haven't looked at the list fully.)

Also, AncientOne, is that how it works? If there is a strong chance of an anime being picked up for a TV release, it won't be simulcast? Crunchyroll picks up anime that will never get a dub?

Basically broadcast means a lot more money than streaming, since a company isn't going to waste the money on a dub for just broadcast, so a DVD release is implied.

If the company that is interested in licensing a title for broadcast (and home video) even hints that streaming it first could make them re-think the deal, few licensing companies would risk the deal.

So is Card Fight Vanguard going to be impossible for dubbing? That would be a huge bummer as I know people who wanted to see the card game brought over, but without the anime, it will most likely fail, like Duel Masters did here.

EDIT: 4kids does both broadcast and streaming, the latter is free.

It''s not impossible, it's just that some companies *cough*Funimation*cough* are afraid of someone getting streaming rights before them, and having to pay them to get those streaming rights. Some shows will get picked up if companies are willing to shell out the cash, but others remain in the dark(still waiting for Viz or Funimation to get some common sens and license Katekyo Hitman Reborn! from here)...

4kids has a very large streaming library, almost as large as Funimation, so I wouldn't be surprised if they pass this up for that reason. Although, they could always just do a joint issue. But really, is everything but Yugioh not safe from such a fate?

Like I said some stuff will get picked up. it depends pretty much on if the company has a relationship with the studio that demands they get the title(Funimation has take every Gonzo show aired on Crunchyroll), or if there's a particularly large fan demand(Aniplex USA is dubbing Durarara and the dub comes out this month).
