Visual Novels

cleaverboy wrote: It is very hard for any non japanese people to get their hands on Visual novels because the american video game industry doesn't recognize the appeal of these great games. They are happy with all their FPS's and visual novels don't get any recognition. They really are great games however esspecially if you love simulation esque games. I've played Fate/stay night/ and all the Girlfriend of Steel games plus a few others. These games have great art direction and really are undercredited. Um... jlist has dozens of fully translated Visual Novels and you can find many more raw ones on himeya shop. There are also numerous projects going on to translate these. (Still waiting my ass off for completed shuffle! game patch -.-) Oh btw, you haven't played Fate/Stay night unless it was the raw and im pretty certain you haven't played GF of steel either. |

Trust me, unless it is a special occasion (lie maybe Fate/Stay Night, MAYBE) then you definitley want just translated text. |

Mass Effect is a choice game...but in the different genre. Whole worlds generally don't die in visual novels and there's always a romantic theme( to my limited knowledge of visual novels) . |
